Like other folks have said, the staff here are friendly and very helpful, their staff is their biggest asset! (I hope management realizes this!)This is an older gym but it is kept clean and orderly. I also notice that the lighting is darker here as well, but the environment is still good for working out. I never have to wait for equipment, there is always plenty to go around.

Huge gym with tons and tons of ultra-modern equipment. I joined recently and have never had to wait for a treadmill or exercise machine. Clean, bright, well-maintained and friendly staff, plus its open 24/7!

I love love love it! Its easy, convenient, and well ran. The staff is awesome and ready to help in anyway necessary. I am not a gym person normally, but Planet Fitness is the prefect fit for me!

Great inexpensive place to work out. Never crowded in the morning 7-10a. Staff is always friendly. Got all the basics and showers. If you’re looking for fancy and frills, this is not your place. If you want come in and get a workout and shower and get on your way, this is your place.

I was Transferred from the Cary big one ( moved here) this one Small, but it’s clean and can do the job. The front desk stuff ( Marcus) is very friendly and gave us a free chair massage while my wife was filling up the membership application. I will refer friends here! Staff here makes a real effort to be friendly & helpful to everyone. When not helping members, there is always at least one of them cleaning somewhere. New equipment is great. Im a Black Card member who has traveled to may other PFs & this is my favorite one.

I joined Planet Fitness because of the great hours, availablity of equipment and most importantly...the free fitness training. So far, Ive had a great experience at Planet Fitness and look forward to reaching my personal fitness goals.

Love this Planet Fitness location. The staff & trainers are friendly. This location is smaller than most planet fitness gyms, but I actually find it easier to get access to the machines at this location. Maybe because its usually not as crowded as other locations.

The place is small missing many equipment.staff was good. Showers need an upgrade. No dressing room after shower.

Nice space for me to get into my zone. Not crowed nor is there anyone trying to get you to add on other features. Extremely friendly employees and the members are friendly as well.. This is my gym. Theres definitely no judgement here. In fact, thats exactly what they try and prevent. The crew is all shapes and sizes, which means there isnt that awkward feeling that you are being silently judged.

Been coming here for four years now. This facility has been instrumental in keeping me fit and good to go. Great staff and a wide array of machines with sufficient weights . People are collegial and as Planet Fitness promotes... No judgment. Highly recommend.

I have never joined a gym before, this was my first time. And I can say, this is a very good place to get started! I love the fact that everyone is in their own zone when they come in, and they mean business! Sometimes seeing other people go hard in this gym makes me push myself to the fullest potential. This location is very clean. And it was so easy to join. I became a part of the gym when there were no enrollment fees if you sign up for the black card membership. I want to lose fat and be healthy, and thanks to this gym, Im on my way. Small homey setting, which is perfect for beginners. And I love the Arc Trainer! #FiveStars! One thing, I wish the hours were longer on the weekend

Smaller than your average Planet Fitness, but gets there job done. Im only there before 7am. Nice staff, place is clean.

Friendly people BUT they need to have a more considerate and honest hiring process. You interview and they gas you up into thinking you may be considered for the job. Only problem with that is they cannot choose everyone and that is 100% understandable BUT in the case that they dont choose you after talking and smiling at the interview the least they could do is send an email to let you know they chose another candidate. THAT is the professional way to handle the interview/hiring process.

I like working out here. No problems getting on weight machines. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is adding more floor mats.

This is a smaller Planet Fitness in a little strip shopping center. They dont have the aqua massage beds some larger gyms do but it tends to be less crowded with more parking and a little more laid back.

People are gross here and often do not wipe off the machines after using (but they clean them beforehand--what?!)It has lots of cardio machines, which is all I require. I would prefer a larger area for stretching, all of the meathead equipment takes up too much space! All Planet Fitness gyms seem to require bank drafts over credit card payments, which is...quite dated to say the least!

