I’ve had a great experience being a patient here. Dr McMullen is very knowledgeable and trust worthy. The staff is great as well, highly recommend.

Im a businessman and inform the office I was gonna be late due to fact short of staff (which alot of businesses are going threw) just to get to the office for my appointment to be canceled without notice. And the Secretary in front desk was very dismissive and attitude to was unprofessional. Never will get my business again. Until proper training for staff is better.

Patients receive good medical care at Family Medicine in Raleigh, however, the center does only provide general medical care. Like they don’t provide cardiology care, or citi scan tests etc.

I definitely will recommend this practice facility to everyone, the staff is friendly and professional. I have only met two of the doctors, mines is doctor Honycut she is great! Very knowledgeable and her personality can motivate you to feel better, in worst cases if your not able to visit the office in person due to being away from the area then you don’t worry! They have the virtual appointment which is just like sitting in front of the doctor face to face. They will always make it so much easier for you the best way possible and gives you peace of mind.

Went there once, signs all around saying you can only talk to Dr Wagner about what you made an appointment for. Dr Wagner seemed upset and lazy. He also commented about how much money he has lost. I dont know him but I dont have alot of pity for him right now. If hes doing bad in a pandemic maybe he brought it on himself

I’ve been going here for 2 years and I love this practice! I never wait long at all in the lobby. The receptionists are organized and friendly. In fact, everyone I’ve encountered here is friendly! I’ve seen two PAs here and both were fantastic. Thorough and I never felt rushed. Today I called when they opened needing an urgent appointment, they fit me in within an hour of my call and provided excellent care. I really feel like a person here, not just another patient. I highly recommend them.

Chose this office because its nearby - that is the best thing I can say about it. The doctor I saw spent more time talking about himself than he did listening to my medical concerns. And when I used their online portal to request a change in a prescription, I was informed that I needed to come in for a visit rather than the office simply calling the pharmacy to update my Rx. Shady. Beyond that, the office itself is a relic; filthy looking and could easily pass as a time capsule from the 70s.

I chose CFM due to its 100+ 4.8 star reviews and its convenience to my location. I visited the office due to having Flu like symptoms with an excruciating headache that even hurt to look up. Instead of writing a dissertation, heres a timeline:Tuesday1hr 15min total time spent at CFM.15 minutes was paperwork and waiting area.50 minutes WAITING in patient room.10 minutes with actual Dr.Outcome - Dr said the Flu test was a False Positive and it would weaken my immune system if prescribed TamiFlu. Walked out with script for cough suppressant and nasal spray.Post visit timeline -Tuesday night - fever 102 - chest congestionWeds - Fever 104.7 - horrible, nasty chest congestionThur - Fever 102 - horrible, nasty chest congestionFriday - Fever 100 - chest congestion -Wife starts feeling ill.Saturday- Fever 99 - Wife has fever 102 - Wife goes to DIFFERENT Dr gets prescribed TamiFlu - Her total in and out time was just over 30 minutes.Sunday - currently Fever 99 - chest congestion gone - wife asleep with fever 101 less chest congestion.Chalking that visit up to 1 out of a 100 which is a great record for them... unfortunately I was that 1 when I needed to be in that 100!

I did not have an appointment. I was really sick and they did not turn me away. The intake personal/nurse was very understanding and Dr. Henderson made time for me. I left feeling a sense of belonging and that they truly care about me, the person.A. James

Extremely bad experience here-first the check-in was a big mess and they couldnt figure out who to handle, it was mixed up. Then I was told I had to pay upfront, which was not communicated on the phone. I told them I can pay when I get home (or even return) but they wouldnt waiver, as it was something they discussed in meetings (per the manager)-I wondered why they couldnt execute better in this case, if they are having these meetings. All in all, a disappointing place and not a great ambience to boot.

I have been going to this practice for 20+ years. I always get prompt service. This visit they worked me in during the noon walk in period. I got checked out and was on my way in less than an hour. The doctors, nurses and staff are friendly and professional.

I had been looking around for a new provider for some time when I first moved here, then CFM came into the picture. These guys are tops! The ladies behind the desk are ALWAYS friendly and inviting. The providers are flexible in their scheduling and happy to see you if yours isnt free. You can tell each one takes their patients care and concerns VERY seriously- its rare that you have a provider that actually takes time to really talk to you, break things down for you, and makes a point of it to connect with you on a real level. Its no wonder CFM has the review they do- theyve truly earned it and my business.

Ive been a patient here for twenty years, theyre very responsive and friendly. I called Monday morning about a problem, saw my doctor Monday afternoon. He referred me to a specialist. I was worried about trying to find a new place, how will I schedule the appointment, etc, but they took care of everything. The specialist was in the same building, and the Capital Family staff arranged it so I could just walk downstairs and sign in there. Didnt even have to move my car. That was nice.

Ive only been a handful of times, but everyone is nice and Mallory is very thorough and takes time to explain everything, which I appreciate as I usually have a lot of questions. I would recommend this practice to others.

The practice has always had available appointments so that Ive never felt I had to wait an unnecessarily long time. Ive been given good sound advice on my health that has helped me lose weight and improve how I feel. Dr. Forsyth is an old school doctor who wont pander to his patient; he does whats best for them. I wont leave this practice.

Dr. Forsyth simply over diagnoses and over perscribes; my current Dr. removed two unnecessary meds from my prescriptions (and to positive effects I might add) which was a judgement made in my best interest and definitely not in the interests of receiving kick-backs from big pharma which Im completely sure was Dr. Forsyths motivation. Forsyth always acted a little over-perscribed himself looking back on my visits here.

I am changing my review due to poor/shady business practices from Dr. Forsyth. One of the things I visit this office for is management of my PT/INR. Basically once a month I need lab work done to check that the blood thinners are working properly. Prior, and EVERY OTHER provider has only charged an office visit if the INR was NOT inline and required a consultation to adjust dosage. If the level was normal, no consultation is needed or required. However they still want to charge a FULL OFFICE VISIT for pricking my finger and saying the level is good. That is RIDICULOUS and poor business practice. I will be looking for another provider.I would like to say that Dr. Mallory Lake has been PHENOMENAL and has been BY FAR my favorite Dr to deal with. It is a shame that I will have to find another provider because of the owner/managers greed.I welcome Capital Family Medicine to follow up and discuss this with me further if they actually value customers. If not, so long, and thanks for all the fish!(Reply to their reply)Considering I can buy the same Roche machine you use for about $1500 I still dont see a justification for a full office visit charge each and every time. Im not asking to not be charged at all, Im saying charging for an office visit is not justified.Last I heard the medical business isnt doing too bad for itself, and as I said again this is the only practice Ive ever been to that charges a full office visit for an INR check.Good to know that a nurse popping his/her head into a door and saying INR is good and said Dr saying just continue normal dose justifies charging me for an office visit. Really getting my money worth there!

Dr. Forsyth took the time to really listen to all of my concerns and issues, without making me feel rushed. And he had a sense of humor and good insight.

I was Dr. Forsyths patient. I was under-impressed by his diagnostic still. He has the tendency to overprescribe unnecessary exam, and what made it worse is he is not familiar with the difference in billing consequence between diagnostic and screen exams. He misused a diagnostic code for my screening mammogram, and refused to correct, which cost me $300 out of pocket. He cares much more about billing your insurance than minimizing his patients financial burden.
