Dont remember a thing! I would highly recommend having your procedures here! Thanks for a great experience!!

From the standpoint of a driver, having to sit in the car rather than the empty waiting room was very inconsiderate. Today was one of the hottest days, and the car a/c had to run the entire length of the visit. This arrangement was not mentioned beforehand.

Michael Battaglino, MD is wonderful to work with. I met Dr. Battaglino almost 10 years ago for a procedure that was needed as I was preparing for another surgery. My husband and I were put at ease right away and Dr. Battaglino followed up himself after. Recently, I needed a procedure and again, Dr. Battaglino was easy to communicate with and willing to work with me. I would recommenmd Dr. Battaglino to anyone.

Had an excellent experience with a colonoscopy at the Wake Endoscopy Center today. The online pre-registration was straight forward (did it a week ahead), the preparation instructions were clear -- make sure you read them carefully and ahead of time, though, as you need to start five days ahead with some dietary items; also, I had to call to make sure I could continue to take some antibiotics and pain meds that I was on and that the instruction for the morning of the procedure concerning continuing to drink clear liquids until 3 hours prior to your procedure should be crossed out - the only thing you should drink on that morning is the bowel prep mixture. I also really liked the bowel prep items that they are now using: miralax mixed with gatorade, and dulcolax. One takes one-half of the gatorade-miralax in the early evening the night before, and the rest the next morning, about 3.5 hours before arrival. So I was able to get some sleep during the night. The center is easily accessible, and the facilities were super. I was surprised that the waiting room was almost vacant when I arrived, but soon found out that because of Covid they require all drivers to return to their cars to wait until called to return to be with their patients during recovery after the procedure. Pre-opt was handled in a very friendly and professional manner and all your clothing and other things in your procession are put in a bag and placed under your bed. As usual, they put you under for the procedure using an IV, and then in a recovery area with your driver your Doctor comes and explains the results along with giving you a written report with images of your colon and any polyps that you may have. It was good to hear Dr. Gumber say that my results were good enough for me to graduate, i.e., no further colonoscopies required. Hooray!!

If you are looking for a medical facility that will return your calls, provide you proactive care, answer the telephone when you call or provide any type of compassionate healthcare services, this is NOT the place to go. There was absolutely no communication after my procedure. The only staff who will take your call is the receptionist who routes you immediately to a nurse. The nurses never answer the telephone. You leave a message and its never returned. I spent 2 whole days trying to get in touch with anyone beyond the receptionist and failed. And, Im in the healthcare field and understand the process. There are other facilities that provide endoscopy and colonoscopy services. I would highly suggest that you choose them over Wake Endoscopy. Furthermore, when a medical doctor (Dr. Battaglino) laughs in your face and refuses to hear the feedback that you have concerning issues, then that speaks volumes for the entire facility. Extremely unprofessional behavior to say the least. Wake Endoscopy treats patients like widgets. They have a process that drives down costs at the expense of a high level of care. Be forewarned. Choose wisely.

When having an uncomfortable procedure its good to know youll be well taken care of once you arrive. Wait times were reasonable, they were thorough but efficient. Made sure you were covered up and warm giving as much respect as possible under the circumstances. Dr R Schwartz is personable and warm, gave a light touch on the leg on the way out. Full report with plenty of pictures and write ups but took the time to meet me in recovery to go over everything. Highly recommended.

Well, gosh. I cannot imagine being treated better for any procedure. I had great nurses, a great anesthesiologist and Dr. Whitt was very friendly and took time with me before the procedure. Their pre-prep instructions were clear and easy to follow and I had great support from their front desk and support staff. Cant recommend enough.

Nursing staff is great. This comment is towards the administrative processes.Do yourself a favor and call ahead to ensure you are on the schedule. My family has had two procedures scheduled there and both were not on the schedule upon arrival. I initially thought my physicians group didnt schedule my appointment (roughly 2 years ago) but after my son (10 yrs old) not being on the schedule today (10/2020) Im not confident in Wake Endoscopy Centers administrative process. My wife was able to get him on the schedule. My wife was waiting bedside, with my son and his Dr., when she received a call stating he would need to reschedule - the caller did not realizing that we had already been admitted. This may seem like a harsh review but thats not the intent, intent is to encourage a review of administrative business process to look at inefficiencies (Understaffed? Too many hands touching a workflow process? Etc.).