Oh my God, I dont know how to explain how happy I am to be a member there, you guys are just amazing, extremely affordable gym, free pizza every month, I love it there so far. I would recommend anybody to go try it out if youre looking for a great and safe gym to go to, planet fitness is the one.

The trainers are great. They work with you at your level. Classes are spread throughout the day.

August 1st was this Planet Fitness first day. As a result all of the equipment was shiny and new and there was a solid crowd. It was easy to find what you need to workout. Check back in six months to see how its going.

Always nickel and dime you. Can’t cancel before this day, can’t cancel after this day. I’m moving away and fulfilled my contract and they went ahead and charged me for another month so that I can have access for another month. THATS NOT WHAT CANCELING MEANS. Idiots!! My next payment isn’t due until the 17th of the month yet they still went ahead and charged me so they wouldn’t have to refund me. I’ll call corporate but these people are the worst!!!!!! If I could have rated 0, I would have!!!

The front desk personnel was welcoming and attentive, there is no waiting to grab free-weights, accessing stacked weight equipment, or cardio machines — plenty of equipment for the busyness of the gym on Memorial Day.

Apparently there are some issues that even the general manager cant resolve. Several members have complained over the years about the cleanliness of the showers, but not much has changed.Also, I can confirm that for over 2 years now at least one of the showers has been leaking water onto the floor and puddles into the dressing room. Yes, weve complained about this too, and the solution is caution wet floor.And if that wasnt enough, I reported that I was being harassed by another member, which they confirmed...and yes, mgmt welcomed her to continue coming there.Theres more, but you dont have time to read a book!

Great Place to workout. Always a machine available. Even has great stretching equipment that makes the end of the workout.... surprisingly fun. ....And I hate stretching. So A+ in my book

Terrible customer service at this location. Came in today as a first time member. Was asked my phone number, took a picture, given a tag and sent on my way. 2min interaction at most. A hi was my only greeting, and I definitely didnt receive a tour of the facility. I even had to ask how to check in. One of the most underwhelming experiences Ive ever had. A little enthusiasm goes a long way.

Great gym. I do wish the hours were longer, like maybe 24HR like some of the other Planet Fitness locations. If you use the plan that comes with the black card it has a great monthly rate. I use tis location and the one in Cary, NC, I prefer this one. I use the quick workout circuit that is located in the corral in the front of the location.

The staff is very friendly, and helpful. The place is clean, and isnt too crowded. The two negative criticisms I have are that; the lockers are too small, and they do not have free weights.

The guys I met here are really great. If you need help this is the place to go. No wonder its no judgement zone.

I moved and didn’t have a Planet Fitness near me so 2 months before my yearly renewal I sent in a certified letter to cancel my membership; not only have they not canceled my membership but they are repeatedly charging me for it. I have called numerous times to speak to someone about it and am unable to get a response back from them.

Extremely dirty gym. Avoid this dirty location and go to some other planet fitness that is clean. If you happened to be there and want to see how dirty it is then look straight up at the ceiling and you will see the dust and dirt buildup on the metals. This planet fitness location is definitely a let down and do not keep up to the standards of most planet fitness. The cable machines are extremely hard to move due to lack of lubrication. The resistance on the cables are actually not appropriate due to wear and tear. If you stand under the light long enough you can see dust particles in the air.

It is the place to be free. Enjoy yourself here as you beat your previous or just wanting a relaxing workout.

The staff is very friendly. However, there are so many guests I see who do not wipe down machines or they use their own towel over and over again without using the sanitizing spray. I have mentioned this multiple times, but I still see it happening all the time and the staff does nothing about it. And is it too much to ask to get some rowing machines?

Clean, well maintained location with friendly staff. Its never been overcrowded when I go and everyone is respectful.

Out of all the gyms this is the smallest and least busiest. The staff is nice and laid back, Marcus(I think thats his name) is nice and definitely follows policy! Some staff doesnt follow policy and does lack consistancy. It seems like sometimes you sign in, do this and that, other days you dont. The gym doesnt have all of the tanning beds just the stand ups, not bad, I do wish they had the bed with bronzing and reddening Rays. Everything is really clean except the tanning beds, it seems like most of the time people dont clean them. Today was actually the first day they appeared really clean. After working at a salon I notice those things. The parking lot always has open spaces however, it could use more lighting further back BUT, thats not the gyms fault.

