Dear Wakemed Heart Center. Thank you for helping my family. I have one suggestion. We adhere to the one person in the preop. But did not like not being able to love our loved one before undergoing life and death surgery. Would greatly appreciate a different consideration in this suggestion. Thank you

I recently had an appointment for a Heart Cath at WakeMed Heart Center. Dr. Neupane and his team took great care of me from start to finish. My husband and I were impressed with each and every team member we encountered from the time we walked in the door to the time I was discharged. My nurse Tammy was personable, professional, empathetic and very knowledgeable. She treated my husband and me with great respect and attended to every need. She and her team of nurses were in my room within seconds after pressing the nurse call button. Jason, the Cath Lab RN/Tech, walked me through every step of the procedure and kept my husband updated multiple times throughout the procedure via text. We could not have had a better clinical team or a better all around experience. Dr. Neupane made sure I understood what was going to happen, explained what my plan of care would be after the procedure, came to personally check on me three times during my post op care, and made sure we knew how to reach him in the event I had an issue after discharge. His bedside manner and disposition throughout my procedure was calming yet confident and reassuring. Every cath lab team member was clearly an expert in their role, introduced themselves and made sure I knew what to expect. I will recommend WakeMed Heart Center and Dr. Neupane over and over again! We had an impeccable experience.

I had procedures at the heart center on 4/16/2019. ALL of the team involved did a great job. they made sure i was comfortable, and that i understood what was happening. my special thanks to my RN, Adrianna, who stayed with me through the whole thing and showed caring and expertise that was above and beyond.

My husband has been going here for years and will not see anyone else when it comes to heart issues, I also see the heart doctors here. I don;t believe my husband would be here today if he had been anywhere else with his past two heart attacks. I have so much faith in everyone here for him as well as myself and the staff are wonderful...

Could not ask for better!! From my surgeon, Judson Williams, to all of the wonderful nurses who cared for me during my heart surgery experience - thank you!! Professional, kind, empathetic, responsive. We looked around the Triangle and found Wakemed H & V to have the most comprehensive treatment coupled with extensive experience. Highly recommend!

Service at the front desk is very poor. The receptionist is very rude and impatient

Our experience from the emergency room to the heart pain center was excellent. Everyone from the wonderful nurses,doctors and assistants made our concerning visit bearable. Everyone took time to explain the next steps to be taken and was very attentive to our questions and concerns. Thank you to Lauren, Michelle,Amy, Dr. Haag and Dr. N. for all you did for my husband!

Excellent staff here, they work together as a true team and really seem to care about patients.

Wake Med Heart Center leaves no stone unturned to make our visits comfortable! From the minute my husband and I drive up to the front door, and a cheerful volunteer brings a wheelchair to our car, we feel cared for in every way. Several times we have spent the night in their first rate hospital hotel which is only a floor above the doctors office.Of course the most important reason we drive almost 3 hours one way to get to Wake Med is because of my husband‘s heart doctor, Stuart Russell whom we followed from Johns Hopkins. One is lucky to have one such experience in a lifetime with a doctor of his caliber. Both a brilliant diagnostician and a caring he is a heart doctor with heart. His staff, headed by Pam Daughtry, is outstanding. More than once they have told us thst they are as as happy to work with him as we are to be in his care.
