I highly recommend Dr. Kapila, he is professional and caring, he listens to my concerns and is responsive and knowledgeable. I have been seeing Dr. Kapila for over two years and have always felt that I am safe, respected and valued.The team at Duke is very courteous and wait times, especially at the Brier Creek location are very short, I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes.Having a chronic condition is more manageable when you have the right team by your side, Dr. Kapila’s care allows me to focus on living a good quality of life and I feel blessed to be under his care.

Duke rheumatology and Dr. Atul Kapila do not care about patients. They told one patient that their problem is that they were overweight. Then, they turned away another patient that was one minute late checking in because the office staff sat joking and talking for 5 minutes prior to checking that patient in!!!!!!Dr. Atul Kapila is only one year out of rheumatology training and his inexperience and lack of compassion is evident.Wake Med is by far superior to Duke and wouldn’t employee inexperienced hacks like this
