Ive just had my 5th foot surgery with Dr. Brown and theyve all gone so well and so smoothly. Dr. Brown is so skilled when Ive brought up foot pain problems to him and his office staff is very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Brown.

I liked D Brown from the beginning. He asked how he could help and was very understanding and courteous. We did x-rays so he could see inside the problem. He also order a CT scan for further detail. He showed these both to me and explained what he saw and what he could do.I had surgery in June and have been surprised to have relief from the awful pain I had prior to surgery. I still have tenderness around the incision and need physical therapy to strengthen areas that have been out of wack for two years.But, I could not be happier with the results!I am very pleased with the services and manners that Dr Brown exhibits. Definitely a gem in the Gem State!

I came to Dr. Brown because he was so nice when my husband saw him a few years before. He didnt hesitate to recommend surgery to me and took immediate steps to get it scheduled. His assistant, Jenna, was also super nice. From the MRI done at Northwest, to the Ekg and Lab work done at Kootenai Clinic, everyone was amazingly helpful and efficient. (Wasnt too fond of the Covid drive-thru test).Best treatment I could have ever expected at Kootenai Outpatient, from the minute I walked in the nurses were amazingly friendly, everyone that took care of me made me feel like I was their only patient that morning. Dr. Brown explained everything, asked if I had any questions and next thing you know I was headed home. Dr. Brown called my husband, told him everything went great.Thank you so much for providing such wonderful service! I am somebody who has grown up seeing orthopedic surgeons because of a genetic condition I suffer from. I have had nine reconstructive surgeries by some of the best in the world. I recently began having moderate pain and swelling in my right foot and decided to make an appointment with Dr. Brown, so I wouldnt have to travel to Seattle. I was so excited to be seen because the pain was driving me insane. The night before my appointment I was called and rescheduled two weeks out because Dr. Brown had to be in the OR. I was understanding about this and was excited for my new appointment to get some kind of relief. On the day of my appointment, I waited for 45 minutes to see Dr. Brown and once he did come in he didnt give me the time of day. I began explaining my pain and he interrupted me and asked me to stand. When he saw that my foot was in neutral, he came to the conclusion that nothing was wrong with it. He didnt ask me about the quality of my pain, the time of day it occurs, or methods that make it better. I told him about the swelling (didnt have any at the moment because I have been laid up sick the last few days and the swelling occurs after movement... he would have known that is he would have listened to me). I felt as if he did not take me seriously and down played the severity of my pain. He did not empathize with, nor did he offer any solution whatsoever. I am very frustrated as now I have to make a trip to Seattle to be seen by someone who will take long enough to listen to me and exam me thoroughly. Very unfortunate as I would have loved to have a good doctor in Coeur dAlene... take my advice and travel somewhere else for foot problems & deformities.

Dr. Brown did both of my surgeries and was a great doctor throughout both experiences. I recommend him to anyone who needs ortho care!
