I had Kelly for a keloid removal & she was fabulous. Her bedside manners where great & she’s super lovely. I did get a charge 2 months later but apparently they didn’t change me my full copay. But it’s all good.

Very pleasant and efficient staff. Dr. Flynn is great. He is very thorough, communicates very well and answers questions so that I can u understand. Highly recommend him and the office.

I have been at this practice several times and each and every time it has been a delightful experience... your given appt. time youre actually in the treatment room being seen.. the front office staff is very pleasant and welcoming.. the medical assistants are very personable and comforting.. dr. I had never been there before, was 18 minutes late because I had never been on Duraleigh Road before. They told me I was past their 15 minute grace period and I would need to reschedule Bah, Ill find someone that wants my business. Still have never seen a doctor that will see me within 15 minutes of my arrival. Just giving fair warning. Congrats FDR on your missed appointment fee. That is the last money you will ever get from me.

Have been a customer of this practice for a year now. Contrary to other reviews I have seen, my experience with them has been excellent at all points of contact from the front office to the medical staff. I do utilize the Raleigh location and have found everyone to be courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Kelly Blount has provided the majority of my dermatology services and I have found her to be very competent, focused, and attentive to my questions/concerns. I would certainly recommend this practice to others without hesitation.

This was my first time ever in a dermatology office. Nothing was explained at all, they seemed very unorganized. I did not feel like I was helped, it was all very rushed. I knew after a few minutes I would not come here again and would ask my doctor to refer me to another place. The woman maybe she was an RN, I dont know, who came in to examine me said oh you have such and such something on my face a red blotch under my eye. But she never explained what it was or what could be done about it. Thats not what I came in for but since she mentioned it she could of let me know what she was talking about. She was quick in and out not explaining anything to me, I had questions.I had another thing that I thought was a skin tag and I asked one of the assistants she did not know, I said can you ask that woman to come in again. She did and said well if you want that off I could freeze it off but then it would blister and you would hate me - she said it was an age spot, well I can tell you this is a funny looking age spot never seen anything like it. She could of given me options but she did not.The two assistants actually were very good doing the best they could, it was not their place to explain things to me but they tried. And at the front desk nothing was explained about the billing. I ended up paying a fortune to get some skin tags cut off with scissors. I dont usually write negative reviews but I did not feel like I was helped, maybe my skin tags were just an everyday thing to them. To me this was my first visit to a dermatology office, wondering about something I have never gotten treated.No warm and fuzzy feelings at this place.

The whole experience was quite comfortable, from start to finish. Reception, assistants and Dr Fowler were all splendid.... My only complaint is that its Very Hard to reach a person to schedule an appointment! Phone tag is frustrating. If I wasnt on constant alert for a call back Id Never get results.

I arrived a bit early but the still brought me right in to an exam room. Doctor Blount understood my issue and took action to remedy my situation. Very nice, very professional. Everyone from check in to check out were super nice and helpful. Great place to be treated as a valued customer. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking a Dermatologist!

We went through six dermatology practices before we found Dr. FLYNN. He is a great dermatologist, does a thorough exam, answers questions, and has a good staff. We never feel like we are being rushed out of the exam room Plus, Dr. Flynn has a great sense of humor....very helpful to distract one when sitting there naked!

Dr. Flynn is fantastic. I have been going to him for years. He a few things very early. Not only is he medically excellent, he also has a great personality. I was impressed that he even remember some information about my family a year later.

My second biopsy there in a couple of years. Both times were awesome. Staff very friendly,knowledgeable,and caring. Was feeling very anxious not knowing what to expect . They made me feel at ease explaining everything. I highly recommend Family Dermatology to anyone needing a dermatologist.

This place is great!!! From the receptionist to my doctor Kelly you can really tell that all of them enjoy what they do!! She made me feel at ease about my concerns and was very informative when I had any questions. This is my dermatologist that I will continue to go to.

I created a list of all my current skin conditions for the doctor to review. First, I did not get to see a doctor. I saw an unsupervised PA. He did not bother to bring the list I had given to the nurse back into the examining room. He was more interested in using the spray bottle than talking about the list of current problems. He pushed a pill that would have made my skin burn every time I went into the sun for seven weeks in the middle of August.

Easy to make an appointment, only five minute wait when arrived. Answered my questions, performed some routine procedures efficiently. Showed they cared.

Had a great experience, appointments were running on schedule, the doctor was quick and efficient, and I was in and out in 15 minutes.

I like Dr Blunt. My only issue is that the two doctors my family sees from Family Dermatology will only see patients from the Raleigh office. I live in Apex, and they have an Apex branch, but you can’t see a doctor quickly at the Apex branch. So you take an appointment with a doctor at the Raleigh branch but can’t see that same doctor in Apex for follow up visits.

Have seen Dr. Flynn as a patient for many years as well as have referred many of my former patients. Very, very knowledgeable in his specialty, which is the bottom line for me. Staff superb IMHO.

I originally had a follow up appointment on the day of the recent predicted storm. I had not heard anything about a possible cancellation until a message came in about 20 minutes before my scheduled time. I was told to call back and reschedule. I did...and was told another appointment would not be available until April 27 (well over a month out). In my business...if you cancel an appointment at last minute...you do anything to get those effected into the office as quickly...if not within a day or two. An additional month of waiting was totally unacceptablle. I requested that the office manager or in charge please give me a call. She did...I explained the situation and that some additional concerns had recently come up which I needed to discuss with the PA...her concern was not convincing. I was able to obtain an appointment for April 8...however...it was with a different PA who was not familiar with the case. I do not see my returning to this practice as I am not convinced that the patients best well being is a top concern.

Provider was sweet at first but when I questioned her recommendation and needed clarification, a chill formed and eventually my daughter and I were politely asked to leave. My concern never was answered and I was not given the prescription I was told we would get. I would NOT recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff, hardly any waiting time, and so attentive to my needs. They are just the BEST!!! Not to mention my doctor. I have such respect and admiration for him.

I am a physician with 34 years experience. I was taught that you should go to the see the physicians that the physicians choose, since they tend to go to the best physicians. The physicians have insights into other physicians skill and thoroughness. The physicians and staff at Family Dermatology Raleigh are thorough and have skill. That is the reason to be going there. I say this since many primary care physicians are no longer getting their patients undressed as a matter of routine skin examination. How are you ever going to effectively examine the patients skin without observation? If you have a history of skin cancer or significant sun exposure or other skin issues, I would recommend following up with Family Dermatology Raleigh.

I was in the chair for literally 2 minutes (I sent a text that I was brought back and then looked when I was done). The doc came in and said that he recommends not doing anything and then said goodbye and I had to pay a $94.00 copay. Waste of time and money.

Weights are never long. Examinations are always thorough and painless… mostly. Dr. Flynn is insightful, personable, and funny. His staff is excellent as well, just not as funny.

Dr. Flynn was knowledgeable, kind, and explained carefully what he was doing and what he was recommending. The office was efficient and attended carefully to the checkin and checkout.
