I was very pleased with the experience overall. I was in the waiting room with two small children, and was checked in quickly. Upon check in, the woman who was taking my information offered a clipboard with coloring sheets and crayons. My daughter was happy to color and was distracted from having to wait.The doctor was very professional and kind. He gave me further instruction and was able to fill my prescription right there so I didnt need to wait until morning for other pharmacies to open. I was very pleased with this experience.

Your staff is professional, polite, and friendly. During covid o came on for a test. Only to learn my blood pressure was extremely elevated and could have been severe. They have me prompt attention and the best care. Which if they hadnt caught it I may not have been here today. Through out 8 weeks of illness they treated me like family going above and beyond which is a blessing. Thank you Erin

Given the stressful environment these people have to work in, I think they do a decent job. I went on a Monday late afternoon to get a covid test. The place was packed. I was told the wait was an hour and a half. It took about 3.5 hours from the time arrived to left. I like that they let you wait in the car. That’s why people are complaining people came in after them but got treated first, those people were waiting in their car. There really aren’t many options for urgent care. I had just left tower health because they wouldn’t do a rapid test as they were conserving them for only those 65 plus. The estimated wait there was the same. One recommendation would be to give a longer estimated wait so customers don’t have false hopes.

Took me over an hour just to get into this room, and then ive been sitting in this room for over an hour. HIRE MORE PEOPLE! I will say everyone is nice, but thats because no ones doing anything.

My overall satisfaction with the services I received here on my multiple visits; past and most recently, are beyond what I can express in words. Everyone has always given me their full attention and respect. Wait times are always going to fluctuate no matter how prepared you can be, but every time I was there the time was hardly noticeable. Giant time wasters. It takes you 1hr to even be checked in. Nearly another 1hr to be seen by the nurse. Then when you have a room and they say the Doctor will be with you shortly what they actually mean is just sit in this room with zero updates for over another hour. Zero respect for their patients time. And zero courtesy on giving an update on when you will be seen. Dont recommend coming here you are better off going elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible experience! The one worker named Chris is completely unprofessional! Using profanity, talking negatively about patients while in earshot of all patients in the building, and spoke just as rudely to her coworkers as she did the patients. I will be contacting someone higher up first thing in the morning to make sure no one else ever has such an awful experience for something as easy as a physical! The women that work up front at check in tho were AMAZING! Handling how awful their coworker spoke to them with absolute class and professionalism!

Excellent customer service experience provided at the Pottstown location. Everyone was welcoming and professional. In and out of facility in less than 30 minutes. Definitely will go there in the future. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

I would recommend this location to anyone. They were pleasant and information and most of all caring while we were dealing with a health issue. Nurses called and asked how we were doing, took the time to listen to our concerns and offer things to try, and recommended we come back in to get checked out again because she sensed our anxiety. It seemed the doctor and nurses really cared about getting me and my husband well. I appreciated that so much because we have a 4 month who needed us to be healthy.

Extremely rude staff, wouldnt even let me speak or explain. they were just yelling at me when i had a 102.9° fever. lie straight to your face and treat people ahead of you that arrived later and were taken back after you. didnt even look at my weight or anything had to ask me and added an extra 100 pounds because they didnt care to listen. telling me to lose weight when im already underweight. kinda just said you have covid get out of my face since they didnt care to find out what i really have. kinda ridiculous to have a person with a 103 fever lay there for hours crying because theyre in so much pain. going to real doctor now. maybe theyll care and help me.

Amazing staff, both clinical and non. The nurses are extremely caring and you can just tell its not just a job too them.The doctors are EXCEPTIONAL! You can feel the passion in the physical experience. They truly care about your level of health care.Cant wait to visit again later on down the road!

This is a wonderful location. Friendly staff, clean, pleasant environment. I have never had a bad experience. Any concerns and questions are always answered, and I have never left feeling like I wasnt heard.

Have been sitting here now going on 4 hours and all we did was register I watched 3 people come in after me and leave before me. I thought to myself before I came here I havent had a positive experience here but that was 5 years ago thought Id try again guess I was wron.

Waited over 2 hours for a pre-employment drug screening. Once the entire waiting room was empty (besides me!), I was informed I’d been “forgotten about”.

Everyone was very polite, very helpful and explained in detail what i needed to do. Thank you guys for being such great employees and care givers.

Frank was a compassionate PA and addressed my concern efficiently, and Este was a lovely nurse with a wonderful bedside manner. I feel like my issue was addressed in an evidence-based, sensible, and efficient manner.

Great experience getting xrays and immobilized my knee. Everyone was friendly and got me taken care of quickly. Highly recommend.

