I have been coming to Universal Family Medicine since 2018 and Blaine has been very helpful in the improvement of my health. He has always been professional and doing whatever he can to make sure that I am getting the best care possible.

I have been going to this office for over 5 years and have had nothing but great experiences. Staff and doctors are patient, kind,and really care about your health. They go over and beyond to take care of any issues you may have and are very attentive to your needs. I have always felt safe and confident when it comes to my personal health issues and information. When I come here I feel like Im visiting my other family so to speak thats how each and every doctor and staff member makes me feel. I have yet to walk away feeling like my questions or concerns have gone unanswered. I am so appreciative to have a doctor that I am comfortable with and I know I can put my life in their hands. It can be challenging to find medical professionals who provide quality care for consumers with developmental disabilities. I appreciate the doctors taking the time to learn our consumers. You work with us in getting appointments scheduled quickly and addressing any urgent needs of our consumers quickly as well. This place right here, is so on point. Ive been bringing my children there for years.Yesterday, they needed physicals. I did not realize, it had been quite a while since I brought them in for one.Dr. Mahood knew my kids without even having a file.He remembered my son had a ganglion cyst surgery years ago, and asked about his hand.He is a doctor who knows the patients, and answered all of my questions,without using a bunch of medical jargon.My children are African American, and hes Caucasian.He was so personable with my children, who are teenagers.My son is 17, and felt comfortable with the Dr.Thats a big deal, because in this world today most African American males are not feeling so positive toward Caucasian men, because of whats going on in our world.He made my son smile, and feel relaxed.This was an experience where I felt like a proud single mom, because the Dr. let me know I was doing a great job.He was genuine, and not being all phony.The staff is always on point, and Know what they are doing.They dont have bad attitudes, and know how to smile.If I had a million dollars, this place would still be the doctors office I bring my children too.It is like that Cheers songI wanna go where everybody knows your nameCovid19 have made many people so standoffish.That could be for so many reasons. Some have experienced unforseen death etc.So just having positive interactions with people really make a huge difference.

I needed a doctors note for a comfort pet in my apartments and I called in. They sent me the letter the next day! I know some places make you pay extra for an additional appointment or an additional phone consultation which I think is crazy they make you do if you’ve already been a patient with them and they know your circumstance. but this place doesn’t! They are real genuine. Love them!

I have been going to this facility for 10 years! The office manager Brandy and her staff are very friendly and polite! I see Dr. Blaine and sometimes Dr. Christine, but the other doctors are good as well. The waiting room is clean and the building itself on the inside is nice...its like a jungle/rainforest. They wont disappoint you with the quality of services they offer!

My Girlfriend has been seeing Christine Han for years and absolutely loves her. I also give her very high accolades as she works with both of us and includes me so that I can assist with my significant others care. The front desk staff works with me when rescheduling appointments and when I need documentation. I cannot say enough and my girlfriend would not change anything for nothing!

UNPROFESSIONAL care at its finest. I have been going here since 2016 since I moved to the Raleigh area. The office staff are lackdaisical. The dont answer the phone and when they do they put you on hold forever. I have nothing ill to say towards Dr. Hood but if he wants to flourish in the medical field. I suggest he leave this practice or clean shop in this one. Dr. Christine Han is not knowledgeable and does not listen to her patient. For FOUR weeks I have had pain in my back and leg and she has shown no interest in aiding me in my distress. I was suppose to have physical therapy, all she kept doing was having me buy prescriptions which in fact did not fix the problem at all. I called last Friday ( Feb. 1) to have her to refer me to get an MRI and I am still waiting for the phone call for the referral. I am over this practice and will be taking my business elsewhere.

He really listens to your concerns and when communicating he is very down to earth and has great bed side manner! He is everything you want in a healthcare provider. Christine is the best PA around. She is patient and listens when you talk. The ladies in the front office know your name when you call and always greet you with a smile. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my pcp.

The staff is excellent!!! Always friendly and welcoming. Theyve been taking care of my family for over a decade. Theyve seen my children grow from elementary school to adulthood and have taken care of us every step of the way. Cant imagine our healthcare without them.

It was usually a routine and regular check with the doctor. But a change in health condition became life threatening that saw the doctor taking charge of the situation. I was given extra attention to my concerns and my paperwork were promptly processed, especially my short term disability and FMLA forms. I really do appreciate this aspect prompt attention to needs and concern.

