Dr. King was very patient kind and thorough. I have been very happy with her as my optometrist. Last week I had to go in to get my glasses fixed and her staff Heather and Jazzy treated me really well! I’d highly recommend.

Good place until I had an issue that completely snowballed. First pair the frame broke, two months later went into get the replacement and was told no longer made. They could have said that two months ago. So opted to get a different set, earpiece screw came out so I took them in, they replaced the screw upsidedown and it was sticking out an eighth of an inch, poked my finger tip so I called, they asked if I would bring them in and I said no and they didnt even try to smooth it over. Sorry eyeworks, Im gone

Entire staff was knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole time I was there. I feel I received a quality exam and had great assistance choosing frames.

They would not correct their mistakes so hard pass. Went in for an eye exam and glasses. Ordered progressive lenses. Alignment not centered leaving a thin slit for distance. No good. I changed to single vision lens vice progressive and the new glasses prescription was off on one eye. They would not fix and wanted to charge me $150+ since they said I use my one return. I would agree if it was preferential but this was not preferential, this was poor execution and just wrong. On the good side people were pleasant. Unfortunately poorly trained.

They eye doctor was fantastic! The training was a few stars. I would’ve been better off given training videos to watch on YouTube than have the tech spend a few minutes with me and walk away for $20. The tech doesn’t have to stay. Go with a good 10 min training video on an iPad. Then let the person poke themselves in the eye for a few more minutes until they get it. Lastly, come back in to check and ask if they have any questions or need any tips. Hopefully this helps.

The office was very clean and great customer service staff. They had up to date equipments. Many glasses choices. The doctor was great she was friendly and very knowledgeable and explained every step of the check-up.

I was able to make an appointment earlier than I thought. the staffs very friendly and check my temperature prior setting up for my procedures. I met the friendly Dr. Tan with clearly instructions during examination and deeply explained my eye conditions with suggestion whats need to be done.The facility very clean and wide open and lot of frame selections with the help of staff... only thing I dont know how the eyeglass will be made, and time will tell when I got the eyeglass from the lab.Overall, Im gladly made the right choice to visit this place for my eyecare.Thank you all and I would recommend to all of my friends.Update…I got my eyeglass within one week, it’s just perfectly fitted with minor adjustments by technician. I’m very happy and thanks to all staffs and dr. Tan.

Staff and Dr. Tan were very friendly and patient, especially with my 6 year old who I took in for her first eye exam. They helped make both of us feel welcome and comfortable and they were very thorough with all of the various exams, even going through the exams twice to double check my daughters eyes.

Been coming here for 7 years now. The Staff and the Doctor are amazing! They are very patient in answering my questions. They are Always very helpful and make sure you are 110% taken care of and plus have a great variety of great and stylish glasses and Sunglasses. I have now moved out on town but continue to drive 5 hours just to go here. Thats how great they are!

Dropped in to see if they could repair my glasses. Gloria greeted me with a big smile and replace one of the missing pads at no charge. I told her that it is certain she will not be getting any coal in her Christmas stocking this year.

I give Poway Eyeworks more than 5 stars if I could. The quality of their work and customer service is excellent. The visit was for both me and my 17 year old (annual check up). There were no issues and my son was pleased with wearing contact lenses again. Next time I need my glasses replaced, or when my son needs more contact lenses, Poway Eyeworks will be the place to go. From the moment I walked in the door that the staff was courteous and attentive to my needs. When it was time for my appointment the doctor was very understanding and knowledgeable. After my appointment the staff helped me come up with the best solution for my new prescription. I have never found a pair of glasses that I really liked but because of their great selection of frames and patience I came away with a pair of really great glasses that I actually like wearing. I cant understand the previous 1 star reviews. This was not my experience at all. I would really recommend Poway Eyeworks.

Unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Little knowledgeable about insurance. Training them especially the little one who work at the front desk. Lower her attitude. Sorry is the word. Use it to the customers when you make a mistake. Not arguing and show your attitude, young lady! Everyone make a mistake but dont cover it. Unhappy staff can make unhappy customers. I was going to add my family to do some business in this place to see optometrist but with this staff particularly, you lost four customers who would be happy to pay more for designers frames/glasses and sunglasses. Please train your staff to be more knowledgeable and friendly for customer satisfactions.

Always have a great experience. Dr was extremely patient when answering my questions. The opticians are always super friendly, and they were very diligent in making adjustments, so my glasses fit and center field-of-vision were tailored just for me. Eyewear selection is wonderful. Tons of options.

Rocked my socks. Customer service is outstanding. These folks are super friendly and spot on. The only complaint I have is the selection of frames. That comes and goes depending on what they have in. I was still able to find frames I wanted, but my wife had to settle on something she wasnt use to. Dont get me wrong, the frames are high end and quality. They have generics too.

They were quick to assist as I called in last minute for an appointment that day. They friendly and explained all of the exams very thoroughly as I had never had an eye exam since I was a kid. But, when it came time to purchase glasses, I asked if it was possible to purchase at costco and the receptionist didnt really answer and I felt obligated to purchase the designer glasses that were $250. I wish there were less expensive options or if they could further advise about price, that would be more helpful as well.

PROs:The Dr was very niceThey do have an excellent selection of high end frames.CONs:Customer Service policies are non-existence!Wont let me exchange or return the glasses that I hate and wont refund the contact fitting fee when the contacts wont fit.My stories...1. Dr. told me that contacts simply were not a good solution for my issues. Manager would not credit me for the $40 contact fitting. Even though the DR basically told me that contacts would not fit.2. So I bought frames, I have had the frames for less than two weeks, they are heavy bulky and not a good fit. They are leaving marks on my nose after wear for only 10 minutes. Basically, I hate them. When I contacted the shop they told me this.... Sometimes an adjustment on the frame or changing the lens material makes a big difference in the feel of your glasses. Adjusting the frames are not going to make them less heavy. I wish that I had never strayed away from the generic LenCrafters, I thought that a smaller shop would have better customer service.

They dont understand that the customer is always right, even when wrong. Today over the phone I gave her incorrect directions for how to locate my insurance info. She had an attitude and as I talked, she just stopped listening and put down the phone, as if saying whatever. My wife, who was there in the Poway store, picked up the phone and I was still talking! Never again.

They deserve 0 stars! What a disappointment! Save your money and go to LensCrafters- they have a return policy!
