My sons pediatrician is so sweet shes always great with my son. She doesnt dismiss anything. Shes very knowledgeable and seems to know a lot then just her field. Very glad we switched pediatricians. Believe her name is Dr Cary only second visit Im bad with names.

I wanted to thank Diana in Pediatrics for going above and beyond. Even though it was not her department, she helped me time after time to get in contact with the Urgent Care department. Waiting on hold for urgent care to pick up for 35 - 40 minutes every day for the last four days to get through to the doctor who saw her for her ankle. Finally after days of waiting and calling, sweet Diana helping me again, she told me they ordered an ultrasound for my daughter. It would have been nice to get a call. Thank you for all your hard work Diana!

The location on Placer st is wonderful. The staff is amazing and my kids dont mind going there which says a lot. However, the location in Shasta Lake has made me feel very unwelcome and actually they refuse to see me. I need my medication for my thyroid terribly bad and for over a month now they have refused to see as a new patient. I have filled out all the paperwork and physically gone down there 3 times (not to mention the dozen times I have called them) to try and schedule an appointment and because my previous doctor wont send my records, they are refusing to see me. Im actually at a loss of what to do. And I have explained my immense need to see a doctor and get back on my medication but they wont help me.

I have loved my experiences at SCHC. Im grateful for good care, for practitioners who take the time to listen and who are present with me. They have helped me dramatically through the most intense health season of my life. I know they are for me, and that is priceless.

Taylor Cardoza, NP was very thorough and explained everything very well during the visit. I highly recommend her! The other staff were also very welcoming. I had a great visit even though I was stressed at the time because of how I was feeling.

Dr. Kamal Iftikhar has by far been one of the kindest Doctors I have met with while attending Shasta Community health center as a patient. Extremely helpful and listens to your concerns with care. I didn’t catch the name of his fellow colleague but I believe he was a resident? He was also very helpful and actually seemed as if he wanted to get to the root of my issue. Very thankful for these two!

Been waiting on the phone to talk to someone for an hour. I cant review the services because I cant talk to anyone to get in here. This is my primary care provider. I urgently need to see a medical professional but nobody is answering the phone. I am now changing my primary provider back to what it was previously. Nice (never) knowing you.

They are extremely nice to my family and happy to not only care for us, but also answer any questions we have in a way that everyone understands.

Shasta Community is user friendly. They take the time to hear the issue and get me seen as soon as possible. they are kind and compassionate when caring for my son who has significant disabilities.

The staff here are uniformly terrific! Cannot say enough good stuff about them. New to this area and have been looking for a new medical care provider. Shasta Comm fills the bill nicely. Could not ask for more. Highly recommended! Thoma is the best!

I asked the doctor to give me an allergy test. I explain I’m becoming allergic to every food out there. I’ve been living off of rice, bananas, and avocados. I also explained I got really bad vertigo going on.My dog has better treatment at his veterinarian clinic.

Efficient (at least in times of coronavirus when i assume they try to do more appointments remotely) and friendly staff.

Went there to get a covid test because I was feeling unwell, Was told to go to triage, Was refused entry by triage and told to go make an appointment, Was refused entry into the main building and told to go back to triage, Struggled to get a covid test at triage, Their excuse for not wanting to test me was We have a limited number of testsThey reluctantly agreed to test me,After all the confusion, Struggling stress and wasted time, My test came back Positive!Do better SCHC.

I dont get sick often, but was so grateful for the urgent care services! The doctor and scribe were so nice and helpful and took care of my needs. The process for getting into the clinic itself is so thorough and safe in taking care of patients and staff! So glad to be a patient here again!💜

Its clean and orderly. People are super friendly. I feel really safe leaving my bike locked out front as well.I wish someone asked whether or not I would want to have a scribe and a trainee physician to accompany the person I am trying to see. That seems to stand out as something that I feel requires my expressed permission.

Super unprofessional and rude staff. I had an appointment in urgent care (that I had to wait 2 months for by the way) and I was waiting in the lobby for over an hour. then after an hour and a half had passed, the lady at the front desk told me I was in the wrong department and that I had missed my appointment. meanwhile they literally TOLD me to go to urgent care. I have mental health issues and now I cant see my doctor for another two months because of the unprofessionalism here. thank you shasta community health center for caring about your patients wellbeing!

Amazing front desk people! Kelly is exceptional and the MA Joshua was wonderful. Then I was seen by NP Pam, who was awesome as well, but not having seen an injury as bad as mine, she was humble enough to ask Dr Evan’s to assist, and they were all just so doggone great! Thank you!

Went to the urgent care for persistant stomach issue, ended up being tested for covid and recieving no help at all with my actual problem. Pretty much just got a, wait 2 weeks and come back. I just pray its not a kidney infection like the last time 😔 when i literally gave them a bloody urine sample and still was turned away. God bless everyone

I have had an excellent experience with Shasta Community Health Center. Each staff person has treated me with friendly, and courteous service.I know from years of experience not all medical providers deserve great reviews.I was quite fortunate in receiving the Doctor that I have. He listens to my concerns patiently, and treats me with dignity. My Doctor is thorough in all referrals, and never belittles my concerns. Before coming to Shasta County I had Kaiser Permanente coverage. I can honestly say that that the medical treatment on every level has been superior at this small Community clinic. Wait times for specialists can be lengthy, but other than that I am more comfortable here than with Kaiser.

