The store is adorable and I know the owners personally. They are beautiful sisters in Christ, with some of the biggest hearts ever!! They go above and beyond serving others and trying to make a better life for all, both here locally, and world wide. Their vision, faith and hope are admirable.

This is the best leather good store ever!!! Its a non-profit that is dedicated to helping vulnerable women get back on their feet. The artisians do such amazing work and the products look amazing. They sell everything from earrings and other jewelery to home goods like coasters and charcuterie boards. They also make wallets, hand bags, and grooming kits. All the products used to create each item is responsibly sourced. If you want gorgeous products this is the store for you!

After seeing a news story about DFY I had to visit. It’s like eye candy taking in all of the unique and beautiful pieces of jewelry, clothing and art objects. If that wasn’t reason enough to shop local, I had the privilege of meeting one of the owners who took time to explain their vision and purpose. (Check it out on their website). It’s heartwarming and real. To know that we partner with them by creating more jobs for the indigent, broken, hurting, formerly incarcerated female population by shopping there is incredible.

I love Designed for Joy so much. Cary Heise and Kristen Sydow have the most tremendous hearts and work together so well. Kristen’s designs are so beautiful and fun while Cary loves on the artisans so well. I love how they build up these vulnerable women and put them in a position to be able to support themselves. I love volunteering with DFJ as well and leave feeling so encouraged every time. And it is always fun and fulfilling to shop at DFJ. I love all my earrings, my headband and my charcuterie board! 💕
