Called initially to schedule estimate for service upgrade. Was told i didnt need to me there being that the meter was outside. Day of scheduled estimate the Electrician then told me he didnt want to go look at it because I wasnt there. If I needed to be there I would have been there, but I was told I wasnt needed. Rescheduled for next day and gave second chance because of the positive reviews on Google. He told me he would be there that morning. I called in the afternoon and he said he still wasnt there but promised he would go later that night. I didnt get a phone call that night or the next day. Told the electrician it was a time sensitive from the start, but he chose to delay several days, putting us into the weekend, and it ended up putting us 5 days behind schedule. He told me he thought it might have been a 120 amp service from looking at it, but it turned out to be 200 amps so mostly likely he never even showed up once because it was pretty obvious being that the conduit was around 2 wide and the meter said cl200 on it.

Mike at Young Electric is fantastic. The very first compliment I can give is that he is responsive. He always either answered when I called or quickly returned my messages. That is so important in any service business. I also appreciated that Mike talked through different ways to approach the job that would be high quality but also cost effective. He installed ceiling speakers into my home theater and cleanly ran all of the wires in a very tricky room. Theres no way I could have figured that out myself and it was such a relief to get it done and look so clean and professional. My wife was really nervous about the speakers and wire needing a lot of holes that would extensive patching and she and I were both so thrilled to see when the job was done that there was almost no patching needed. We only had minimal spackle and sanding which was nothing short of a miracle given the space and constraints. I highly recommend Young Electric and Audio - Mike clearly has the years of experience to do the highest quality of work and he does it at very fair prices.

So oddly enough when I called young electric heating and air it was off of a referral to take my electric fireplace to possibly an electrician. Due to the fact that most likely is a sensor issue.when I talked to the lovely gentleman over the phone he didnt work on these types of units, however he did give me some very sound advice that may work before I have to trash the whole unit since most places that would work on it cost at least 250 and theyre very limited on what they can order. what stood out to me is he doesnt work on these type of units, however he still spent an extra 15 minutes on the phone to try to see if he could figure out a way to help me I greatly appreciate good customer service in this day and age, especially when I did not end up being the customer.

Its difficult to find a tradesman like Mike these days. Hes very communicative and shows up on time. He does fantastic work and goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right.
