My appointment was for one skin problem. At reception I added another. James Pratt, who I have seen before, recognized my problem immediately and froze the lession. He saw another lession that I had forgotten about and froze that too. Then on to the problem I added. He called it a basal cell and excised it for pathology. I mentioned that I was due back in a few months for a recheck of a squamous cell removal. He checked it, said it was fine and cancelled the visit. Everyone was relaxed and friendly. I went on for one problem and got treated for four. I was out in 15 minutes.

This business has the most unfriendly customer policies Ive ever experienced. I was billed for a missed appointment that I thought I had canceled months in advance, as I knew I wouldnt be in town. While its possible I intended to cancel and forgot, I never received a reminder about the appointment. When I disputed the charge, I was told a reminder call had been made. I offered to send them my phone log which shows I never received a call, and they told me it didnt matter whether I received it or not. So, for $25, theyve lost a regular patient.

Came in 30 mins early as requested and ended up waiting over an hour in the lobby for an appointment I was never called for. When I asked what the issue was the receptionist tried to tell me my appointment was for 2:40pm even though I had a confirmation that the appointment was booked for 2pm, and I had stated my appointment time when I first arrived at 1:30. She was rude and in the end gave me a refund but never even offered to rebook me, so I guess I’m not going back. I do receptionist work at my job too, I know how it’s done, and this is not it. I waited 3 weeks for my appointment and ended up wasting my lunch sitting in a lobby with rude office workers.

I came in on 10/2/20 for treatment for a hand full of large and deep wood splinters. The care ,empathy, and concern freely given was over the top. My caregivers were Justin Blumreich and his assistant Trinity. They both patiently removed the splinters which took over an hour to do. They worked well together and were very focused and patient throughout the procedure. Their performance in my mind, more than makes up for some of the negative things you may have read about this Medical group.

Best Dr office visit ever. Staff was professional and friendly. Dr Kraffert had removed a cyst from me and was as painless as a pedicure. It blew me away how painless it was. Another thing was how organized they were. I had an appointment for 1:30 and done by 2:10. Didnt have to wait because of botched scheduling or what ever happens at pretty much every other Dr. offices I ever went to. Thanks to everyone at Redding Derm for making my procedure there so comfortable. I will only go here from now on for my Dermatology needs.

Doctor Peter Eichwald, NP was very friendly and nice to me and that was all it was, Cost me $400 each visit for him to be nice to me.( I visited three times) First visit was consultation, cost me $40 in copay. two surgeries later, $80 in copay, and I still have my plantar wart, now looking for a new doctor. They billed my insurance $400 for each visit, what a ripped off! So disappointed! Ive considered going back on my 4th visit but after realizing Peter could have rid my wart the first visit, as he promised. DFUCK this place! Why are doctors today milking health insurance. I no longer have faithful in doctors anymore.

The people at the front desk are rude, they talk behind your back even when you’re in the same room and they’re talking to where everyone in the room can here them. Which is very rude and unprofessional. The front desk people don’t know what they are talking about. They don’t know what the difference between a Co-Pay and the Deductable is. We left, and we are never coming back thanks to the front desk people. I don’t go to a place who has rude people like that working there, I’m sorry for the dermatologist doctor because I remember him being a good doctor. But the front desk people is the reason why we are never going back there, I don’t appreciate someone talking to me and my parent like that. Bye Redding Dermatology!

I have had horrible experiences here. I went twice within the matter of year because he will not listen to what you are saying. He is very arrogant and does not really care about your issues. Had to wait in the lobby for over an hour and 45 when I had an appointment scheduled. Still have unresolved issues as he brushes them off. A close friend also had issues where she had to call 5 times for them to send a prescription. Extremely disappointing and will never recommend going there to anyone.

Dr. Kraffert is a phenomenal dermatologist. He recognized my fathers numerous areas of skin cancer and came up with a game plan. We have seen doctors from Sacramento to Redding who seemed more concerned about maximizing profit and less about his pain and quality of life. The procedures started off very conservative, but realized we needed to be a little more aggressive. Its only been a few months and we are getting on top of my fathers skin cancer issues. Due to an underlying illness, this will be ongoing, but i have all confidence in Dr. Krafferts (and staff) abililty to stay on top of this situation and keep my father as comfortable as he has been.Thank you Dr. Kraffert and staff!

Lindsay Miller is AMAZING!!!!!!. I have had a mole on my chin for the last 6 years and it just kept getting bigger. I went into to see what they could do and she said lets take it off today. In 5 minutes she was done and I felt no pain and she was so friendly. I will definitely refer Redding Dermatology to friends and family.

Went here 4 times total to treat the same exact simple wart on my finger over a ~2 Year period. Each time, the doctor cut/scooped out the wart after injecting a local antiesthetic. And after the treatment, failed to kill the root of the wart each of the 4 times, even after having been asked by myself to try different and/or more effective techniques my last two treatments. Trying the same treatment 4 times over when the results were negative each time seems sub par. I still have the wart and am going elsewhere.

There is no other way to describe my recent visit to Redding Dermatology, other than to be completely candid and honest. My experience with one of the relatively new assistants could not have been more uncomfortable, awkward, unpleasant, and unprofessional. A complete assessment was not done, there was a certain arrogance in demeanor and consequently absolutely no rapport. My visit was hurried and I could have easily left with an undetected skin cancer due to the failure to thoroughly examine. Not long ago, a friend of mine visited a doctor twice complaining about what appeared to be a growth on her forehead. Twice she was told it was nothing. On a third visit to another doctor, cancer was detected and by this time she required invasive surgery and disfigurement. The casual manner in which I was not thoroughly examined refreshed my memory of what my friend went through, so unnecessarily. I suspect hiring qualified personnel in this geographic location is a challenge, but I would go so far as to say that the assistant I met with was a very poor choice. I will let management figure who that might be.

