Just wanted to write a quick review. Dr. Mettu is really nice and he is a great injector. I’ve been twice and do believe he will be my go to whenever I decide I need a little tweaking here and there. He lets you know how much he’s injecting and prices include a two week follow up with any concerns you may have. He’s easy to reach once you’ve made an appointment and he is DOWN TO EARTH. Big deal for me.

Simply Awesome !!! Superior communication.. wow!We have had to deal many medical issues within our family over the years, I have had to deal with many surgeons on a personal level and.... ... Pradeep and his staff are TOP NOTCH, period, end of story. Cant say enough positive about them in regards to process and results. They are by far the best we have ever dealt with over the many years of dealing with surgeries and medical issues, they totally hit a 5 star across the board!!!!!

What can I say . This is the most professional doctor I have ever dealt with . Serious about his craft and follow through throughout the entire process. effective communicator and of course very impressive work . after 1 month my eye looks great. Dr Mettu preformed a surgical procedure concerning my eye problem. He thoroughly explained the procedure, what to expect & answered all my questions. He kept in contact with me by text to make sure everything was going well. Very satisfied with his expertise & concern for his patients.

My regular optometrist referred me to Dr. Mettu because she felt he has more expertise in diagnosing and treating Grave’s Eye Disease than she does. Though I didn’t end up needing Dr. Mettu’s services for that (he did a very careful exam and ruled it out), he was able to explain to us why one of my eyes looked so much different than the other. Also, he offered cosmetic solutions to fix this. Dr.Mettu performed surgery on my right eyelid to repair a drooping eyelid, and then used a bit of Botox to make the height of my brows more even. I cannot even express how grateful I am for this doctor’s kindness, patience and expertise. I wasn’t even aware anything could be done to make my eyes look the same, because every other doctor who evaluated me had no idea what was creating that problem. I was constantly trying to make my right eye look normal with makeup, fake lashes and ineffective Botox with another doctor. Doctor Mettu is the best—a skilled surgeon and a great all-around doctor. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Mettu is the best doctor in all aspects! He is kind, caring, compassionate and an excellent surgeon. His surgical procedure for me was excellent. All my questions were answered and his team is excellent. Everyone was super professional. I have never been to a doctors office that is run so efficiently. Dr. Mettu does it all. He schedules your appointments, he sends you reminders, he is always on time and he can even help you with your insurance! Dr. Mettu has to be ranked Number one in Raleigh!

Raleigh Eye and Face Plastic Surgery worked me in same day as my GP`s referral. Dr. Mettu was more than accommodating. He was very polite and very thorough during his examination. I initially thought the questionnaire concerning detailed health history was a bit much, but he explained how several parts of my history contributed to the diagnosis. His response to my GP and another of my doctors was prompt and comprehensive, covering all aspects of what he went over with me.

Excellent care, very safe during this uncertain times with Covid 19. Very informative and willing to take all the time I needed to get my questions answered. Thankfully at this time I have no serious issues with my eyes, but I am glad I went to get a baseline since I have Graves Disease and Dr Mettu explain what I need to do to protect them. Having Graves Disease there are things I need to watch for and be aware of so this was a very important for the health of my eyes. I can not thank Dr. Mettu enough for his professionalism and his willingness to share his knowledge with me.

I had a bilateral ptosis repair with Dr. Mettu. He was so kind and patient throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond for me also. I was diagnosed with graves eye disease which caused me to have several surgeries on my left eye...my original eye dr sent me to dr mettu for a consult on my lower eyelid was sagging way down due to the diseases affect on the muscles in the eye and eyelids...this was not only not very appealing...it was causing a lot of watering of the eye and drying of the eye..dr mettu was very knowledgable on my disease and presented a game plan so to speak...he always made me feel at ease ...before and after the surgery...I could not be happier with the results of the surgery...no more drying and watering of the eye and he matched up the one eye perfectly with the other...this dr knows what he is doing and is meticulous how he goes about it I would recommend him to anyone in need of eye dr.. no more being self conscious about how it looks...thank you dr mettu for everything you have done for me

Dr. Mettu epitomizes how to practice medicine in todays world. All patient forms, billing, and direct communication with Dr. Mettu were centralized in a secure digital platform. I was able to communicate with him before and after my procedure. He is extremely responsive and transparent. His office is clean and relaxing. He communicated effectively during the entire procedure. I had two cysts that needed to be removed, one very close to my eye and on my nose. The procedure took less than an hour and I have healed nicely. Dr. Mettu followed up with me to see if I needed anything and to see how I was doing. I highly recommend him.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Mettu. I began experiencing double vision for no apparent reason just prior to Christmas while I was in NY for the holidays. I came home and Dr. Mettu agreed to see me late in the evening just prior to NY Eve. I have been under his care since that time and my eyesight has returned to normal. Between late December and June, I saw him multiple times. In each instance, he took the time to be methodical, understand my symptoms, and other relevant information. Most importantly, he took the time to listen. I would highly recommend Dr. Mettu. As his patient, I not only took comfort in his medical expertise, but also his willingness to listen, be emphathetic and to be kind.

