I usually do not write bad reviews, but the situation I went through here was unacceptable. My 7 year old son fell and hit his face causing trauma to his teeth and gums. I booked the earliest appointment which was a week from now with this dentist office(that he has been seen at for the last 3-4 years). I explained to them what had happened and that his gums were swollen, his top two permanent front teeth were sensitive and a little wiggly, and his bottom front tooth was chipped. The office called me and put me on hold a couple times while relaying what happened to the Dentist. Without even asking for a picture of the trauma or seeing my son in person the dentist wanted to prescribe an antibiotic that my 7 year old son would have to take for a week. The office assistant said once the antibiotic is done then call back to make another appointment. I asked the assistant why would the dentist prescribe an antibiotic without even seeing my son or picture first? The response was short and she said that’s what the dentist decided. So I asked well if my son takes this antibiotic for a week the appointment I made would be the day after the last dose, so why can’t he be seen that day with the appointment I had already made. She said that we would have to reschedule after calling to let them know how the antibiotic worked. She then hung up on me. Not even one minute later I received a text saying my appointment was canceled. I don’t understand how a dentist can just prescribe an antibiotic to fix actual trauma without seeing the patient. I called another dentist office and even though they had never seen my son as a patient before they made sure to get him in same day to be seen and treated. Definitely will never return to this dentist.