The Nurses used very foul language and very unprofessional. Very rude and inattentive.. unskilled in simple blood drawing.. when called back about further issues they refused to help and suggested to go to primary care doctor.Absolutely terrible staffing there both in person and over the phone..

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. especially to the rude short lady who was very unprofessional. She deserves to be fired on the spot!!!

First time at one of those medical facilities. I have to say I was surprised to see what was there, like a small hospital. Good patient flow. If I ever need their services again I would not hesitate.

This Patient First was awesome! We didnt have to wait long, they were very friendly and was thorough in checking my husbands issue. The staff checked on me in the waiting room and that impressed me a lot! I felt they cared about us, even if it was later at night. They were even able to give my husband a prescription before we left and we didnt even have to wait for it. I am definitely coming back to THIS Patient First if I ever have an emergency again. The start to finish of this experience was amazing and felt extremely safe. Even as I am waiting in my car for my visit, a staff member was cleaning up the parking lot to the ensure a safe environment from infection.Above the moon for ratings for this group of people!

Waited 2.5 hours to be seen. Watched them treat multiple patients before me who came in after me. Doctor did not introduce themselves when they finally came in. Nurses sat there on their phones eating goldfish the entire time I was waiting. Very poor experience. Will never recommend.

I was very pleased with my visit to Patient First. The staff was very professional and friendly. I was seen quickly and the medical staff was very knowledgeable. They listened to me and gave me information about my medical problem. I will definitely return to Patient First in the future.

From the office staff to the Dr, my experience was great as usual. This is the only office I go to. I’m usually self pay and they have a payment option if needed. The dr was very friendly and searched the computer to make sure I got the best medicine at the cheapest price available, which says a lot about them as a person. Most don’t care, they just give you medicine and you have to pay whatever it is. Definitely would recommend and will go again.

A wonderful experience from start to finish - I went in for a COVID test and upon explaining how I was feeling, Megan the PA jumped right into action and said we should do a few different tests to make sure it’s nothing else. Jo, the medical assistant was just as wonderful as Megan and made me feel so comfortable. I felt heard and cared for. I had a better experience here than a primary doctor I visited before coming here.

I went into Patient First for second time now . They are consistently efficient.The environment was pristine and protocol was smooth. Employees were professional and knowledgeable. The patient absolutely comes first inaddition to their patience. I would absolutely refer my friends and family.

Service is excellent. Didnt have to wait long to be seen, in all fairness, wasnt busy when I went. The receptionist is a really nice person and helpful. For uninsured patients, out of pocket expenses are very reasonable compared to an ER visit. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Patient First.

My most recent experience at Patient First in Pottstown was definitely very satisfactory. From the check-in to the medical services provided, I was treated with respect and efficiency. I would recommend this site to anyone in need of immediate care. The facility also followed the strict guidelines for Covid-19 and I felt very safe in the environment.

Horrible nurses specially the one in pink scrub was very rude very disrespectful to my 6 year old daughter unnecessary attitude . The doctor so dumb not smart at all try pull my baby nail off . You better off going patient first Wyomissing they at least know what they doing ,more kids friendly and care about their patients

Everyone was wonderful!!! Very kind and personable! I even had my 2year old son with me and you guys treated him soo nice with giving him stickers snacks and juice!! You took amazing care of my dad and listened to every concern we had. Thank you so much for all your help!!!!

Staff was amazing and got me in as quick as they could. Given my injuries they were very gentle with me and gave me the best options for care. (This was also not the first time I’ve been here, all my other visits have been equally as good. Which is why chose this center which was 30/45 minutes away from where I initially was injured)

Went here to get COVID testing before travelling. Receptionist that I interacted with on the phone was very helpful and friendly, and the provider that tested me was fantastic, although I dont remember her name. Had a very short wait. Overall great visit!

This place has little to no compassion for their patients. They know when a patient is unable to advocate for themselves properly due to things like anxiety and do not care. They refuse patients basic needs of having a support system available. I suggest you go to urgent care if you want support.

Went for Covid test and after explaining to the woman at desk that we had been in contact with someone who tested positive, she turned to her coworker to go off about how “I better wash my hands realll well after this one”, and “Just another lovely day at Pottstown Patient First. Huh?” Maybe if you hate your job that much you should just quit rather than be a jerk talking like that in front of patients who are already stressed as is. Safe to say we walked out and went to a much better, more professional urgent care to be tested. Worst urgent care I’ve ever stepped into!! And they also didn’t sanitize the lobby once while we were there and several people came in and out. Never coming back.

Everyone was very friendly and polite and they made me feel very comfortable when I was nervous. They took me back very quickly and got me out even quicker!