I went to this gym 10/4 to sign up for a membership. When I spoke to their sale rep she told me that they have a special. I only have to pay $8 for the month of October and that I can cancel at anytime before November. I confirmed it over and over again because of my work situation I might have to leave NC and wont be able to hold on to the membership. On 10/17 I decided I dont want the membership anymore and they charge me $20 for the month of October which they did not tell me in the beginning. I wouldnt mind paying for it if I know in the beginning or I wouldnt even sign up until I find out more about my work.To the manager of Planet Fitnessbefore you put a sale rep out there, make sure they have all the information. True information! So you dont look like one of those company that just trick people into sign up for something.

I have been going to this gym for over a year and it has everything I need. I only pay $7.50 a month and I can get all the cardio and weights a man could ask for. The staff is very nice and I have never had an issue. The dumbbells only go up to 80 so if you are a big boy this might be something to think about before joining.

I called today in desperation for a gym. Ive been working out at fitness connection, which is a cash grab, and I honestly just dont feel right working out there. I dont know how to explain it. Ive heard stories of there being planet fitness in existence which tolerates bodybuilders (of which I am) so long as they arent obnoxious (yes, ill admit that some of our kind are very obnoxious). I called in search for the manager, since Ive heard theyre the ones who dictate if that planet fitness is going to be judgemental or not, and the person who answered acted like she had better things to do. When I asked for the manager, she seemed pissed off that I would even have a question that she couldnt handle herself. Ive been avidly against planet fitness for the way they treat certain people, and Ive been reminded of that today. Thank you

I went to this location yesterday and was greeted by a young lady from Michigan. I cant recall her name but she was super nice. Gave us a tour and i ended up joining. She gave me the ipad to sign up and left. I completed the sign up and waited for her to come back but after a long wait i finally asked Leda the young girl up front where the other lady had gone, she stated oh probably to the bathroom. Mind you leda was at the front desk now checking guests in. She had her cell phone out and was texting the whole time we were waiting for someone to come back and check on us. She didnt even once think to do so herself. Anyway she asked what we were doing and i said joining the gym she said she would finish up. She wasnt warm or friendly with us. She was just like stand here for your picture. Gave us a key tag and walked away. I said is that all, we dont get a shirt or thank you or anything for signing up. She was like no! I wanted to cancel right then and there just because of Ledas demeanor and unpleasantness towards us. Really not a first great impression on people just joining the gym.

I was excited to go to this gym since I moved recently and Ive been working out for 8 years in my country.The attention was terrible, this woman Maddie was rude and overactive, desperate to make us sign just to see the equipment, I need to check the place because of my back problems, and to see if they have the same machines I was using in my old gym. The three girls on the counter started laughing and staring at me while I was just trying to look around, and because of how I talked. I left the place with an anxiety episode and i dont want to go out anymore.If youre coming from another country or youre Hispanic, dont go to this place, theres racist and rude employees.

Awesome customer service most specially if Fred is around. This dude makes everyone else feels that they belong in the crowd mellinial or baby bommers alike. he should be the manager. been using this facility for almost 3yrs now.

Its a smaller location but has the basic equipment someone would need for a good combo workout. It feels a bit cramped and closed in..it has a narrow entrance and all of the equipment is at the back essentially. The lockers are only the half size ones and the shower I went into smelled a lil off. I think its in a convenient location but wish it had better amenities. It has massage chairs but not the hydromassage tables or tanning beds. Front desk staff has always been nice when I go..a few of the staff members could be a bit more knowledgeable. For me its good for quick workouts or when Im pressed for time and the hours are great considering its a smaller location. I did decide to upgrade membership so I can go to a bigger gym when I want so I dont feel so cramped and have more options without having to switch up my home gym.

