She is knowledgeable about what was best for my skin and is so friendly and personable that 90 minutes just flies by. I had my eyelashes permed and eyebrow tint and wax, I have never met a person who can get my eyelashes permed as well as Kailey did! My eyebrows look fantastic! I would so highly recommend this place! Will definitely be coming back!

Let me tell you, I love love love going to Kailey for my facials/skin care. She is AMAZING! She is so knowledgeable and answers all my questions! My favorite part is she personalizes my facials to based on my specific skin care needs. My skin has improved so much since from my first appointment and continues to get better. Plus, I’m very self conscious of my skin and she didn’t make me feel bad at all for having certain issues. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending her to anyone. I always look forward to my appointments.

I have been going to Kailey for years. I didn’t hesitate at all when she told me she was moving to a new salon. I will follow her anywhere! Her attention to detail is on par and her knowledge is excellent! She always asks if there have been any changes in my skin care routine and accommodates to them. I had a facial from Kailey at Onyx, she was amazing. Her hands were gentle and I felt very relaxed. She was very personable and made sure she understood my skin. She heard my underlining concerns with my problem areas. She took her time and my face felt so very smooth after. I absolutely had glowing skin for several days after my facial. The overall experience was wonderful. The spa is beautiful and I have several more appointments already booked. Kailey is a must see, you wont regret it.

Gentlemen! If you’re looking to relax after a long week of work, or just want to treat yourself to something nice, a facial with Kailey is your ticket to nirvana. I gotta admit I was a little skeptical at first, not knowing what a facial was and thinking, “I can wash my own face”. But after giving it a try, and witnessing the hands of an angel, I’ve been back 3 times. I recommend booking the 90 minute facial because the shoulder, neck, arm, hand, scalp, and foot massage will put you in a state of relaxation only comparable to being back in the womb.

How do I leave a 6th star? I was one of Kaileys regular skincare clients at her last job and followed her here. I also got a massage from Kayla, and just sank into the table. This is a great place to come for a post pandemic spa day.

Jessa did such an amazing job fixing my jacked up, do it yourself hairtastrophe, I just had to boast! My hair was orange and yellow for at home due and also very dried out from not being cut for so long. She took such care with my dry brittle hair, paying special attention not to over process it. My last highlight experience at a different salon left me with chunks of hair breaking off.I also want to point out that all of the many many times Ive had highlights, I have always had a line in my scalp where they start the bleach. She blended it in so nicely and made it look super natural! Im so impressed by her artistic talents! Thanks Jessa, you rock!

Can’t say enough good things about this spa! I had been wanting to treat myself to a facial here for quite sometime, and finally did. My esthetician, Mikaela, was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. I feel she went above and beyond with what I was expecting the service to be. She recommended an additional skin peel to help give my skin a fresh start, along with a neck/shoulder and hand massage while my mask/peel were setting. Upon checkout, the gal at the front desk was super friendly, and I was also given 10% off my bill for being a first time guest. Definitely treat yourself to a spa day at Onyx, and support a wonderful local business!

I love the atmosphere of the Onyx, the minute you walk in everyone is so inviting, friendly, and kind. Ive been seen by Jessa twice and Im so impressed! I appreciate the way Jessa makes me feel super confident after a completely new hairstyle change. I also had a facial with Kailey, it was amazing! I loved how she took the time to ask me about my skin concerns and helped me choose the best product for my skin type. She had the magic touch, I literally never felt so relaxed after a facial. I finally had my first facial and WOAH! It’s been 3 days and I’m still feeling amazing. Kailey is not only incredibly nice and welcoming, she’s knowledgeable and definitely knows her stuff! She put me right at ease and asked all the right questions about my skin care routine, skin type, and concerns. I scheduled the 90 minute facial and it was so worth it. Kailey worked her magic and massaged out all my kinks and problem areas (especially my tense shoulders). I left feeling like a brand new woman. I’m not a high maintenance person and I rarely treat myself, but I’ve been converted! I will be back for more! Thank you Kailey!!!

Onyx is one of the best spa environments Ive been to. A lot of their marketing emphasizes recharging your soul and I genuinely feel recharged when leaving there. From the minute you walk in you can feel the calmness and peacefulness. I get facials and massages there, I recommend MAYCE!! Shes awesome at both. Her facials are magical, shes passionate about what she is doing, creative with her choice of treatment and also is very educational on what she finds within your skin. And I personally love to be educated on what I can do to improve my skin, even when not at the spa, so I always really appreciated that! She gives great recommendations for skin care routines. 10/10 would recommend!

