Jein is awesome. She communicates the process from before you get there to post-care. Before doing any work, she draws your brows in to make sure you are comfortable with the shape. I get so many compliments and wish I had done this sooner. Jein is the best and I highly recommend her! Next up, lips!

I am obsessed with my tattooed brows - and the best part... you cant even tell they have been tattooed! My husband was actually nervous for me to get them done but once they healed, he was like I would never know that you got your eyebrows tattooed, they look good! She did an incredible job with matching color and shape to give me a natural look. Jein also did a wonderful job with explaining directions to me with what to expect before, during, and after the process/treatment. For me, there were times during the tattooing process that I forgot I was even being tattooed as it didnt hurt at all (I have a half sleeve arm tattoo and so I was expecting that kind of pain, but it was seamless for me). Jein is an expert at what she does and you can see the passion she has for cosmetic tattooing. I would recommend Jein without any hesitation to anyone considering getting their brows tattooed!

I could not be happier with the powder tattooing that Jein did on my eyebrows. She explained everything in detail and has such a good eye to detail. She listened to exactly what I wanted and did an excellent job. I hate needles but this procedure was painless. I loved the whole process and would highly recommend anyone to Jein. Jein was very professional and super personable! Her depth of knowledge and skill at her craft provide a ton of confidence when having permanent cosmetic tattooing done. She vets her clients thoroughly before beginning to make sure her services are a good fit. Jein paused for consultation along the way and allows her clients to give input (and ultimate control) throughout the design process which I thought was exceptional. I complimented her when my brows were done, something along the lines of “You did a really great job!”, to which she humbly replied, “WE did.” If you’re looking for a talented professional, who is highly skilled and makes the procedure a wonderful experience, I HIGHLY recommend Jein!

Jein is thoughtful, detailed and a true perfectionist. My eyebrows were healed by day 6 and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. They have the natural appearance I was hoping for, and it feels so great to wake up and not worry about my brows! She was very realistic about my skin type and sensitivities and the risks involved with the treatment in order to make the best decision for me. Jein King was amazing! She made my Indian style make up look natural, yet dramatic. She spent time on every detail and was so friendly. She also did makeup for my sisters and mom. Ive had my makeup and hair done by Jein five times and have known her since 2013. When you go to get your hair and makeup done for a special event, or just to treat yourself on a night out, you want your time being pampered to be a memorable one. That is exactly what Jein creates, a memory. The warm and friendly environment she builds is like a breath of fresh air. Jein is a sweetheart and her fun personality is easy to get along with. Her talent is incredible. The magic she creates with her hands and ability to make your vision come to life on your face, even with little direction, astounds me. Your makeup doesnt sweat off or irritate your face, and I have sensitive skin. Her work really is just impeccable and I cant say enough about it. When it comes to hair, it is insane how she can create such complex looks and make it look so easy. Plus, your hair stays styled all night and you dont have to keep adjusting it! All in all, Jein is an amazingly gifted artist and its always a pleasure working with her! I would highly recommend her to anyone! (:

She was not receptive to any of my opinions stating that I had body dismorphia, my face lacked symmetry and I had been drawing my eyebrows on so bad for so long my opinion was irrelevant. As soon as they healed there was no color left except for the very side points which was actually a huge relief because my eyebrows looked like they belonged to two different people. I ended up crying on my way home. I am too scared to attempt a touch up because she will disagree with any opinion I have and I do not want her design to be permanently on my face or to waste another dime or ounce of stress on it. She states you can only hope to achieve 25% symmetry AT BEST, AFTER the application. Her photos are dramatically edited so much so I didn’t even recognize myself when she posted a before/after photo. Don’t let them fool you like they did me. She was rude and unreceptive. Seems she forgets her clients are the ones that have to walk around with her design on their face. A complete waste of nearly $600. I do not even want to post my real name because she came off that aggressive and hostile during my appointment I fear she would retaliate or in the least cuss me out.

I am renewing my vows with the love of my life and wanted to do it in Portland. There were so many hair and makeup artists to choose from, I had no idea where to start. A friend of mine told me about Jein King and I saw her webpage with before and after shots which were gorgeous. I made an appointment for a trial hair and makeup session. What I loved most about Jein is not only that she has major skills and technique with hair and makeup, but she got to know me as a person and was open to teaching me a few things. By the end of the session I knew I would be looking forward to working with her on my big day.

Jein is incredible! Besides the fact that she is punctual and an absolute sweetheart - her makeup literally looks new and fresh on my brides faces when I am saying goodbye at the end of the night. I dont know how she does it! My clients continually rave about Jeins abilities and their overall look on their wedding day. Brides often worry about makeup running down their face or fading as the dance party gets going... but not with Jeins trusty hand. I am continually impressed to see how fresh and perfect my clients makeup looks at the end of the night - I would say that is a great investment!
