A Plus Home Care Agency was entrusted to provide staffing for my family member with medical needs. I have had a great experience with multiple nurses and aides coming into my home with other agencies for the last 8 years. This wonderful experience came to an end when A Plus Home Care Agency hired an aide with a long history and criminal record for theft. This aide had even spent time in jail. I will not provide the name but I will provide an OPUS number for you to look it up for yourself. It is 0023565. It is public information and can be found on the Department of Public Safety site ( Offender Search). This person should never be allowed to be left in someones house with their belongings. This individual stole numerous items from my home in excess of 5000.00 dollars. The owners agreed to pay me for my items only if I didnt notify the police. Once I found out about this individuals extensive criminal record, I notified the police so that this individual would never be able to victimize another family. She should never have been hired. I confronted the owners of A Plus Home Care Agency and their excuse was that the crimes were a long time ago. Not true. If I was a serial bank robber in my past, I dont think I should be trusted to work at the local Credit Union. That is common sense. Evidently, A Plus owners dont possess concern for the families they serve as long as they can make a buck. Buyers beware. Seek help for your family elsewhere. Dont become a victim. It is hard enough coping with a sick family member only to become victimized by an unscrupulous Health Care Agency and a THIEVING HEALTH CARE WORKER. A Plus Health Care Agency has not attempted to right their wrong. RUN. Dont walk from this agency!!!!