Everyone was very kind and helpful and the doctor was wonderful. The only negative was that I had to wait about an hour and a half to be seen, and there were only a couple people in the waiting room with me who were seen rather quickly. Good thing I wasn’t in a particular hurry!

I came in for a visit for an earache and was seen almost immediately. Everyone was kind and attentive and made sure I was well take care of during my visit. Its incredibly clean and well maintained. So thankful to have this in the area!

I am so happy having Breanna Lazar as my Doctor. She is so easy and fun to talk too and I believe that she in very good at what she does. Shasta Community Health Center is better because of her.

I’ve had private insurance most of my adult life and just recently found myself without private health insurance. I went to SCHC to use their sliding scale. I have received better care at SCHC than I did from my previous doctor. They seem to really care and make getting medications easy. I am beyond impressed with this place.

Their doctors are engaged, but they are not the best at continuing medications other doctors have prescribed. Maybe that is a good thing, maybe not, Im undecided on that.

My doc sent in a request for a MRI after I was in a severe car accident and we had to wait for my insurance to approve it. My insurance called me the next day (Tuesday) and got all the details from me about the accident and my injuries and then informed me that the MRI would be approved and would be sent on Friday. Friday morning @8:01am The imaging center called me to get me in for the MRI! They waited no time and were wonderful and kind!

Dr. Nelson was great with my daughters needs for a same day appointment. The front office staff was prompt and friendly. There was very little wait time for check in or waiting for the doctor to come in. Very happy with the service.

I love my doctor, Dr. Nicora, at Shasta Community Health Center in Redding, CA. She is very kind, patient and thorough. I use to see her at the clinic in Anderson, but when she moved to the Redding office, I knew I wanted to switch to that office so I could continue with her as my physician. When I was bit twice by a Lyme Tick a few years ago, she knew what it was right away and got me on the proper medication, which helped me NOT to get Lyme Disease. She is wonderful!! I am a RN(and former manager) and I expect the doctors and nurses, lab techs, and non clinical staff to do the best that they can for the patients, and I believe the clinic there has great staff...admitting, nurses, lab, etc Thank you all for your wonderful work!!

So I needed to get medical records for my girlfriend, she left many voicemails last week with no response. I am in the process of becoming her IHSS worker and have a legal dispute about her epilepsy. It took me over 3 trips and 4 hours to get these records after being told it would take a week. The supervisor says only 20 mins 1st mistake on the women at the records department. Got the medical records after 4 long and hot hours of temps at 100 I wasnt going to leave without them. They have a small sign says caution genius at work. Youd think they would know their job description, but no. From what we can tell from her test from February. They should have called her, now I dont know what participating trophys they get. for being genius but

I received prompt and curtiouse attention from the minute I walked through the doors and through my wait for my appointment time.During my appointment the doctors aid and the doctor were attentive to my questions and followed up on any health concerns I was having by immediately ordering necessary blood panels and tests to determine why my body was reacting in a way that caused me concern.I also had another appointment scheduled at SCHC that followed that one and the doctor paid close attention to the time as so I would not miss that appointment despite the backup in her scheduled appointments.This was all much appreciated by me since I use a medi-ride service and had scheduled the extra time in with them that the extra time wasnt wasted by missing and having to reschedule that appointment.Over all I am very satisfied with the staff, support staff and care that I receive at our local Shasta Community Health Center and will continue to choose their care over other Clinics.

Very unprofessional unethical treatment by Natalie Nelson MD to the patient, went in to be seen just for ear drops, was being irrigated by using hydrogen peroxide. Patient was completely okay before the visit, now by being lavaged using Hydrogen Peroxide caused severe pain right on the spot at the visit. Patient had to go back to be seen multiple times because the improper treatment caused severe pain and caused ear drum damage and affected right ear hearing.

Shasta Community always gets us right in when we arrive! I appreciate how the Doctors make an effort to connect with my children and listen to them no matter how small the detail may be! And excellent medical care as always!!

I had a bad fall. I knew something was very wrong. My hand became very swollen, bruised and painful. I went to SCHC urgent care to seek help. Every staff member, nurse, doctor, x ray tech, ortho tech treated me with kindness, compassion.Thank you SCHC for making a bad experience a little less scary. As it turns out, I have a bad fracture in my hand.and I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon.

Shasta community health center is easy to use and they have most services you need in one place. The pediatricians Dr Ponce and Dr Carter are kind and attentive. As are the pediatric nurses, I especially appreciate how fast they give immunizations and how kind they are to upset children. I’ve never had a bad experience here and will continue to use them for our general health needs.

