A lot of eye candy, so to speak, with all of the real stuffed animals, the aquarium and anything else that you can want for sports or camping, etc, to include clothes, shoes, coats, socks... you name it! Quality name brand products.... could not ask for more.

Usually find what I need, and sometimes things I don’t😁. Kids love the fish tanks and animal museum. Wish they had been able to keep the grill open. They had a good elk sandwich!!

Saw more animals here than at the zoo..lolQuality clothing along with a large variety of hunting gear..which is what we came for today. As everywhere right now they have cut back on inventory so we didnt get everything we wanted.Even so we had fun looking.

The customer service wasnt great to be such a staple in Wisconsin. I think I went in with great expectations and hardly any off the employees spoke to us. Out of maybe 10 or 15 that we crossed paths with 3 greeted us. And two of the three we actually made eye contact with to ask for help. Otherwise great store, clean and great prices. Plus the kids will love seeing all the taxidermy.

First time visiting and all I can say is WOW. From apparel, footwear, hunting, fishing, camping and absolutely more, they have all your outdoor needs covered! Prices are in line with other retailers so you can be sure you are getting a great value and aren’t overpaying. Today I came for a new fishing setup for Great Lakes trout fishing. The two gentleman that assisted me were outstanding. For a newbie or even a lifetime fisherman, the fishing section can be overwhelming. Aisles are not labeled so you have to read a lot of packages or ask for help so you aren’t looking for hours. They wound new line on my new rod (no charge for the service was even better!) while I waited and shopped the other departments. Be sure to look at all of the amazing activities (bring the kids and spend the day) such as the live aquarium, wildlife “museum”, gun library and so much more! Today I had the surprise of a man in the fish tank cleaning!

One of my favorite stores to buy anything fishing and outdoors. They have everything ya need for hunting, fishing, and just outdoor recreation. I love the giant aquariums they have too. An excellent store that I wished I lived closer to!!!

Shopped at this store numerous times for years. Never had a problem with customer service until this morning. I had called JACK in the hunting department asking about a product they have in stock before going in, when I asked, all I got was none. Very abrupt and sounding irritated. Not understanding I said, Im sorry I couldnt understand you. He then paused a few seconds then answered (more abrupt and irritated than the first time we have none and nothing else. At that point I just hung up the phone. JACK definitely needs some work on his customer service

Stopped in to purchase non-waterproof hiking boots for the summer. Saleslady Libby stopped to see if she could help, and it turns out brand/style I saw online wasnt going to work out. Salesman Sam also stopped by, and between the two of them I was fully informed on features of available boots. Thanks to these knowledgeable salespeople I was able to make the best choice in short order.

Horrible service. We stopped to look at rangefinders. The associate was helping another customer but didn’t bother to acknowledge we were standing there or greet us. Then closed the case and walked away while we were still waiting to be helped and look at rangefinders…. Seriously? We were going to also look at hunting apparel too but decided we would not spend money here if that is the level of service provided for high-end equipment. Happened Sunday morning, 9-5 at 11:25 am. We will shop local instead. Will not be back.

I down know if it is all supply chain issues, or if Bass Pro, has killed Cabelss. In the fishing section, rods - brands, choices, quality, all seem to be missing. Not sure if I wasnt looking in the right spot, but always felt the Cabelas rods were really quality, couldnt find any. I know there are issues with getting ammo, but the selection and amount was laughable. Fleet Farm had more. Seems that with purchase by Bass Pro, has just made Cabelas a clothing store (not even with a focus on hunting clothing) chain store, that has a fish tank, and some wildlife mounts.

A gentleman by the name of Jack was very polite, patient, and took the time to help me picking out and teaching me the difference between binoculars. He also helped me with the accessories I needed. He was able to answer any questions I could think of. I will definitely be returning in the future for any other sporting goods I need.

Bought the largest (blue) portable wind shelter to take to beach on July 4th. Tried a few times to set up but unsuccessful. Reasons were beach sand kept releasing anchors due to wind too strong for 2 people to hold tent upright and in ground. If you dont have firm footing with stronger anchors than what comes with tent, will be difficult for 2 people to set up. We were disappointed couldnt use that day. Plan to do dry run set up at home before use again!

Whats not to love? Its a dream come true. My boyfriend loves the shopping, while I always enjoy looking at the fish, and the displays. Its an extra bonus that there are always dogs in there. Great place to keep your man busy for a while, while a woman can still browse around. They have some household stuff upstairs, even some condiments and candy. Literally something for the whole family.

I went to this location so that my brother (over 21) could gift me a handgun; which is completely legal under the atf. My brother told them it was a gift for me. And they refused to sell the handgun because im under 21 but over 18. In Wisconsin open carry is allowed for people over the age of 18, People without felonies, domestic violence records, and not mentally ill. I do not fall into any of those categories. I told them this and they refused to sell the firearm because im too young to possess a handgun. I seriously doubt that they are not informed about Wisconsin law as they work in the firearms department all day. The way employees stared at me made me very uncomfortable. I believe this was a case racial profiling. I may be wrong but I seriously doubt it.