I had a small surgery on my eyelid. The doctor Pradeep Mettu is incredibly attentive, polite and professional. The operation at Raleigh Eye and Face Plastic Surgery was unplanned, kind of urgent. However, after discussing types of facial plastic surgeries with a doctor, I plan to come to this center for plastic surgery, regardless I planned to go to another center. An impressively positive experience of medical service.

Dr Mettu saved my eye after being diagnosed with Basal Cell Cancer of my upper eyelid. After performing Eyelid reconstruction , my eyelid is cancer free and looks amazing! Friends and family are amazed of my results , they can’t tell which eyelid I even had surgery on! Dr Mettu is awesome!

From the minute I met Dr. Mettu in UNC emergency, I knew I was in good hands. I had received a very traumatic dog bite to my left cheek and eyelid. He put me at ease immediately with his calm demeanor and jokes. After seeing photos ( months after) of the damage done to my eye, I was absolutely amazed at how perfectly he was able to repair my eyelid which had a large square chunk missing from the lower part of the top lid. I am incredibly satisfied from my recent visits to Dr. Mettu. All too often, I find doctors are dismissive, dont take the time to actually know you, and dont have the time to listen to your concerns. Dr. Mettu is the exact opposite of this. He really took the time to listen to me and understand where I was coming from with my concerns. He is easily reachable on email and cell phone- a greatly appreciated luxury in todays healthcare system. However minor my concern was, Dr. Mettu immediately responded, even during the Christmas holidays.In addition to this, he is a fantastic doctor with superior expertise. I went in because one of my eyes had been dilated seemingly out of nowhere. After explaining what I was experiencing, Dr. Mettus first question was spot on: Do you have a motion sickness issue?. I had just been on a cruise and was using motion sickness patches, which can apparently irritate the eye if one does not properly wash their hands between using the patch and touching the eye. Although we had established that this was the most likely reason for the issue, Dr. Mettu still conducted a full examination to rule out any other possibilities instead of hurrying you out the door like many other doctors. He was incredibly thorough in his care and follow-ups and paid full attention to detail.I have never written a review for a doctor before, but I was so overwhelmingly grateful and appreciative of my experience with Dr. Mettu that I just had to share.

Three weeks ago I had filler injected under my eyes (tear troughs) to reduce the sunken and hollow appearance that had developed, causing me to feel my age and look fatigued. I did some reading on injecting this area and the take away was to go to a skilled Oculoplastic Surgeon. I was referred to Dr. Mettu by Dr. Paul Riske at Raleigh Ophthalmology.As a patient and a nurse I have the highest regard and respect for Dr. Mettu. Trained at Duke, Mayo Clinic and University of Minnesota, he is top notch in my opinion. My initial consultation was thorough and unhurried. My eyes were examined for any underlying issues. Dr. Mettu provided a detailed yet easy to understand explanation of the procedure, types of fillers best for this area, risks and what outcome I could expect. He addressed all my questions and concerns in a professional and kindly manner. The procedure was done under sterile technique with topical anesthetic and I felt no pain. Within 30 minutes I was on my way home and could already see amazing improvement. I had very little bruising and virtually no swelling. Dr. Mettu gave me his cell phone number and asked that I contact him the following day. He responded right away. Wow. I had my follow up appointment yesterday and the result has exceeded my expectation. Dr. Mettus assistant Ashley is excellent. She is kind, attentive, professional. They are a great team providing exceptional care.

I would highly recommend Dr. Mettu. From the moment i was reffered to him til now him and his associate have been nothing short of amazing. He has great bedside manners and is available for any questions me or my family have had about my inflammed lacrimal gland. He performed a biopsy on my left eye back in February and explained everything thoroughly. I have been to him several times since and i am very pleased with my treatment. He is very knowledgeable about what he is doing.I would recommend anyone having issues with their lacrimal gland to see Dr. Mettu at Raleigh Opthamolog.

Just horrible. He didnt even look at my medical records or examined me before requesting an MRI. Seems extremely inexperienced.
