10 out of 10 - entire office from the front desk to the back. Dr. Tammy is also the BEST. Feel so comfortable here and they really care. Also super up to date knowledge wise. Really impressed. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

Ive been a patient is Dr. Barbee for over 10 years and love the practice (as much as you can love a trip to the doctor). The staff is pleasant and professional. Theyre very punctual and I never have a lengthy wait. My issues are addressed and they have concern for my overall health too, knowing most women dont necessarily do a regular physical. I can get my mammogram here too, super convenient and prevents me from lapsing on it. Exceptional practice!

I was a patient here for about two years and then I left. I was not a huge fan of the doctors, but the office staff was especially cold and not very friendly. A lot of people have doctor visit anxiety, especially with these kinds of appointments. When I left I went to another practice, and I absolutely love them. Its been about four years since Ive been back at this location. I had to have a gene test done and my doctor referred me to this practice. I completely forgot it was the same place. If I had of known it was the same office as before, I would have asked to go somewhere else. I gave it another shot, because I only was going for a one time appointment. I quickly realized why I switched. Office staff was not nice when checking in, the doctor was cold and just as I remembered her. When I left I specifically asked the office staff if I had a co-pay and they said no. Well, I get a bill in the mail about a month later for my $25 co-pay. I paid it on their portal and I thought everything was fine. I get another letter in the mail a few weeks later and it was the same bill, that I had already paid. Not only did they send another letter, but they also hand wrote You must pay your co-pay with each visit! on the front. I thought that was incredibly rude when I had already paid. It all shows me that Im glad Im no longer a patient at this practice. I couldnt be happier with my switch. *Edited to add I saw Pam Lawlor the Nurse Practitioner for my previous and recent visit. Maybe the doctors are better?

Always a great experience. Dr. Hilbert is the absolute best. So many Doctors make you feel rushed and as though your concerns are not valid. Not her.

I was able to schedule a visit for the same day I called. The doctor was very empathic and professional, promoting a very welcoming atmosphere.

I had an appointment Tammy Hilbert 8/3/2021. I arrived and updated my insurance with the front desk. I was taken on time with no wait. All of the staff were polite. Tammy came in and took her time with me. She answered my questions and I never felt rushed. She always makes me feel comfortable and is easy to talk to.

I have a patient here for many years. I have seen all of the providers. I love them all. My favorite is Dr. Hilbert. She has been a huge help to me and my family. My twin sister was a patient of Dr. Roberts. Unfortunately she passed away 10 years ago. I have some of the same health issues and the staff has always been extremely supportive and concerned with my well being. I highly encourage anyone if you need a GYN. There is no better than these ladies. 🥰♥️

Dr. Tammy Hilbert is a wonderful blend of professional and personality. She performed my hysterectomy and I continue to see her for annual checksjust to be safe. The entire practice is well-run and definitely worth a 5 star!

I am a new patient (2020) and first impressions are important to me. I was very satisfied with the office environment and the staff. I am very happy I found them. I can say that I made an excellent choice and they met and exceeded my expectations. Would I refer them? yes I definitely would.

From the pre-process to the examination by the physician, I was extremely pleased with everything about this practice. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, the offices were nicely appointed and very clean. The doctor spent a good amount of time with me and I was not rushed. I highly recommend!

As a physician who is a stickler about running on time, I was very happy with how efficient GLS runs. My appointments have been on time. Dr. Barbee took time to answer questions. I have already recommended this practice to a number of my own patients. Keep up the great work GLS!! Thank you.

I’ve been going here for years and seen multiple doctors and the doctors themselves have been amazing. The office staff has always been exceptional until my last visit. I could not locate my insurance card so paid out of pocket as I needed to have an ultrasound. They conveyed the impression I’d be reimbursed as soon as I called in with my insurance information. When I called back to provide this info, the office staff member said she was submitting it through insurance. When I asked how long it would take for me to get reimbursed she legitimately laughed and said who knows.Secondly, I had called the office to request they send my prescription to a different pharmacy as the one I requested to have it sent to initially ended up not taking my insurance. When I called to have it switched the staff member asked me if I needed it today and I said yes. She said she’d call the new pharmacy to have it ready today. I called the pharmacy an hour later to confirm they had received it and was told nothing had been called in and now their office is closed.Furthermore, the doctor I saw, casually said everything seemed fine, but I insisted that I was having a lot of pain and she brushed it off and told me I should see a different type of doctor. I will be getting a second opinion from another OBGYN that will take the time to examine and listen and explain the situation to me. She didn’t describe anything or elaborate on anything and I had to ask so many questions just to get any information. The entire appointment felt rushed because it was the end of the day and they wanted to go home. This was a very disappointing experience and I will not be going back nor recommending any longer.