Dr Kraffert and his staff have always been professional, courteous and efficient. Wait times are short and treatments are direct and to the point. I drive 45 miles to get to Redding Derm and I dont regret a single mile of the trip. Treatment options are always presented with pros and cons of each discussed until I was satisfied. I have never felt rushed in this office.

Lyndsay Miller is AMAZING! We were taking our daughter to Stanford in Palo Alto every week, but they were unable to help her at all. We went to see Lyndsay and she helped us right away. Stanford could not figure out what was wrong (at one point they told us she had a brain tumor), but Lyndsay took a look, explained to us what she thought the problem was, and then prescribed medication for it. We saw results overnight. We were losing hope after surgery 3 times at Stanford, and then we went to Lyndsay. She literally saved us! Our daughter absolutely loves Lyndsay!

I saw Dr. Kraffert just before the election 11/16. He was rude, vicious really. He berated me for being a liberal. Reamed me for not believing Trump was the answer to this countrys problems. Accused me of being stoned which explained my views. And worse. I know a relative of one of his employees who says he is an overbearing jerk with most of his employees, which is in line with his incredibly unprofessional attacks on me. I will never go back.

I see Lindsey at the Red Bluff location. This is now the second month that I have had to pay out of pocket hundreds of dollars for a rx that would be covered by medi-cal if her office would respond to requests for documentation by the pharmacy. Each time I call and leave messages for her assistant Collette and she never calls back. The receptionist is rude and obviously doesnt care about my situation. Very frustrating to needlessly pay hundreds of dollars that I dont have lying around.

We sat in the waiting room for an hour with no acknowledgement. I think they forgot we were there. When we approached the receptionist she said, Well technically were only 25 minutes behind because you got here 30 minutes early We were told we HAD to be 30 minutes early for first time appts. She also said, Were a specialty office and this may happen. You just never no. Bad experience. We left and wont go back.

I had an appointment at Redding Derm and was treated by Craig A. Kraffert, MD. I am a redhead and have a very light complexion and over the years I have sunburned often. I have precancerous skin conditions and was given a couple of options to treat them. I chose cryotherapy, which uses liquid nitrogen to freeze and destroy abnormal cells. Dr. Kraffert was very professional and had a great sense of humor. I would recommend Redding Derm to anyone seeking top notch professional treatment.

Kind staff but they were next to useless in my situation. They sent two prescriptions to a pharmacy for me, they also sent two (supposedly) coupons . However, the first coupon was the wrong dosage and the second one wasnt sent. So I leave the pharmacy with nothing. I call the Redding dermatology and they say that its fixed and sent over. I go to the pharmacy and now only one of the prescriptions was sent so I still have to go back and pick up another prescription that they have yet to send.

First this is Joyce, Ron’s wife writing review as I guess this google account is tied to my husbands name/email address????I went to Shasta Dernatology on my physicians advice to look at a tiny, really tiny bump on my nose by my tear duct. I had an irritation there for years and an open irritation that didn’t heal. because my glasses fell right on it. So things like a skin cancer was not something I thought about. Since I had cataract surgery it has healed completely because I don’t wear glasses. But there is still a pinprick size bump and I got a referral to SD and went. I saw the PA Brian Reber. He introduced himself. He did look at me briefly before moving away. I don’t recall him using my name. I wanted to tell the above story about the lump but he brushed aside as not needed. It looked like “such and such” bump, rarely cancer but he’d remove it, test it and see if was and then remove more. I could see the nurse getting a little surgical packet together. Mind you this was my first visit and he was going to cut. I had to ask about process, bruising, stitches, etc. this thing is at the tear duct and I didn’t even have a chance to bring this up or how it would affect my eyelid appearance. When I said I couldn’t do this just yet because I had eye work with a plastic surgeon, which I loved. He said he was surprised he didn’t remove it, note: the procedure had nothing to do at that area of my eyes and I would not let him remove a possible cancer tumor anyway. I don’t think he had a concern about it. It does not look anything like any pictures I could find on the internet and it was not “a wound that never heals.” I was going to have my “after eye surgery” pics taken in a few days and stitches and brusing was not expected to be part of this. I told him that and he seriously said that maybe it could wait another month. If he had heard my above story about how long I had and how it had changed, i.e. healed he may have understood that a month delay would be okay.I definitely am going to have it removed but not here.

I had the opportunity to watch Dr. Kraffert and his nurse Brenda in action when they performed Mohs surgery on my boyfriend. I was so totally impressed, they did not even need to speak to eachother to know what the other one needed. They were totally in sync, and very professional. My boyfriend will have very little if any scarring on his face thanks to this team of true professionals.

Three years ago I found Dr. Kraffert and Redding Derm. I have a rare cutaneous t-cell lymphoma. It is a disease that shows up on the skin. I was red, rough, dry, raw and scaley plus I had several sores also. Dr. Kraffert saw me and suggested UVA & UVB treatment. I had already had full body radiation several years before and I got cleared up for 30 days, then it came right back. I didnt hold out much hope. Id been dealing with this for 20 years, and quite frankly, I was very depressed over it. But I did start my treatment, starting off with 3X per week. When I had built up several minutes of tolerance to the UV, I went down to 2X per week, and finally 1X per week for maintenance, which is where I am now. All my skin cleared up except for the few sores I had so Dr. sent me to have radiation on just those spots. In seven weeks the sores were also gone. I keep faithful to my once a week treatment because it made me look human again, and I dont want to ever go back to the way I was, and the way I looked. I had been to so many dermatologists and even oncologists before, but nobody could help me. Until Dr. Kraffert! I will always be grateful to Dr. Kraffert and his staff. I enjoy life now!
