I love this place! My prior doctor closed his practice abruptly and I feel so lucky that he referred me over and I am now seeing Jen Briner FNP . She is a great person and really cares about her patients. I can’t tell you how fortunate I feel to have landed in Jen’s practice.

If you want to be seen by the best in the area go to a clinic that has a great deal of healthcare workers going there! That says something in itself. Yes, they are tied to SRMC, but the workers that go there stay there for a reason. Dr. Martinez and other providers make you feel listened to, welcome in the practice, and staff is always warm and friendly. They’re doing something right. Give them a shot.

A horrific experience in the ER. So bad that by the time I left, 8 hours later, I was crying. I had gone because of my concussion or possibly Spinal FluidLeak. I was interviewed by someone I was told was a doctor but he wasnt. He was a physicians assistant. In fact, the whole day I was there, I never saw a doctor, Nobody talked with me about my symptoms. I never got a diagnosis, prognosis, treatment or treatment recommendations for when I got home. I waited hour upon hour for help or at least information. My symptoms (vertigo, pain, brain fog) were so upsetting but nobody cared.

I used to see Dana Harbuck, who I liked very much. Then she left. I see a new person now. Shes the reason why my rating is so low. The only reason it has two stars is because reception is always very nice and helpful. They are great. However, my new NP is not. She put a diagnosis on my chart that cant be proven unless bloodwork is done, which it hasnt been recently, and my last bloodwork from two years ago showed the opposite of the diagnosis she added to my chart today. She also added another incorrect diagnosis. She didnt tell me about either of them, and if they were accurate, they are the kind of diagnosis that would be important for me to know about. Im concerned that the incorrect diagnosis will affect my insurance premiums if I cant get them removed. She is making assumptions which is dangerous. In addition, today was my second visit with her, and she didnt address anything I actually came in for. She also keeps arguing about the process of refills at the pharmacy, when Ive spoken to the pharmacy several times and theyve told me their process. There were a number of other things she was invalidating about or did not bother addressing.

This place is great! I didnt have to wait in the waiting room, Jen (my practitioner) was very friendly and clearly cared about my health concerns. Appointments are easy to come by, and this is clearly a tightly run ship.

Dont do it. This places is the absolute worst. I mean you think Im joking, give it a shot and waste your money. Its almost worth the copay just to witness how awful this place is... almost like going to a haunted house. Fun but in a grim way.

I have been a patient there for over 4 years. The best caring doctors and nurses in the entire area. They really care about their patients and want whats best for them. I see Dr. Martinez and Dr. Orna Gil. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a PCP. I dont believe the bad reviews that others have posted. I have never had a bad experience with anyone in the office ever.

Regarding Dr. Gill. When relying how the week went but that my pain was getting better she didn’t apologize once she just said “oh well, guess we won’t need to prescribe you that.” I said I agree but because it comes in waves maybe we can prescribe a stronger extra strength ibuprofen to help. Not an opioid at all. She said I see no reason you can’t just go into the drug store and get the over the counter meds. I said yes but they are not as strong and after what I went through this past week and all the sleepless nights it’s not much to ask. She stated “if you could not sleep you should of just gone to the ER if you in that much pain”. As true as it might been she again did not apologize and would rather have me sit in Covid environment at the hospital for hours in pain rather than have done her job to help with my pain two weeks after surgery. I did not say that or speak disrespectfully. So when I answer “next time I will use the ER but I again feel after what I went through this week and how everything was made a mess it’s fair to ask for this prescription.” She shot up, started walking out and stated “fine whatever you want, see you in one month” then closing the door to leave she paused and said coldly “have a good day”. She didn’t check my wounds to see how they were healing. She never asked if I had addition concerns or questions about my wounds or healing which I did have. It was so unprofessional, short and rude. We met for less than 5 minutes. My husband and sister, who were with me looked at me in shock, stating I said everything so nicely but clear yet she was externally unapologetic and defensive. My husband stated that her prideful attitude in not being able to admit when she make a mistake like that with a patient was shocking. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. Lastly I had this surgery two years ago as well. She did not use the same scars and incision marks as before to reduce additional scarring but instead carelessly made 4 fresh new incisions in my stomach. So now I’ll have 7 scars on my stomach. The last doctor only made 3 incisions. The only reason I didn’t return to him is I do not have the same insurance. Once again this doctor will not be responsible to help you once your surgery is done. She is prideful and cold. Please consider someone else with your own body so you never have to go through what I did. I hope this will help spare some of you reading this and help your journey with another doctor go smoothly.

I normally have had fantastic experiences with my healthcare seeing Dana. This last appointment however, I was seen by someone new. They did not introduce themself, they were rude and quite condescending. They did not even do an exam, or begin to try and listen to what I was saying. I’ve worked in healthcare, in critical care for over 20 years, and was so disappointed. Dr. Martinez is a wonderful man, who took excellent care of my family members for years, and I don’t believe he would approve how I was treated. I was also made feel like I had a timer running, and that I was not on this individual’s priority list. I believe Shasta Regional Medical Group as a whole is great, this individual just needs to get with the program and treat people with respect, and not assume they know nothing about healthcare.

Dr. Dillon is an expert family physician. she is very well liked by her patients & extremely thorough looking at all aspects of the big picture. She spends all the time needed to help you. Of course as in all family practice groups you have to wait sometime to see her.

Dont bother with this place. Patients are treated like criminals (bring your pill bottles every visit, even uncontrolled substances, pee tests regularly, drop you as a patient if they see fit (vs. First Do No Harm).Additionally, every time I went for an appointment, I was 10 minutes early (as is courteous), and waited well past an hour of my appointment time. This is cafeteria-style medicine - Id keep looking

This place is amazing. I see Dana Harbuck FNP and Dr. Gil GYN. I would be delighted to see any of the providers here and trust all of them with my care. I really love the time and effort they put into my care. I would recommend this place to anyone. The entire staff seems happy and always helpful.
