Great place to walk my doggos! I am giving this section 4 stars instead of 5 because even though this is a paved section of the path, the city doesnt upkeep it very well. Additionally, there is some graffiti, but its amusing. People frequently ask about the safety of this stretch of path, but I walk there almost every day with the sunrise and Ive never had an issue. You will see deer, some cows and horses, and occasionally the lesser sandhill cranes (non migratory).
