The health care team of Bright Sky was absolutely wonderful. They made the difficult process of hospice easier for my grandmother. In addition, they provided tremendous care, comfort, and support not only for my grandmother, but for our family too. I would recommend Bright Sky to friends and family who have loved ones in need of hospice care.Lastly, the owner, Eleanor Posner, truly has a passion to help those in need. It was heart warming and comforting to know that people like her exist in this world.

Bright Sky was able to help my Grandmother ease into the process of Hospice care. The nurses and staff truly reflect their love for people in their care. I highly recommend Bright Sky for anyone who is seeking to have themselves or their loved ones treated with the upmost respect and care.

A hospice facility should have basic knowledge on how to care for a patient. Bright Sky Hospice sent a nurse to the hospital to assist with the discharge process with my mother, since she required a PCA pump. I was under the impression that it would be a smooth transition. From the moment nurse L arrived I had an uneasy feeling, but I assumed it was just due to the situation in general. The hospice nurse did not know how to attach the PCA pump, nor did she know how it worked. For 2.5 hours this nurse proceeded to speak loudly on her cell phone in my mothers hospital room, while talking to the hospice pharmacy trying to figure things out. She did not know what she was doing at all. The transport arrived and this women was still trying to figure things out. Mean while my mother is becoming more and more anxious and is getting very upset. At this point I said enough is enough and told her to leave and we would find another company. BRIGHT SKY HOSPICE- NOT SO BRIGHT.

Our family had to make one of the toughest decisions anyone can make on my mothers illness. I had been with a couple of hospices with my in-laws and I was happy with one of the two. Years passed and Bright Sky was recommended to us by someone my dad knew.We had Elenor come to my parents home and the interview was done professionally, but you could feel her personal touch, wanting to know what were our expectations and how their company helps to make our tough transition seamless. The company has placed professional people from nurses, CNAs, doctors, pharmacy deliveries and even the priest that they sent was a perfect match for our family. They all have made our life easier to face the daily challenges that come with someone with Alzheimers. The deterioration of a loved one that at times can be grueling and you dont know how it all will end. Elenor and her team call us to make sure each situation has been resolved and not only the patient but the family that deals with the pain, like my father that at 85 years old its been hard for him to see my mom this way.The other thing that I love about this company is that they do the right thing with each issue that comes up. Looking out to make sure the situation can be taken care of in the right manner no matter what. I also found out that Elenor is the actual owner. WOW that says alot.I know there are many good companies out there and Im glad that people are being taken care of. This is very important for families dealing with the final days, months or years of a loved one, but for our family its important to make a testimony of a company that cares and shows professionalism every single day. I stand for what Im stating and hope that anyone needing this type of service finds the same thing. Knowing that when its all over we did the right thing. I recommend this company.

Bright Sky hospice in my eyes doesnt deserve even one star. My grandmother who is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer was supposed to come home on hospice tonight. The hospice nurse who met us at the hospital had no clue what she was doing. My grandmother was being sent home with a PCA pump and it took this woman two and a half hours if not more to figure things out... She never figured it out better yet. When Transportation arrived she was still working on the PCA which in the beginning she didnt know that the PCA didnt have a battery. She spoke on the phone with the pharmacist loudly in my grandmothers Hospital room. To me this was very rude and uncompassionate. As my family is already going through a difficult time we have to leave my grandmother in the hospital for another day until we find a new hospice facility, but honestly the hospital was probably a better place for her to be tonight then at home with the equipment that the hospice nurse had no clue how to use or how to set up.

The Bright Sky team was such an enjoyable experience. They provided loving support and care for my mother-in-law. They made this difficult hospice process so much easier and removed much of the worry we had after my mother-in-law passed away. If you have a loved one in need of hospice care, please feel free to contact Bright Sky.