The practitioner was great! She told me what I needed to do.. my mind felt sad! My toes and feet were always perfect!

I called them up at 8:00am was seen the same day . I did have to fill out some paper Work but that is normal.Everyone was very professional an very nice from the lady who takes your temperature at the front door. The representative who registers you. The Redding office is fast and courteous, I had really bad experiences with the Shasta lake office for many years, but the Redding office is a way better experience all around! Glad I got my health care switched to redding Shasta community health center

I was able to be seen at the Urgent Care , even though my for what I needed to be seen for i should have seen my family doctor. I showed up at 5pm and was called back after 30 minutes the desk staff and nurses were all very nice and the place looked super clean. The doctor was very kind and even helped me look up my pharmacy’s hours on their cellphone to help me. Walked out at 6pm all said and done. Very quick and professional. Highly recommend 😊👍🏻

The place was very friendly and the doctor was the best [honestly] I have ever delt with - doctors can diagnose but he went above and beyond and truly acted like he cared, he helped me very much figure out what to do with my diagnoses and if he didnt personally make those calls and reach out to me like a friend I might of died. Had to go to Urgent Care one evening. I knew I was going to get there right before a break, so itd be a little bit of a wait, about 30 minutes. Everyone was so incredibly nice and helpful. After the break, I was seen promptly during their evening clinic shift. Dr. Massatt was AMAZING! Im used to Urgent Cares and ERs ignoring my concerns and trying to rush me out of the room, but not Dr. Massatt! She was patient with me as I described my pain. She took my pain seriously, explained to me what she believes is happening in a way that I easily understood. She was very thorough with questions, and just very kind on top of it all. Kindness goes a LONG way in the medical field, and I could not be more appreciative of the way my visit went.

We love my son’s Doctor, Anderson. Totally recommend her and their staff. Everyone is very friendly and they all make you feel at home.

Im thankful I was seen urgently even without an appointment. They saw my need and I didnt have to go home worried with my health situation.

I have been going to SCHC for many years and get fairly good care from them. My issue is they tend to change my primary doctor quite often and the wait time for appointments are too long . I only go to doctor if and when I am really in need and to have to wait 2-3 months for appointment is too long when you need to see someone right away. ,That being said everyone there is friendly , caring and concerned once you do get in to see them.

Doctor Lynn is absolutely amazing. He listens and took care of me. !!!!!!BUT I had horrible experience with previous doc name Nacora . She abused her doc privileges by not being doc . I’m figuring out if I have MS or ALS or something absolutely life changing. The lady Nacora doc said nothing was wrong with me and dismissed me .. Year later I have amazing doc but I had to beg and be hospitalized before I got to change Primarycare doc to one who cared .. i had contacted here to have new doc and wasn’t treated properly. So it has improved this last year but I haven’t had apologies or anything about how awful that doc acted last year .. no ones should be told no to new doc who isn’t helping them..

Even though the wait was a little long the care I received from the staff was amazing. They listened to what I was saying was wrong and they helped me get the correct medication I needed to feel better. I’ll definitely be back there again, hopefully not soon lol.

My opinion is this:The Doctors that are finishing their training at this medical center have been very knowledgeable about the information they provide, pleasant bedside manners, and fairly attentive, at least trying to understand usI also believe that if they would listen more closely to the patients they may be better able to assist the current patients situation also provide a better referral to a more suitable medical reference....Overall, I appreciate the doctors that are dedicated, and just have natural concern, enough to continue, under these circumstances, to leave their own families to come and care for us!#SHOSUM #APPRECIATIONThank you so much🙏🏾🙏 God Bless you all!Nurses, Receptionist, Intake Clerks(not sure of their titles)

I went in on a Friday after having poison oak for two weeks. The doctor forget to send my prescription in so I had to sit all weekend with OTC stuff I’ve been using that hasn’t worked. Called again on Monday and said they would send it. I wait an hour and call the pharmacy and she still didn’t send it. I call back a third time to ask the doctor to please do her job as she should know poison oak is uncomfortable and she still hasn’t sent it. I then have a family member call again and they said they will try to do it. What a joke. Please do your jobs, this is ridiculous. Take care of your patients!

Almost everytime you call there is a 40 minute wait to get through to anyone. My son needed some paperwork faxed to further treatment for dental surgery and Ive had to call several times and have been transferred to 4 different people none of which were helpful. The surgery center has contacted them prior to my calls and faxed several papers to receive the paperwork and it has been very unsuccessful as well. I have been taking my son here for a couple of years now and after all this we will be finding a new doctor.

My doctor was very friendly. Easy to talk to and went through my hospital stay details completely.

I take my two kids and we love Dr. Ponce. She is very knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. It does take a lot of time to talk to someone on the phone and even months to get a routine appointment.

The doctors and nurses and everyone there are very kind and helpful. The place is very clean. But the thing that makes me so mad is that when one doctor starts to get to know you and whats going on with your health they go and switch doctors on you. I hate it, i hate it, i hate it. Sorry but thats how i feel. Everything else is great.