I have been going to this location for all of my womanhood. Dr. Roberts and team are always warm and inviting. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to find a new gynecology practice.

I would have loved to give an excellent review on this practice because I was recommended by two separate people in my life to go here because I was concerned with some things going on. Unfortunately I can not give a great review.My appointment was back in January after I waited almost 2 months for my appointment-- I also waited forever for my results. I called the practice one day and talked to the receptionist who had said they had tried to call but the nurse was too busy to talk to me, so she stepped away from the phone to ask her and comes back on the phone and said that everything looks fine.Fast forward to today where Im getting multiple alerts that I owe almost $200 even though I have insurance. The bills and alerts also said I could log on to the patient portal to pay my bill. So I did because I created the patient portal before I even had my appointment. Nothing was on there-- no bill, not even any information. So i contacted them and let them know that nothing is on there. I even had checked it multiple times for my results-- but never anything.Anyways they FINALLY today updated everything on my portal and I had a diagnoses on my portal that was not told to me by the receptionist who said the nurse says everything looks fine. Im no medical doctor, but I do work with a lot of them and Im pretty sure it isnt right to not let your patients know of their diagnoses until 2 months later.I will not be going back here. It seems that the reviews that say these people dont care for their patients or these people dont care if they lose business are correct.

I have been a patient here for several years, and while I liked Dr. Hilbert this office is a nightmare to work with.Since January I had two appointments cancelled on me in a 3 month period, when I called to reschedule it took multiple calls over 2 weeks time to get a real person on the phone and that was once my husband went so far as to call the emergency number. Dr. Song was still there at the time, and she was very respectful and empathic, telling me there were some issues and they were dealing with them.Again, I make another appointment, yes, it was cancelled by their office.When I did finally reach Cindy at the front desk and told her that the office had cancelled three of my appointments the best she said she could do was 6-8 weeks out.Prior to finally getting someone on the phone the last time, I had been using the online portal to get a prescription refilled, and then finally spoke with Dr. Roberts after leaving multiple messages, she couldnt have been any nastier about filling a pill prescription. My pharmacy called three times and left messages as well as sending electronic refill requests. This doctor went on to say they got no requests from my pharmacy! Really??? Not once did she take any responsibility for a business she clearly is an owner in and has a hand in operating. First their office cancels on me twice, then gives me a hard time because I need to have an appointment to get a pill prescription refilled. Does this make any sense to a logical person?This isnt the kind of practice that makes patients the priority. There are other caring physicians out there that care about the health and well being of their patients, this isnt one of them.

Highly recommend this outstanding, efficient, competent and data driven practice in a comfortable environment that is relaxing also seems like a spa.The welcoming lobby is comfortable with low lights and calming music.Appointments are always on time and the rooms are comfortable, spacious and feel like a sitting room rather than a stark clinical office.Dr Lisa Roberts and Dr Barbee are both terrific at listening and then suggesting options. The nurse, Chrissy, is friendly, efficient and extremely responsive and returns calls quickly with valuable information, particularly important to me with my allergies.Dr L Roberts is very interested and proactive on family history of breast cancer and Braca 1 testing. She is one of the top US doctors including data and projections against extensive databases that helps to plot family/genetic related risks. You leave with a clear picture that is updated annually or as new genetic information is identified.I have utmost confidence that I will get great advice and supportive care in a wonderful medical practice. Efficient, competent, caring practice where the doctor is interested in your total health and quality of life.

I have always been treated with respect in this office and finally found a physician that I trusted to do my hysterectomy. I always feel comfortable to ask them about anything and they are so kind.

Dr Roberts is excellent and I feel I always have her attention during my visits. I never feel rushed or like I forgot to discuss anything. Generally I am able to get an appointment when I need to. My only reason for not giving this office 5 stars is their follow up with results never come when they state they will. When they say they will call with lab results in 2-3 business days I often wait a week or more to hear anything from them (assuming it is even that quick). And that is when there are results that need actioning! They dont call at all if everything is ok which I dont agree with either.