Everything was perfect! I got the rejuvenation facial and it was 90 minutes of pure bliss! If you are looking for a facial and massage combo this is the perfect thing for you! Mikaela’s technique for the facial massage was SO good and honestly one of the best facials I’ve ever received! Such a relaxing and refreshing experience :)

Ive been to Onyx Spa a few different times. Went for 2 different massages. One was a regular and second time it was a pregnancy massage. It was amazing! I was really nervous about the prenatal massage but the girl (Sorry dont remember her name, she is brunette) and she made me feel so comfortable! Third time I went for hair and makeup for a special occasion. The woman I believe who did it is one of the owners. Something came up and I was only able to do my makeup and for the inconvenience she did not charge me which was incredibly sweet! I cant wait to go back!!

Emily was absolutely amazing. She did a cut and undershave on myself and both my girls. They loved the attention Emily gave each one. She listened to what they wanted and it made them feel so special! Thanks Em!

I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to write a review. Onyx Spa is amazing! The staff is always warm and welcoming. Everything is always very tidy and clean. I have seen Mayce and Karli for massages- both amazing massage therapists. I always leave my appointments feeling good, and happy I came. I have seen Tasha for a brow wax, and she is fantastic as well. All around, amazing spa that I would recommend to anyone. Do yourself a favor and indulge in a service here!

I was extremely impressed and pleased! Not only did my hair stylist Emily today do an amazing job, but I was extremely happy with my overall first class experience. Onyx really provided an amazing salon experience even amongst the current COVID pandemic. First, I was instructed to wait in my car and call for my appointment. I was also then reminded on the phone about their COVID safety policy and procedures, which it felt warmly genuine and official. Second, my stylist walked out to greet me, my temperature was then checked, and then I was escorted to the front entrance. Next to the front door was a sanitization station which I then sanitized my hands, and was kindly directed the chair. Everything was spotless!! Large beautiful open room, and Emily just made my haircut experience fabulous. There was plexiglass between the register as well as dividers between the hair basins. Once my haircut was completed, I was then escorted to the front desk where I didnt have to touch anything but my card to pay. Emily then kindly escorted me out the front, and even opened the door. It was seamless, effortless, and heart warming!For someone who has elderly relatives, far too much anxiety, and honestly over the past year not the best headspace for dealing with COVID - I was blown away. Everything was so detailed in response to someone who would potentially be nervous (perhaps even paranoid) to go into a salon or spa right now, and not feel any worry. I was able to fully relax and feel very calm afterwards. Plus my hair looks amazing!

I went in yesterday and got a rejuvenation facial and it was amazing! Kailey was great! I would highly recommend her and will be going back!

Finally got my quarantine hair under control, and they are as safe as can be. Temp check and hand wash at the door and limited number of clients allowed inside make a safe, clean salon experience. Ask for Emily, she was great!

This is such a great salon. The staff is friendly and inviting. Had my hair colored and cut by Emily. What an amazing job she did! I absolutely love my hair! I have been going to Onyx since it was just Mayce in another location in Puyallup. Mayce is incredible and makes you feel so relaxed and welcomed. I have had massages, waxing, and facials done at Onyx by multiple different staff and every time is wonderful. I leave refreshed and relaxed. I have also had a service during this Covid time and I felt very safe. I am an ICU nurse and felt very comfortable with the level of precautions and cleanliness of the spa. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting the best spa experience in Puyallup.

I have now been to Onyx twice. The first time was to see Jessa for my hair. My hair felt so good after she fixed all the split ends I had after quarantine. She is also the nicest and most professional, I am definitely going to her regularly!The second time I came back to see Kailey for a facial because I was getting some serious maskne from wearing a face mask all the time. Kailey did a great job doing extractions gently (not something all estos are gentle with) and her massage techniques are AMAZING!Their safety protocols and cleanliness is amazing as well, I felt very safe and everything seemed very clean and professional.If you are looking for a great place to take care of your skin and hair in Puyallup these are the ladies to see!

Wow! I highly recommend this spa for all your self care needs, massage/facials etc. I just had my first ever facial here and did a double booking so my friend could have one too and they are beyond welcoming and my esthetician Mikayla was awesome!

Alex is suppurb with hair, cuts and colours my curly hair with precision and grace. And Tasha was great with my eye brow tinting and was very helpful with skin care. And the water they provide is exquisite. All around great service and astedicly pleasing.

Onyx is very friendly and knowledgeable. I visit often trying all their services and love each one. My favorite is massage. I walk in tense and tight and leave relaxed, happy and looking forward to my next visit. Karli is great! She finds all the tight muscles and works out the kinks and mixes in relaxation massage. She suggests things I can do at home to help with my tight areas and it works! All the girls offer great advise. The salon is a very relaxing place. Looking for your new happy place?