I visited the center 07/27/2020, the lady at the front desk, African American, was very disrespectful in her dealings with me and my family member who suffers from an illness. He stopped attending to us in line and called the couple in the back, she received their documents and treated them with a kind voice, then returned to my relative and changed her tone of voice, very contemptuous. She asked me to come over to take my temperature, she had not called anyone before, after saying it was 97 * she yelled and asked me to leave the building and wait for my family member outside. So why did she take my temperature? Why did she have to inform everyone in the waiting area about my temperature!!!I hope the lady will read my review, because a person who is at the front desk of a health center must show everyone respect, empathy, honesty or did you discriminate against us for being different from you? . I am very disappointed in your attitude.

I have not personally had an appointment here but I have come with a family member several times. It looks very clean here and has a pleasant feel to the waiting room. My family member has said nothing but good things about the staff at the front counter and their doctor. I have met Dr. J before and after a few procedures and he is genuinely concerned about his patients and only wants the best decisions made for them. Yes I know all doctors are supposed to be that way but we all know its not the case. Some doctors just come in and have a matter of fact attitude about everything and just make decisions. Thats what second opinions are for. Dr. J is a great doctor who cares and I would recommend him to anyone in need of doctor specializing in endoscopy.

Truly an outstanding staff from check-in to check-out. They were sincerely concerned about my comfort and peace of mind - was I cold; was the back rest high enough; was the pillow comfortable; let me know who I was going to see next and what they would be doing. Even more commendable given that they likely wont see me for another ten years.

My first colonoscopy and they made an uncomfortable experience as pleasant as one of these could be. I got checked in within seconds and before I could sit down I was inside, in a gown being told what to expect. A few short minutes later Im unconscious and then everything was over. Dr. Ronald Schwartz who did the procedure explained how things went, nurses were all great...out the door and home for a nap!Follow up calls make this an all around professional experience!

Very comfortable environment. Front desk is very efficient and friendly.Short wait time before being taken to procedure preparation area.I was greeted by Gloria, the Medical Assistant, in the wait area. She took me to the prep area which was very comfortable and had good privacy.Gloria was fantastic! She worked efficiently but was able to be friendly and polite, which relaxed me quickly. She provided clear information about what to expect before, during, and after the procedure. The nurse anesthesiologist was also great. She was also very efficient and friendly, gave me clear information about what to expect. She also helped make me comfortable before the procedure.I met and talked with Dr. Indira Reddy before the procedure and it was a pleasure. She has great bedside manners, a great sense of humor, and is also very efficient and polite. She answered all my questions completely and made me even more relaxed.Even post-procedure was great. They provided me a clear, thorough report on the results, including useful info about diet and nutrition. They gave me a wheelchair ride all the way to the car, even though I was not alone. In summary, a great experience with a great staff. Very comfortable, friendly and efficient place for medical care. I would definitely return there if I need to in the future.

I cant find the words to adequately describe the wonderful staff at Wake Endoscopy. This was my second colonoscopy and the procedure went extremely well. I felt welcome and made very comfortable before, during and after my procedure. The nurses were awesome and kept me occupied in conversation which eased my apprehension. Dr. Hutzenbuhler even chatted with me before my procedure. I felt like I was their only patient. God Bless them all for their dedication and caring.

Front desk staff were excellent. Nurse who took my vitals and got my history seemed like she was extremely bored and did not want to be there at all. She kept sighing (I have a lengthy medical history). Dr. Sachdeva was incredibly rude and spoke to me in a very demeaning manor. He was a jerk. Maybe he’s excellent at the procedure itself but I won’t find out, as I’m never going back. His bedside manner needs a lot of work. 2 stars are for the front desk staff. Zero stars for the nurse and Dr. Sachdeva.

We arrived early for the colonoscopy and filled out the quick paperwork with no difficulties. The front desk staff were helpful and kind. When called back to begin preparations, we were again treated with excellent help, and caring staff. We had to wait a little bit, as they had gotten a little behind, but they kept us informed every step of the way. The IV, the procedure of the colonoscopy, all went very well and were done with excellence. When finished my wife and I rejoined in the recovery area, where we were taken care of by an excellent nurse, who monitored everything, had a gracious spirit, removed all the lines with ease and gentleness and explained all the post procedure instructions clearly. We were both impressed by the care I had here and would recommend this office to anyone in need of a colonoscopy or endoscopy. While these tests can be difficult, we felt that this staff made everything as easy as possible. Great nurses, great doctors, great office staff.. 100% impressed!