This practice is fantastic! You feel like you are at a day spa the moment you walk in. The lighting is soft, there is pleasant music playing, and there is a drink bar in the lobby. All of the staff that I have interacted with have been very friendly and Dr. Barbee is awesome. Did I mention they have actual cloth robes? Not the paper kind you get everywhere else. I like coming here much better than a OB/GYN because there are no screaming kids here. LOVE IT!!

On my first visit with Dr. Lisa Roberts, she took time to meet with me - to understand my health concerns and goals - and to know me as a person. Ive been coming here for years and its a great practice. Dr. Hilbert is very sweet and caring. I had surgery out of WakeMed with her and it went very well. The wait time at this practice is unlike anywhere else. Im in the waiting room for an average of 5 minutes and once Im in the exam room, its not long before I see Dr. Hilbert. For a routine visit, Im usually out of there in 30 minutes!

I took the day off and was told I had to reschedule because no one informed me of bringing in my own paperwork that i had to go to a website and find on my own because no links are sent via email. This is terrible inconsideration to my time. If you are looking for a gyn do NOT waste your time here!

I have been going to see Dr. Barbee for 5-6 years now. I love her! Always kind and compassionate.

The doctor and PA-C I dealt with were both personable and efficient. I have no issues with the medical care from this office. HOWEVER, I have issue after issue with their front office staff. I called to ask what the costs were as I would be a non-insured patient. I got that information and made the appointment. I went to the appointment, paid amount quoted (and asked for at appointment) only to receive a call a few hours later asking for more money! I got a call the following day in regards to having an IUD put in. I again got a quote on price and was told I could not schedule my appointment until I paid. I went in to pay just 2 days later. I was told Id get a call to schedule the appointment once my IUD was in, however, after almost two weeks, I got no call. Instead, I got a call saying that the bank had misplaced my original check and Id need to write a new one. I mentioned not having received a call to set up my IUD appointment and she made that appointment for me. I went in for my IUD appointment and gave them the check to replace the one they lost. The office manager was not there (which was the person I had talked to) and both women in the front office seemed perplexed and reluctant to take the check. 6 days later, I got a call from the office manager stating she had been going to enter the check into my account but saw a credit and voided the check. Then, she went back through my account and found something that had not been charged for my IUD (which was exactly the same price as the check for the original appointment?!) I now needed to write a third check and should expect the voided check in the mail. Seriously... I can not make this stuff up! Im hopeful this is my last contact with this practice, but given their history, I could get a call from them at any point!

I can not say enough nice things about Dr. Hilbert. She is incredibly knowledgeable, listens to every single question and concern you have, and I never feel rushed through my appointment. Completely judgement free, and the office is beautiful. It feels like youre in a posh hotel, not a doctors office :)

Dr. Hilbert was great with my hysteroscopic mymectomy. I am very appreciative for her professional knowledge, surgery skills, and demeanor.Just beware of the office administration and even if you are told pre-op and post-op appts are free, they are not. Its the surgery results, that are most important more so than the copays. Dr. Hilbert is very good.

This place does not care about the patient. They are only in it to make as much money as possible. Went there the past two years for a yearly check up and have come out oweing extra because they found a way to code things differently to charge me more money. If you go there for a yearly expect to get a bill for something extra they threw in. I wish I would have quit going here a whole lot sooner!

Yes th place looks nice and the staff are nice as well. but they NEVER pick up there phones I been trying to make an appt for about 2 weeks, every time I call it just rings and rings and then goes to voicemail and I call at business hours. So I will be looking for a new gyno office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hilberts for seven years. My life has changed for the better with her care.Their office is an inviting and comfortable space. The front desk staff always greet you like they are expecting you. The door between the front and back offices have always been open during my visits, making the back, seem much less scary! After updating paperwork, youre escorted to an exam room, where the nurse takes your blood pressure before weighing you! They have their own phlebotomist now, too, so you can have blood drawn in the office.On my first visit, Dr. Hilbert asked manyQuestions about peri-menopausal symptoms. She asked all of the hard questions, did some bloodwork and an ultrasound and made a quick diagnosis. She called me after my appointments to make sure I understood the next steps. Her prescribed treatment was quick and nearly painless, but it changed my life, and increased my quality of life, for the better immediately!And Ive been symptom-free, pain-free for the past seven years. Im still very grateful for her compassionate care. Had I stuck with my previous OB/GYN, Id likely still be struggling and suffering.So glad to have access to Dr. Hilbert and her awesome staff!