Excellent place for all of your hunting, fishing and outdoor needs. A great family place to take the kids for a FREE picture with Santa. They also have a kids birthday party option that is very affordable and fun for the little ones. They teach you about the animals, take you for a tour and you get to feed the fish in the aquarium.

Looking for coolers and Brian helped us out. He was very personable and gave great advice. Went for a Yeti Roadie and a 40 qt Orca. We had $600 in $25 gift cards and Samuel took care of us in a quick and friendly way.

Drove an hour there today, to buy a grill/smoker. I had verified they had them in stock. When I arrived the guy in the grills area told me there were none available and I could not buy floor model. I left and called customer service- customer service called me back a couple hours later and said they have them there and physically verified they have them, but unwilling to do anything about the hours of time I wasted already due to their incompetence…

Cabelas is a sportsmans paradise. They have just about anything you could want. Friendly service and a fun place to take the kids.

Didnt have 9mm or .223 before or after pandemic. All prices online have been dropping and they still had empty shelves, its June 8 2020. Only had one kind of .223 that was over 1.20 around! Charging MSRP for used guns. Maybe Ill go back when I feel like wasting my money.

Went in to learn and purchase a possible boat, bow and binoculars. Didnt get much help. The one person at the binoculars booth walked away mid conversation.No boats really on display. No one asked to help.Bow station the folks made you expect to know what you were looking for.Very disappointed as I was looking to spend thousands and I wasnt treated like a valued customer except to fill out a raffle.

Cabelas is always a great visit. We enjoyed the huge collection and exhibit of wildlife from mountain lions to polar bears, elephant to lions. The aquarium was excellent viewing from largemouth bass to rainbow trout.

Knowledgeable staff. Great place to take certain classes.

Been shopping here for quite some time. Pros and cons with selection and price but one thing I only recently came to appreciate is the service. Had a couple of minor issues with an item I purchased and had them repaired by the archery department on the spot while I waited on two separate occasions. Courteous and knowledgeable. Terrible place to work! Ex-employees have told me about the constant reminders to bombard customers with pressure to apply for a Cabelas credit card from the moment they walk in the door. And good luck collecting workers comp or UC if you are injured or fired!And their prices are as high or higher than most other retailers. I shop there only to see merch and then pay less somewhere else.

I love this store. The taxidermy museum is simply amazing. And the aquarium is very cool too. I love how they featured fish that you are actually fishing for! Trout, bluegill, muskies, etc. VERY COOL! Lots of neat stuff to buy. Also, when I went everyone was wearing masks so I disagree with the reviewer who said conversely. This store is a great place to visit to get excited about hunting and fishing which are great outdoor sports!

When this store first opened up, I used to go at least once a month since I only lived about 15 minutes away. After they were bought out by bass pro, everything just went downhill. Shelves are barely stocked. Even online, when an item is on sale or on clearance, its always not in stock. The bargain cave used to have decent merchandise (reels, optics, airguns, bows, tackle), now it just looks like a goodwill full of clothes. I only go there to get live bait now, in and out.

Went around 7pm on a Friday, it was very quiet and that was nice. The kids really enjoyed the fish and all the stuffed animals.

Went in to buy a pistol and the guy helping me was knowledgeable and courteous but the rest of the gun counter staff were rude and short with me. Poor customer service and from what Im reading in the comments Im not the only one experiencing this.

This is not just a sporting goods store, its a Destination. They have a huge area for taxidermy, showing an enormous variety of animals in realistic settings. They have restaurants, and food. Its Huge, and everywhere you look, there is something to discover.Unfortunately, the gun counter here is always slammed. So pull a number first thing, and be patient. As a note, if youre looking for powder, primers, or other non gun items behind the counter, you dont have to wait, just ask one of the clerks.

I had a bad experience dealing with Cabelas in Richfield. I called to purchase a tent. The clerk assured me they had what I was looking for when in fact he didnt have it at all. Anyway believing the Clerk I had my friend stop buy to pick up the tent I believed to be there only to find out I was misled by the sales representative. I ended up having to purchasing it online instead. I wont be dealing with Cabelas in the future.

Could not find anyone to help me in archery. I headed for the door thinking I will never go back to camels. Then a sales person tells me they cant find people to work. I hope our government stops paying people not to work.

Omg this place is huge. Tons of fishing hunting archery guns and camping gear. It also has live fish in aquarium and taxidermied animals so its like a museum. Sells roasted nuts (mindful if allergic), candy, camping food, and fudge.

Love this place, less though that it is part of Bass pro shops as some quality has suffered. I miss the old Cabelas.

Decided to go to beach tomorrow on July 4th. Went to Cabelas to buy shelter. Its the kind with one open side. Found it and last one of the larger ones! Can fit 2 chairs & other items, including blanket to lay down inside.

Went here because I had bought a bow online from them and needed to get it tuned as I have never shot one before. Ben was great helping me learn how to use my bow and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great service!
