Dr Nowak is the best but had a Major problem with billing they seem to think they run Shasta Orthopedic I was due a refund and it took 5 weeks and 6 trips up there intell I received it

I think hes great at performing surgery. But bedside manner I never saw him after surgery. He never came to check on me and now I’m here a week later at wound care and of course he’s either in surgery or gets off early on a Friday. In my 14 years in the nursing field myself in Sonoma County. And got snapped at by a few nurses. And several actually agreed with me as in Sonoma County 6 years ago I had surgery there and surgeon was there when I woke up and he checked on me in the hospital and his assistant called every evening to see how I was doing. So I don’t understand the fact I have to call them for an appointment to check my wounds. So we’ll see how it goes once I do their job and call them to be seen remember this is after a surgery. So to me it’s a serious issue.Like I said the brief two times I saw him and he was a nice person. So by no means is to detract from the fact he is a great surgeon and person. They just need to be attentive to the patients after surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Nowak with a recommendation of my primary care doctor. I waited months to get in. Once I arrived and in the room a young man informed me I would not be seeing the doctor instead I’d be seeing him the doctors assistant. A X-ray was taken and he returned to the room telling me I needed surgery and what he would be doing? If I wasn’t ok with him doing surgery there was nothing he had to offer me. I was shocked and not aware a assistant could preform surgeries so I asked you are the one that would do the surgery? He said, “yes”. After I talked it over with several medical professionals I decided to not return. It’s a shame the doctor is so busy he can’t see his patients. It’s like me sending a assistant to come in and represent me and my issues and expect him to give a accurate diagnosis.

I met Dr when he interrupted my anesthesiologist the day of my surgery. Follow up was incomplete. I have a severed ligament that is untreated and tendons remain shredded. Seeking another physician.

He gave surgery and im healing but were good and he drew a smiley face on my foot before surgery

I want to say a really special thank you to Dr Nowak for fixing my right foot. After years of struggling with problems with my right foot. I finally found a Amazing Foot and Ankle Surgeon who had a major impact on my Life. He is a excellent foot surgeon and has a excellent bedside manner. He is extremely knowledgeable and really kind.

Doctor Nowak operated on my wifes right foot for a collapsed arch in October 2019.He did an excellent job on the surgery with little scaring after surgery. The fused bones took three months to completely heal and then physical therapy.The final results turned out excellent and my wife is very happy with the results.We cant say enough good things about doctor Nowak. He is an excellent surgeon and has a great bedside manner and personality.He explained things well and followed up several times after surgery.I would give him six stars if I could.

I had major surgery on my Left Foot. The main tendon behind my Big Toe was deforming and pulling on on it to make it skin to skin which means no cushion. Dr. Nowak did the Surgery and explained in detail the ups and downs of surgery recovery. Too early to tell, but all signs are great so far. He is a specialist that will take time out to explain how the performance should go. So in my Opinion: Dr. Nowak is the consummate professional. I would recommend this Great Doctor to anyone with Serious Foot Issues.Then God takes over.

Sorry to say but I had a horrible experience with Dr. Nowak. He did surgery on me and completely butchered my left foot. I am in more pain now than I was prior to the surgery. Worst of all, he never followed up with me after my surgery. I was scheduled to see a PA for each follow up visit. No me of my concerns were addressed. I am very unhappy with this Doctor.

He and Jenny Olds FMP are Top Notch. I would recommend them to anyone. My 19 yr old daughters foot came out AMAZING you can’t even see a scar so impressed. Bed side manner is out of this world u really can’t fine genuine anymore but this office has it. A++++

I just had foot surgery last week and the surgery went excellent!! 2 days after surgery I had almost no pain in the surgery site without even a pain pill. Dr Nowak is amazing at explaining what he was going to do and took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do. One of the best bed side manners of any Dr. I have dealt with. At my appointments leading up to and surgery I saw him before the scheduled time which is unusually for a surgeon. His PA Jenny Olds is top notch as well. If you need a Great foot Dr see Dr Nowak you will not be disappointed.

Had Posterior Tibialis Tendon Surgeryon right foot due to a severed tendon in a silly accident. Dr Nowak did excellent job. photo is 8 months after surgery.

Dr. Nowak and his staff are the best. I couldnt be happier with my results. I never waited more than 10 minutes.