We are new to the country. A family of young professionals and a 4 year old. Husband left the USA too young so he was kind of useless with how how the insurance/docs bill system works. I asked advice from american family, American friendsand never got a very clear picture until we had to see the doctor for the first time...First, reviews here are wrong when they mention about the rudeness of the front desk staff. I had a pleasant experience booking a preventive for me, husband and our 4 year old over the phone and when arriving in person.I needed some clarification of what preventive and consultation appointment means. And the lady Cathryn was spotless in dealing with it. She is an asset to the practice.The nurse was great, smily, sweet and patient with us.Dr Christine saw me and my daughter and she was wonderful. Great knowledgeable PA.We couldnt be more happier. And if you have kids bring to them as everyone seems on top of their game and making sure patients have the best experience ever.

I love love love this office. 1st of all the staff is very friendly and caring. It’s always really clean in all the rooms. They don’t have a high turn over rate bc I’ve seen the same staff for the past 5 years since I’ve been going. The docs and PAs they have are amazing. They actually care about you and remember your face . I love them so much that even though I’ve moved to charlotte Nc, I still drive back to this docs office. Not to mention Christine Han is the best doc I have ever had in my life. I tell you if she left and moved across the country, I would just have to show up there. I promise if you to go UFM you will NOT REGRET IT

I have been with this practice since I relocated to Raleigh in 2008. I had the same doctor for almost 5 years. Elizabeth was more than a PA for me, she cared about us and our well being. Now I have Christine, who is the same way. The old office manage Cora was very difficult to deal with and everyone always went to the receptionist Brandy or Cat because they had so much patience and respect for others, and I was so proud to see that Cat took over the office. The office is very cozy, and make you feel safe and at home while going through the short waits for service. Prior to Dr. Conley leaving you would wait near a hours and the practice was not having that so she is no longer there, God bless her soul. I would definitely recommend my friends/foes/family to this practice where everyone shows each other love. I love this group of people and with all of my health issue I say they have played a major role in extending my life and getting me the proper treatment for my many conditions. Big ups to Universal Family Medicine.

The only reason Im giving this place 2 stars is because my doctor was pleasant. However, the front staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. If I didnt call back to check on prescriptions and referrals they wouldnt get done.Dont waste your time on these guys if youre looking for good medical care...they dont seem like they care about helping their patients get better.

I agree with another reviewer, they can be very rude. The office manager and Dr. Conley mainly. Ive also had appts canceled without notice. I think that because their main patients are the elderly they have zero compassion and dent really care. Im currently visiting another better doc and only using universal for emergency visits.

Awesome staff and Dr Mahood is awesome. Updat 12/16/19 I have to add to why the staff and Drs are as awesome as I say. The staff aways smiling ever if it’s a rough day. From helping me with paperwork to insurance they are awesome. I suffer my migraines to depression and Dr Mahood has been right there with me. Listening to my feelings and pain to helping me get a handle on these issues. We have now started a new chapter with my migraines and we’re already seeing results. Dr Mahood your a God send for me. As for his co worker Catherine she has also been a huge help in the journey. You guys are just awesome. Thank you all for what you do.

The providers at Universal are excellent, however, the front desk staff should all be terminated. Those are three of the rudest women Ive ever had the displeasure of having encountered. They sgould all be fired. Get rid of them and youll get 5 🌟 from me!

I loved Christine as my doctor. However, the snootiness of her staff is not that great. I will not recommend this doctor to anyone if you are actually looking for health care. Your health is NOT in their best interest.

..After reading the reviews I still came and saw the providers and have been coming for almost 2 years. Every office has some kinks they could work out but I rather speak the owner before dowing them on the these sites,the girls are hard workers ive seen them interact with some rude people and i bet the people who posted prob still go there but come this site to put them down, but hey i can only speak for me and the other happy campers thats come there that Dr Blaine is a great dr and was good to me he handled my flma forms with no hesistation and the girls made sure he signed where needed and took care of that and more so I recommend that everyone give them a chance and go off your own experience some people only post these things because they didnt get their way.

The office manager named Cora Javier is extremely rude. On top of canceling my childrens kindergarten physicals without telling me she tells me she cannot accommodate me for another week and a half and that if I am unhappy I can go elsewhere. My children had a sports physical and I made an appt for a kindergarten physical which are two different things and no one consulted me when they decided to cancel my appointment.The worst cutover service ever. Because of this experience I will definitely be taking my children elsewhere in the future.

Worst place, its been 1yr and Im still waiting for them to call me back about a referral that my Dr had put in for me and it never happened all the staff in the front are so rude n so snotty, they put you on hold for 20 min and more n sometimes they never answer when they put you on hold worst freakin place I have ever been to for my kids n myself.....
