What a wonderful clinic. All staff were extremely understanding, professional, compassionate, and non judgemental. Its tough to make decisions and so nice that there are people who are kind and help you through them. I am so thankful and glad there are places like this. Highly recommend, thank you.

I’m reading these reviews and the negative ones are blowing my mind, I don’t have a question in my mind that the people whom wrote these negative comments are by pro life activists.The women who work here are some of the most compassionate women who are supporting your choice because they care about you as a person! They are not only supportive they are private, and sanitary!They deserve 6 stars!

I did have to wait a while to see the Dr but other than that the visit went great. Staff were very nice and nonjudgmental. And the environment made me feel safe and welcome. Just dont anticipate being in and out quickly. Also just fyi they told me they only call about STI test results if they come back positive, if its negative they dont follow up.

Been seen here for past 9 years for birth control and std screening helped me stay safe in my teen years and now occasionally go to get paps done. The staff is very understanding and accommodating. Yes there can be a wait even with an appointment but that’s because many come there in time of need and you should understand they are trying to help everyone.

If you are looking them up and considering an abortion, right now you might be in a tough situation... it might seem like everything is crashing down, you have no hope for future, no one to help or hear you out. This might seem like the one and only option for you.But whoever you are and whatever situation you might be in, I can promise you that you have HOPE. Everytime I come here its a nightmare. It always takes so long. One time my bc refill didnt go through, I called and they told me my doctor died, and I had to come in to meet my new doctor before she could refill my script. I go in, wait about an hour and a half, finally go in for a lady to get my signature and take my blood pressure, then they tell me Im good to go, never met the doctor. This most recent debacle is because my doctor switched my prescription without my consent. I paid $120 for pills Im not going to use. Im going to call her today and see what she has to say about this. What kind of doctor changes a script without getting the patients consent, or even acknowledgement. Thus place is a joke. I brought my husband in with me and everyone in there acted like I was in danger, this place is not friendly to menIts a joke of a clinic.

Not a bad experience at all. Ive been to the Anderson location and the redding one and I liked them both! The staff is more then helpful and very friendly. The wait at any clinic is long but I felt like they took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I would definitely go back!

Love this place, I have never been turned away or told i need a appointment like planned parent hood which i will never go to again. The nurses and dr.s really know there stuff, very helpful and friendly!!! The wait usually isnt long the days it is are because they never turn anyone away but even if it takes a while its well worth it!!!

The nurse lady was so rude. Went in for STI testing and never got my results? I got birth control and they did so poorly explaining things to me I had to go on google and figure things out myself. Can’t stress enough how rude that woman was.

For having one doctor in the building the majority of the time, the staff is very efficient and awesome. Their services are in such high demand, youre not going to be in and out in an hour. The escorts out front on Wednesday mornings are out there rain or shine at 8 in the morning making sure the women are escorted safe and sound from their car to the building. Everyone is very friendly, and are more than happy to help you with anything. WHS ROCKS

I went for a regular checkup and it took 3 hours. Do not recommend!

They are always helpful and educational. The only problem I have with Womens Health Specialists is the wait time. Even if I have an appointment, I have to make sure I set aside at least two to three hours of my day.

For being a FREE reproductive health clinic for both men and women, you can’t really ask for more. Offering services that other places do not. Of course the wait time is longer than expected but they’re a very small office with ONE provider. They also allow walk ins in between appts which most clinics do not offer. Which is very convenient if you cannot get into your normal doctor’s office in time, or your matter is more urgent, or you just want confidentiality from your normal routine medical provider— so you go here. I’ve been to several other medical offices, with appts, and still having to pay a co-pay, with a wait time of a couple hours or longer. If you don’t want free services, go else where and pay money for your time then.

Don’t expect your appointment to be on time or even go through. Insurance plans are always changing. Last year I went in for an abortion in which they provided and I had no problems except my appointment time being 40 minutes after the time I scheduled over the phone. This year nothing has changed on my end but they asked me for 500 in cash. When I asked why the change the front desk lady said very rudly to stop getting fustrated at her and began reading my chart very loudly so others in the room can hear what I’ve done there. Talk about patient confidentiality - not- None of the payments I’ve made had been over 40 - 50 dollars and yet she demanded 500 in cash before she could check me in which is also something that should have been checked before I drove all the way in town to see them. What a waste of time.

I called early in the morning to get an appointment. I was told I can get you in at 1pm. So I go to my appointment at 10 till. At 10 till 2pm I still hadnt made a bit of progress on seeing the physician. DO NOT tell someone I can get you in at 1pm: when you really mean that you can come at 1 and then sit for a couple of hours...then we might be able to get you in. So much for wasting my entire lunch and not getting to see the physician. How LAME!!!!

Inefficient, not friendly. It is a good thing for them that they are government subsidized and that Redding has a large populace of people who cant get these services elsewhere on our limited budgets; otherwise they would be out of business. Expect a LONG WAIT for even the simplest of services, such as picking up ur birth control or condoms will be a 35 to 40 minute wait even when there are no other people in the waiting room and your paper work is up to date, seriously!!!!

Friendly, supportive and willing to do what they could to help me and gave me great advice on other services. Very grateful to have this business in my area.

Went in to see if I had an sti they never gave me results no call or anything. Turns out I did had to find out by someone I had gotten in a relationship with. Went back in to get the shot almost gave me one for the wrong sti...

Very friendly!!!! I went to planned parenthood and was told I need to make a appt. For NEXT weeknow there was 1 person waiting to be seen...I was there to get the morning after pill and it was most effective the first 3 days, so I was freaking out. Went to womens health they were so busy and many people were there with appts. They still managed to get me in took about 2 hrs but well worth the wait and went by fastt, nice friendly and educated staff!! NEVER been turned away!!!

Extremely rude workers, very slow, and super unsanitary. The entire building is filthy as well as the workers. The nurse was so unprofessional and rude, it took everything in me not to freak out. Will NOT ever go back and I definitely do NOT advise anyone to go here!

My story probably reflects the others on here. Made an apt for 8:50, by 10:40 still not seen. Staff does not care. Slow, inconsiderate, unwilling to listen, and less than friendly.

Been sitting here for 2 hours. They never gave my DL and insurance cards back. Ive had atleast 4 girls who showed up an hour after me were seen and Im still siting here no one had told me anything or that Id been seen soon and Im still siting here 2 1/2 hours later. When I showed up there was only 2 people besides me.

Very very very slow.... Was the first people here when they opened and still here 4 hours later