I have been a PF member for about 4 yrs now with Black card membership, I started in MD. When I moved, I continued here in NC. I miss the 24 hr PF, I was accustomed to in MD. The cost and annual fee still beats any other gym I have looked into. The fact that I also have access to any PF is very convenient.

Recently upgraded equipment. Early mornings are not bad in terms of crowd.

Generally well kept, laid back crowd, always aerobic machines available, and rarely very busy.

So far on the phone, they were friendly, resourceful, pulled my application up & reviewed it immediately. I am getting deep into fitness so much that Id like to make it a career & Planet Fitness is a great place to start on the way to my own fitness path.

Great place clean... great staff, and great place to work out...

The club has rules that are clearly stated in the agreement that I signed--did you read your agreement? If you didnt, I suggest you do & make a decision if you want to abide by the rules. If you dont want to, then go somewhere else.

Tried to cancel my membership and they will only do it in person or by certified mail. This will be my second attempt to send a cancellation via certified mail because they havent received my letter yet... coincidentally my account was charged yet again for another month! Well I was a member for 3 yrs and it was great until they got rid of the traditional free weights and I mean for like bench pressing and squatting they only have smith machines which limit your movement..... very disappointed and changed gyms because of this

I joined not long ago with the understanding that there were going to be some things skimped on considering the low monthly price. However, if youre going to be a low rent kind of gym, then at the very least be CONVENIENT! The hours of this gym are absurd! Why would they assume that no one works on the weekends and may still want to work out? They close at 7pm on Sat and Sunday and 9pm on Fridays. So basically, if you work Friday-Sunday, dont plan on any gym time. When you consider how inconvenient they are 3 days of the week, it makes it that much harder to overlook the fact that they have no other cardio machines other than treadmills and ellipticals. Not even a stairmaster...what kind of gym doesnt have a stairmaster?! Or even a set of kettle bells, which is pretty BASIC equipment. Also they have a line of mirrors BEHIND the treadmills and none over in the corner where you can do standing/free weight exercises. Who the hell needs a mirror behind them while their on a treadmill? How about a mirror where I can look at my squat technique! It makes no sense. Ill just make the drive to other gyms like O2 fitness with better hours and equipment.

The people that work here at the nicest and keep the gym REALLY clean! I get a no judgment vibe from this place.

Once was enough for me to realize this is the wrong gym for me and for most people. Today, I was doing barbell rows and I was kindly told that I had been making too much noise throughout my workout setting the weights down. Seriously, I wasnt dropping them, and as most people will know, weights DO make a noise being SET down normally. For the remainder of my workout, I was too distracted to focus on my sets. Beware the gymtimidators!!! I dont mean the lunks grunting, throwing weights, or staring people down because, in the few months that I was a member, I NEVER experienced anyone doing that. By gymtimidators, I mean the purple-shirted Nazis looking for any excuse to ring their Big Brother-esque wailing, purple siren every chance they get. This gym is in CONTRADICTION with everything necessary to change ones life for the better. It encourages a culture of not pushing oneself. They reward their members with pizza, cookies, donuts, and Tootsie Rolls and have people who are unfit themselves lead fitness classes. People have a hard enough time being bombarded with McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and Bojangles without having their gym do the same. How about rewarding members with a membership upgrade or better equipment? The equipment is suboptimal compared to other gyms: their equipment is often out of balance so that you end up working out only one side of your body adequately and there is a complete paucity of squat/press racks or an area with barbells to do simple exercises like deadlifts. Look, if establishing a routine of going to the gym or maintenance exercise is your thing, then this may be your gym. If youre egocentric, believe the world revolves around you, think that people making gains even CARE about what you look like, and take pleasure in people being kept in check for trying to improve their own lives, then by all means come here. But if youre looking to transform your life and make gains, then look elsewhere. Look for a gym with people that will push you through good example and not cheap membership and magical pizza/cookies that will help you have the body/health you desire.