Do you only have 1 doctor working here? Its frustrating to wait >1 hour in the patient room for the doctor to see you. I get that at times, this place is busy but at least let patients know that instead of leaving them waiting and thinking you forgot about them.

So pleased with this office. We came in for a small thing that could have been much worse, but Dr. Dwyer explained everything so nicely and clearly. Everyone was professional and welcoming. Will definitely come back if necessary.

Patient First in Pottstown has always given me excellent and efficient care. Their doctors are caring, kind, and pleasant to be around. I have always left with a solid diagnosis and treatment. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a doctor.

I am never this person but I have to be today. This patient first made me feel very VERY unsafe when I came in. I came in after calling about just getting a culture and antibiotics for strep throat since my son was tested positive for it the day before and I was symptomatic. Shortly after signing in a woman walked in and said she and her family of 6 were exposed to covid and asked if they should wait in the car or come in. The man at reception said for ALL OF THEM TO COME IN AND WAIT IN THE WAITING ROOM ! I am a 36 week high risk pregnant woman and that to me was unacceptable. They ALL didn’t need to come in here to register. The mother could have registered her 4 children. So I got up and asked if I could wait in my car until I was called to reception because I felt unsafe. I was informed if I went to my car they had no way to tell me when to come back in. I’m literally parked right in front of the front door. So now I am sitting in here as far away as possible fearing for the baby that I am due to deliver in 10 days and myself. And these seats are not 6ft apart! They are a good 4ft apart so I feel really sorry for whoever gets seated next to a covid positive person.

I have never had a bad experience at this patient first. The staff is very friendly and the doctors are wonderful! I’ve come in for a vast array of things from CDL medical card to an ingrown hair to pneumonia and it’s always been fast, pleasant, and sometimes down right comical. The staff is wonderful and remembers who I am usually. The receptionist I had this past visit also taught me how to make this urgent care my primary physician. I would recommended this place to anyone. The doctors are also very knowledgeable!

The reminder email with important COVID-19 testing protocols went to my Junk folder, so I didnt know what to do when I arrived. Please figure a way to deliver the email directly to an Inbox. Onsite, I looked for directional signs at the front door and there werent any. I had to enter the building to ask. The receptionist was reasonably understanding. Fortunately, my exposure was second-hand/indirect and Im symptom-free. However, I felt badly thinking of the possibility that I could have been putting others at unnecessary risk. Front-door onsite directional signage would have avoided that awkwardness. I hope these notes help the staff and other patients. As for the timing, politeness, and professionalism...excellent.

This facility is clean and the staff is extremely kind. It is close to my house and I like that the lab work is done on site. The wait time is short and the staff is attentive as well as efficient. I would recommend this Pottstown Patient First to anyone.

I brought my daughter in on a Sunday because I thought she may have an ear infection. Everything about our visit was pleasant and professional. The staff were very friendly and were all great with my daughter. Our visit was efficient and easy.

I was checked in under 2 minutes upon arrival & was back to be seen by doctor in less then another 2 minutes. Everyone was extremely kind & professional. I was taken for X-Rays and was treated with great care. The doctor explained my injuries so that I can understand & provided a detailed treatment plan best suited for my overall injuries. This facility appeared to be very clean and were following Social distancing protocol because of COVID-19. The staff were quick, efficient & friendly, which you often don’t find places that meet all of those qualities. Well done Patient First of Pottstown.

The doctor whom saw me was very nasty to me and my 5 year old son. She refused to walk into the room to talk to to us so she spoke to us from the hallway.After the doctor ordered an X-ray to rule out pneumonia the X-ray tech when out of her way to talk me OUT of getting an X-ray saying “She didn’t feel like I needed it despite the fact that I was experiencing excessive coughing, difficulty breathing and chest pain.Once the X-ray results did comeback the doctor was very adamant that my X-ray clearly depicted I had pneumonia caused by COVID, something she has seen many times according to her.Only to receive a phone call at 8:11pm stating that the radiologist reviewed myself and my 5y.o son’s X-rays and he’s saying that we do not have pneumonia; I am flabbergasted by this new finding and the level of unprofessionalism at your facility.Terrible service

Patient First seems to get a bad rap (this is Pottstown, after all, people love to feel entitled). But to be honest they have never been anything but polite, prompt and as efficient as possible with my family. We are usually in and out right away and I prefer to take my son here over his regular pediatrician because the nurses here actually care and are friendly and patient. Patient First has saved my butt many times when Ive gotten home from work late and someone needed to see a doctor. I appreciate you!

Be prepared for LOOOONG WAITS. The staff checks people in, then tells us to return to our car. 2 hours 7 minutes later, figuring we were forgotten about, was told to come in and wain ANOTHER HOUR. Left after 3 rd wait to never return again.

