Very pleased with home health services after my left knee replacement. Matt M. was the best physical therapist ! From day one, he explained the services I would receive, his philosophy of care and how we would work together to meet and exceed my goals. He was thorough, had great communication skills and gave the exact amount of encouragement I needed. I highly recommend Matt M. for your home health physical therapy needs. I am now taking Outpatient physical therapy and they were very pleased at my intake appointment regarding my ability in bending that knee ! I will be requesting WakeMed Home Health and Matt M. for PT for my right knee replacement in August.

My name is Travis Jackson. I was a patient of Nurse Dee, RN. She was like an Angel sent from God to save my foot and sanity. First, she presented herself as a skilled professional with proficiency and a positive disposition. Every visit consisted of assessing my health and medication necessities. Next, she performed the essential care needed to help my foot wound heal. That process included cleaning my foot wound in preparation for a wonderful piece of medical equipment called a “Wound-Vac” to be appended to the wound. Lastly, she draped my wound in the appropriate dressings so the therapeutic process could begin. Nurse Dee, RN was meticulous and adept in her caretaking duties. As a result, my foot is practically healed and I no longer require the attention of the wound care podiatrist. Wake Med Home Health sent me Angels to take care of me in the form of Nurse Dee (and Nurse Moriah when Dee was not available) . I highly recommend Wake Med Home Health Services to anyone who needs excellent care for their health care needs.

WakeMed Home Health care has provided EXCELLENT services to my 86 year-old mother after a fall resulted in a head injury. I cant say enough about their professionalism, compassion, positive attitudes, sensitivity.....I could go on and on......Even with the added stress of the COVID-19 crisis these professionals arrived at every appointment positive and upbeat. I would NEVER consider using, or recommending, any other group for this type of assistance(physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, personal care).This review cant adequately convey what a positive experience this has been with WakeMed Home Health Care.

My brother was discharged from Wake Med with their home health services. Every staff member and every service provided was done with the utmost care and professionalism. Social work, nursing, monitoring, medical staff visits, physical therapy, etc. i loved the way the staff all monitored him. He felt so cared for and I believe this was a catalyst that helped him get better. This is definitely the right way to do home health!

Just had both my hips replaced. I had Matt for both. He was amazing! The whole staff helped me so much. After My second one i was walking within 3 weeks with no help. I just want to say thank you to Matt and all the staff for the help.

Matt was awesome for in-home PT after my total hip replacement. He was professional, knowledgeable, caring and friendly. Overall great job !!

Excellent care and compassion from the RN and PT that took care of my 85 year old mother after her hip fracture. Care was tailored to her energy level at every session. It was hard to say Good Bye but great to know that should we ever need them again, they are a phone call away!

During the last ten months I have had two different occasions to use the Home Health staff from WakeMed. The Occupational and Physical Therapists were very helpful and professional. Their assistance and guidance helped in my health improvement.The Home Health Nurse, Lorrie, was of great help in monitoring my health and improvement. She was very knowledgeable and truly concerned about both my wife and I. Her visits and phone calls were always helpful and timely. Wakemed Home health was excellent. I had heard about them before but never used it till now. I had PT/OT therapies. They both got me to a point that now I can go to outpatient therapy in a month. I recomend all who need home health to use them.

All of the support my mother received was exemplary. Nurses; Nikki and Holly were amazing with Mom. Nic, her physical therapist built a great relationship with her in a short period of time. She loved telling people she spoke to about him and his two children. Lakeshia was so kind and gentle with Mom. My 74 year old mother received exceptional care from the RNs, PTs, and OTs after discharge from her hospitalization where she was on a ventilator for severe pneumonia. Their professionalism and care was exemplary.
