I am not one for reviews, but I have had such a great experience here I have to share! Before starting with Dr. Ashforth, I was skeptical of chiropractors. I had a poor experience with a different one a year ago and it left a sour taste in my mouth. A massage therapist I know strongly recommended Dr. Ashforth and convinced me to give him a try. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am that I did. After dealing with back pain for a year and a half I finally have made significant progress. Dr. Ashfoth has happily answered all of my many questions and has been in a great mood every time I have visited. He has never made me feel pressured to come to him a million times a week like other places and always has had my best interest in mind. In addition to Dr. Ashforth, his wife Sunny is extremely nice and professional. She handles scheduling appointments and other tasks and is extremely attentive to detail and understanding. If you are trying to find a chiropractor, this is the place to go!

Have been seeing Dr. Ashforth for 3 weeks now and so impressed. Spine and pelvic manipulation along with deep muscle massage have given my sore back noticeable relief. Sounds corny , but I walk out of his office feeling like a new person.

Dr. Ashforth is truly a genuine caring medical provider. I rarely need his services (frequency measured in years) but when I have he has always given me the adjustment needed and gotten me back in order. Ive also benefited from his periodic health recommendations via email and believe many others do too. Who knows, you might could as well. Best wishes and stay healthy.

My wife and I love coming to see Dr. Ashforth. Reception is friendly and professional. Dr. Ashforth is knowledgable, takes the time to explain what he is doing, and really helps with our neck/back pain. And whatever else is currently ailing us. :-)) He is the best we have tried in NC and we drive over an hour to see him.

So happy I found Dr. Ashforth. Ive suffered from neck and shoulder problems for years. So when I moved here it was a big concern finding someone who could treat me properly. I did. Ive lived a lot of different places and have seen probably 15 or 20 different chiropractors in my life and Dr. Ashforth is my favorite. Hes skilled in may different modalities of Chiropractic care. So if one way isnt working, he can adjust. He even made it work when I had surgery and couldnt get into the normal treatment positions. And no harsh forceful movement here. Everyone in the office is friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Ashforth is the best. I originally went to him for a nagging pain in my shoulder blade, and he fixed me up in a couple of visits. I decided to start seeing him on a quarterly basis to keep me straightened out, and I couldnt be happier with the results. He is especially helpful for older athletes (Im 53) who want to stay competitive but may not recover from wear and tear as quickly as in the past. Staff is great, appointments are flexible.

Dr. A has been able to bring my body back into alignment, leaving me pain free multiple times. Im a powerlifter, and he is especially sensitive to my particular athletic needs and goals. I have been going since July of this year. I particpate in some heavy sports and I was having horrific pain in my legs and knees. Since going to see Dr. A and Susan Brown (massage therapist), I have decreased my pain and increased my flexibility and my ability to do heavy lifting (and therefore workout longer). I am so grateful to them. I believe that I am going to be 100% sooner than later and I will be able to meet my fitness goals this year because of their help.

Great practice. They care very much about patients, always strive to get you in asap if you need to be seen that day, and Dr. A is the sweetest man! He helped me so much with neck and hip issues. He also correctly diagnosed my chronic foot pain as stemming from extremely tight calf muscles - a few massages and stretches and years of pain ended! And he correctly diagnosed that my shoulder issues were not going to be helped by chiro and recommended an ortho specialist who turned out to be great. I very much respect a Dr who doesnt think hes a hammer and the entire world is a nail. He cares about his patients as people and wants them to be well and it shows!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Ashforths for 3+ years. Early on in my treatment, he recognized the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and sent me to see my medical doctor. Due to Dr. Ashforths skill and knowledge, I always leave his office feeling better! He provides great tips and advice on whole health, as well as chiropractic health. I met Dr. Allen when he came to my workplace to give a talk. I was blown away by his enthusiasm and passion for his work. I had been tolerating pain at the base of my skull for some time and decided to go see him. I began to experience relief immediately through his painless techniques, unlike my previous experiences with chiropractors. In addition, we made a plan to straighten my spine in order for me to continue my passion for riding horses well into my 80s. He is truly on your side ! During the process, I sustained an injury to my lower back and had just a month to heal before a significant horse training event and he did everything in his power to make that happen. Right now, I am pain free with increased mobility...took about 6 months...and ready for maintenance mode. This guy is truly outstanding and I highly recommend him !

Ive been a patient of Dr. As for over two years now. Ive been under chiropractic care on and off for over 15 years. In those 15 years I’ve never had a chiropractor as helpful as Dr. Ashforth. He has not only helped relieve the typical neck and shoulder pain I’ve experienced for many years but he’s also effectively treated extremity pains and injuries most people don’t typical associate with chiropractic care. I’m very active and am almost always fighting some sort of ache, pain, or injury. I always turn to Dr. A for treatment and sound advice – he’s an avid runner and not only has a good medical understanding of these issues but has experienced them himself. He’s helped me treat and reduce recovery time of plantar fasciitis, ITBS, and joint sprains – many times suggesting treatment options which provide no financial benefit to him. Dr A. is also extremely knowledgeable in all areas of general health (nutrition, exercise, etc…). If you are in need of chiropractic care, general health advice, or even athletes in need of a tune up you can’t go wrong with Dr. Ashforth. Oh and the staff is great too!

Each week I drive 30 minutes from Apex to North Raleigh to see Dr. A!!! The reason I do this is because Dr. Ashforth is THE BEST!!! My mom had purchased a Groupon a few years ago for a full examination, X-Ray, consult and massage. I decided to give him a try but never thought I would drive that distance every week for chiropractic care!! Well, when you find someone who truly cares about you and your well being, you would go out of your way to make those necessary check ups happen.....wouldnt you?? Not only has Dr. A been helping me with my chiro care, he is also genuinely engaged in my every day health. Six years ago I was diagnosed with Relapsing/Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. With each visit to Dr. As office, he is recommending certain vitamins, nutritional diets and exercises that will assist me in living my best life. We are always discussing upcoming races we are training for, ranging from a 5k to half marathon!! In fact, for the past 3 years he has sponsored our Walk MS Team right here in the Triangle. I bought a Groupon for a 60-minute massage with hot stones, and it was INCREDIBLE. There were no hoops to jump through before the massage, my appointment happened exactly on time and the massage lasted a full hour. There was a tiny little sales pitch which was completely justified since thats part of the point of Groupon. But other than that there was no attempt to up-sell and I left feeling like a limp rag I was so relaxed! I would go back without a Groupon!

Dr. Ashforth helped me go from back pain due to a workout injury that made it difficult to even walk or sit to running my 1/2 marathon a few weeks later. Dr. Ashforth continued to ensure my back stays aligned allowing me to successfully running my first marathon this past fall.

Dr. Ashforth has really helped me get my lower back to a place where I have limited to no pain. He cares about all of his patients and knows exactly what to look for every time you walk in the door. I go every month now.