The staff and doctors at Patient First were caring and quick. I will definitely be back when I need to - hopefully not soon though. :)

I dont understand why this place takes so long even though there were only 3 patients sitting with me. Very annoying. I wasted 3 hours.

The facility is immaculate. The staff is thorough and easy paced, putting you at ease. The doctor was quick, but very efficient, understanding, and asked all the right questions. I had my medications in seconds and was on my way. It was very busy so I had a 40 minute wait to see the doctor, but that was understandable given the amount of people coming in. Extremely disappointing visit, i am the HHA of someone struggling with dementia that makes her a huge fall risk and when she is nervous it makes it difficult for her to move. I asked for someone to help me the transfer and the lady that came out was nasty. Yelling at someone with dementia to stand up and then giving me a hard time for bringing her there for a covid test. It is clear that she has no regard for anyone beyond the bare minimum that her job requires her to have, disappointing to see that in healthcare.

Staff is TERRIBLE!! I’ve been waiting to get seen for 45 min without ANYONE telling me that he’ll be with me shortly.. The Staff attitude is non Friendly and Non Verbal towards the patient.

I will never come here again and I actually used to like it here. They were very unprofessional today. I registered at 9:30 and left at 11AM without being seen. 5 people who came in AFTER I did were seen before me. They didn’t let me make an appointment because it’s “walk in” service but if that’s the case people should be seen in the order they come in or then it feels like I’m being discriminated. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a minority or they think I’m poor. But it was uncalled for. I had to register 5 times at that because everyone was getting checked in besides me. Wasted an hour and a half of my morning for nothing. I had to go back to work .

The doctors and nurses were great! They all had good conversation and were very kind to me. The lady who checked me in was not friendly or patient with me. I was in a lot of pain due to a sprained ankle, and she had an attitude and did not make me feel comfortable. The wait time wasn’t too bad, I was just in a terrible amount of pain so it probably felt longer.

Excellent service on a Sunday morning when the only other option was the ER. They took care of my problem quickly and professionally—which also applies to every visit I’ve had at Patient First.

I thought that the doctor was really unfriendly, but it could have been that he was having an off day, I don’t know, but I almost felt as if I was a burden, just made me feel kind of awkward. He did his job though.

I can even make Patient First my primary doctor.

My main reason for today visit was to get Covid19 test and anti body test. KipThe physician was very cut and dry. It was like pulling teeth to get him to do his job.. For the money you get no conversation. Dont call and ask for direction on what to do because whoever it is that answers the phone will not give you the correct information. Make sure you stay on top of billing or you will get billed regardless of your insurance

Terrible. Should be sued! For starters when I called, they had my sensitive information combined with another patients! I got my COVID 19 test from them. Waited days for the result. I called and the receptionist said my results were not in. I call back the next day and a nurse tells me my results had been in for DAYS. MY RESULTS WERE SENT TO THE WRONG NUMBER. I repeated my number to the receptionist multiple times prior, she even read it back to me. Do your job! Do HIPPA laws even exist anymore?

The front desk and Medical assistant were great very nice . But the physician here not so much , poor bedside manners. I’ve been here twice one (once for me and one time for my son) and both doctors that we experienced were so nonchalant and didn’t seem to care much at all. Seem like the doctors need more training , they seem like such robots with no social skills . Could have had 5 stars if the doctors were a tad bit better

Worst experience. They charged me $250 just to tell me what I already knew and kicked me to go to the hospital. Do not waste your time and money with these people. Go to a real doctor.

Awful system and operating style, scheduled an appointment, poor communication. I show up on site after selecting a same day appointment, system changed me to next day and I received no notification. EVEN WHEN I WAS CHECKED IN AT THE FRONT DESK, sat in my vehicle for an hour before I called to find out what was glinting on and get a “oh we were about to call you”

I have been to patient first in Pottstown several times. I have always been treated with respect and kindness. They have always got the correct diagnosis. Then the medication is provided right on the spot. It is great not to have to go to the pharmacy when I dont feel well. I love everyone at this location. It is an awesome experience.

Very unsatisfied with the service here. I felt like I wasted my time with the two visits I made. My first visit was no help and had me wait for some time to get a certain test done, which I did not need. Then, at my second visit, they ran some tests and gave me a phone number to call for an appointment setup. It was for an office thats permanently closed and their alternate phone number was disconnected. I called them again and it was for another office whose practice was totally unrelated to the problem I am currently having. I felt like I wasnt a valued patient and they sent me on a wild goose chase. I will not call nor do business with them again and will be looking for another, better clinic.Stay away from this place and stick with your local doctor. These people do not care about you and are only in it for your insurance and money.
