Not a better group to be treated by. When I lived in Greensboro, I would still drive to Raleigh just to keep Dr. Kritz as my Oncologist.

Dr. Kritz is a crazed pit bull when it comes to helping you fight this terrible disease. Best way to face possible cancer diagnosis is with this team. They give you everything up front and don’t sugar coat anything. You can make informed decisions with their information and feel good about the care they provide. ❤️

You have Cancer. Not something you ever want to hear. First thing I did was tell my surgeon, I want Dr. Kritz to be my Oncologist. And I could not have made a better choice. 52-yr old female, HUMONGOUS tumor of NHL in my abdomen - I call her Big Bertha. No symptoms. Found during routine OB-GYN appointment. If there was ever a time to have a meltdown, it would be understandable to be now....but instead there is NO POSSIBLE WAY THAT BERTHA CAN SURVIVE w/the care that Im getting at REX Hematology Oncology. Its the complete package at REX - from SCHEDULING, to CHEMO COLLEGE (where I spent 4 hours w/one on one time w/a nurse learning about my chemo and possible side effects), to the CHECK-IN FOLKS (who always greet me, by first name only, w/a huge smile on their face) to the NURSES WHO TAKE MY BLOOD, to the NURSE WHO PERSONALLY ANSWERS THE TELEPHONE if I have a question or an emergency, to my SUPER FANTASTIC INFUSION NURSES, to my PHENOMENAL ONCOLOGIST his NURSE PRACTITIONER. WOW. And if laughter is the best medicine, they give me HIGH doses of that along with the chemo. Im 100% confident with the care that Im being given. *100%*. Absolutely. My portal is always immediately updated after my visits w/test results and doctor comments too. NHL can kiss my butt because Ive totally got this. Thanks REX. YOU ROCK!

Dr. Kritz has been my oncologist for 12 plus years. He is professional, knowledgeable and patient friendly. Very blessed to have him as my medical provider.

I want to point out first the nurses are fantastic. I only have had interaction with one doctor, and that is fine. However, the clinic is grossly mis-managed and they have people with incredibly tough cancers/disease waiting in the lobby on a regular basis for over an hour. The women that does the scheduling could not figure her way out of a paper bag, let alone schedule an appointment- it is pitiful.Additional issues:1. Double billing from this office, then from Rex using the same codes which create many more lost hours with your insurance company trying to get it straighten out.2. Trying to reach them on the main phone number puts you in contact with call center in Rex Hospital, and they cant even seem to transfer you to the UNC Cancer center just 500 ft across the street. Response time is usually 24 hours to 48 hours when leaving a message- or longer.3. delays or forgotten blood tests: I have had the nurse forget to request the needed blood tests. It was only when i queued that i finally had tests performed over a week late. This is all unacceptable. As a patient, i recommend using another center. Patients have rights too!

Dr. Kritz is the finest oncologist I have ever met. His expertise in blood cancers is outstanding and his people skills are very admirable. I cannot recommend Dr. Kritz and his team enough!

My Dr referred me to them, and after not hearing from them for a week, I called to follow up. I was told that they received my info and would need 3 weeks to go over it.3 weeks to by and still nothing, so I called back, and now they tell me they didnt receive all my labs (there was only 1), so I ask if I could send it to them, since I have access to all my lab results. They said I could, and forwarded my call to someone named Brittany.I leave Brittany a voicemail with ALL my contact info. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Never heard back from her. Good thing this isnt something important like my health.
