This woman messed up my partial hysterectomy. A few months after, I began to bleed, I called her office and was assured I was mistaken and to come in. Went in and sure enough she found blood apparently they didn’t freeze something during the procedure. She attempted to correct the mistake. It worked for a while but every so often I will bleed. Mind you I went in for a full hysterectomy. Now at 52 years old I woke up to spotting again.

I was looking for a good African American obgyn. Dr. Allison was not it. I went one time and I would never go back again.

Dr. Allison is a no nonsense doctor and shes not for the faint of heart. She provides excellent care, follow-up and advice. If you have hormone issues, I highly recommend her. Ms. Linda, office administrator and Nurse Omeshe are great.

She was my first African American OBGYN.. And I was so disappointed by her condescending attitude. She laughed under her breath after i responded to a question about my sex life...I would not recommend her to anyone. I wish I would have read these reviews FIRST! Never would have wasted my time.

I was referred by my gynecologist to Dr. Allison due having trouble getting my IUD removed. I booked an appointment 2 months out (as it was the only one available). I heard nothing from the practice about prep (even though my gyno mentioned multiple options I would need to be aware of). I tried calling the practice twice with no answers about prep. I came in and Dr. Allison immediately accused me because my voicemail was full so she couldn’t get a hold of me (she attempted a few hours before my appointment and then told the medicine I needed should be taken the night before...so no purpose in calling me the day of). She then proceeded to tell me (in an annoyed tone) what she had to do and how painful it would be because I wasn’t prepared!!! Again NO ONE from her office called me at anytime until a few hours before!! The nurse I encountered was great but Dr. Allison was NOT encouraging or comforting throughout the whole PAINFUL procedure. When cutting my new IUD strings I asked that they not be cut too short (as this was the reason I needed a specialist) and she informed me it was not the strings but MY body that was the issue! I was then left bleeding on a table, thrown a pad, and told to come out when I was ready. This is a COMPLETE insult to women care!!!

I would NOT recommend Dr. Allison to anyone. As a college student it took me a very long time and research to find a gynecologist I felt I could trust. Dr. Allison was not this at all, I definitely agree with other reviews that she gave off a “I’m better than you attitude”, she was very judgmental about my lifestyle decisions when asking questions instead of recommending what she thought would be best. Last but least she made me feel very uncomfortable in her office. If you are looking for an OB that you can trust & give the best advice necessary then Dr. Allison is NOT IT.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Allison. And I am a bit perplexed with the negative comments made about this well educated and pleasant physician. Dr. Allison is greatly versed in her field, compassionate about my concerns and found outstanding solutions to my situation. She made me feel very welcome, comfortable and listened to the things I addressed. Please dont let these negative or derogatory comments discourage you from visiting this amazing physician. I am so happy to meet her and this comforting and helpful staff. She is now as my regular OB and I know that I am in good hands. Ive been back and forth to Dr. Allison for the past 8+ years and her services have always been impeccable. I agree with the earlier comment, Dr. Allison is a no nonsense medical professional and she addresses your concerns and needs in a high quality and direct manner.I also enjoy her staff, especially the front desk administrator. For the life of me, I dont know how she always remembers my name....its like a feeling and comfort of being a part of a family. This level of service is important to me as a patient who prefers a family doctor environment.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Allison. She was very patient and attentive. She addressed all of my concerns, even things that I wasnt concerned about, but should have been. She also followed up very quickly on MyChart. And the staff was awesome!!

Dr Allison is a no-nonsense and very direct doctor. I can see how sometimes people can take it as rude or condescending, but I have been going to her for 8 years. She always remembers my issues and how we have addressed them in the past, as well as offered advice. She was the one that confirmed that I was pregnant. And gave me a hug after she gave us the good news. After I had my baby she was very disappointed that I did not bring him to the appointment and had to see pictures. She cares about her patients.

Worse doctor and experience I ever had. Unprofessional and unprepared. She told me that I just had to deal with the issue I had and no type of hope or suggestions on her end. I will never return to her office. RUN!

I think Dr. Allison is a great doctor. Shes very knowledgeable and thorough. If your expectation is to go to her and tell her what you want versus what she thinks is best for your health then she may not be the doctor for you. I think she has a witty dry sense of humor and friendly which is fine for me. If youre expecting syrupy sweet falling all over you mannerism doctor then no shes not for you LOL. Shes got her stuff together. She cares about her patients. What more can you ask for...

Ive been a patient with Dr Allison for quite some time on and off but Ive NEVER received the level of blatant disregard as I did TODAY. She answered none of my questions and disregarded everything I said! My copay is 35 dollars and I drive over 30 minutes just to see her! At one time, I would have said she was the best OB around but now Id say if your social status isnt higher up than dont waste your time. Youre not worth treating. It saddens me to write this but it felt worse being treated with such disregard.

I absolutely love Dr. Allison. She’s caring, compassionate about her patients, and is straight no chaser about her care. She’s completely honest, which is exactly what you need from a physician. She’s amazing at what she does and is also very knowledgable in her work. She will always be my OBGYN.

Dr.Allison and her staff are amazing. Everything from the moment I check-in to the moment I check out is always great. Best of all the front office administrator is AMAZINg! I highly recommend Dr.Allison to everyone!

Rude, and condescending. I would not recommend. Has this “I am better than you” attitude and always has a snarky comment to make, and Cares more about “status”. I agree 100% with CC Jones. However, loved Ms. Linda at the front desk, she understands customer service very well.

Very disappointed in this practice.My wife went in with a lot of pain & discomfort.Dr.Allison performed a biopsy & promised my wife would be contacted later that same day or the following morning.No one from her practice contacted her & when my wife called it went to voicemail.She even left messages on her my chart account.Still nothing.Very inconsiderate & disappointing.Would NEVER recommend this practice to ANYONE!
