I was admitted for an attempt on my own life. The staff in the ER were decent, but let me take the time to tell you about the mental health staff that assisted me on the psychiatric ward. When you go up, it’s scary at first, you’re alone, afraid you’ll be locked up, but I promise you they make you feel safe, they work their rear ends off to provide you with what you need, and lord if you have the chance to meet Ms. Sherri, she runs that floor like no other nurse could. All of the nurses are wonderful, polite, understanding and patient. The staff of Spindletop are also wonderful. They listen and care without judgement. I can almost guarantee that if you work with them and be honest and open, they will work with you.Also best hospital Cheeseburger by far. It’s truly a wonderful place. 10/10.

Back in January I went to their ER because its close to home. Bad mistake! I was in there for uncontrolled bleeding from a previous surgery I had done in Houston. There was only one nurse in the ER at the time and most of the time I was completely alone-still profusely bleeding. I was also denied undergarments to replace the ones that were ruined from bleeding. The worst part is, I was there in the room for four hours only to find out the ER nurse practitioner refused to examine me because my surgery was done at a different hospital. He then sent me home bleeding. It was a scary and unfortunate experience there at that ER. Never again!

Worst hospital ever food nasty rude ppl Don’t work with the guest

My sister is in this hospital if I had my way we would transfer to a different hospital. After a heart procedure, she was not feeling well she asked the nurse to come in and check her vitals the nurse told her to get back in bed there wasn’t nothing wrong with her. She was having chest pain and the nurse wouldn’t do anything about it. They have been rude and very uncooperative. We will NOT be back to this hospital ever again

They gave me meds I was allergic to. It has been in my chart for the last 10 years but last night all of a sudden it wasnt there. Worst hospital ever. They dont care for their patients.

We sat in the waiting room with my 4yrold running 103.6 fever. No one was going in or coming out. Your more likely to die in the waiting room

This is the worst damn hospital ! They need to close it !!!!
