This office has went down hill. They only offer telemedicne which is fine until you can not get ahold of any one and they ask you to come in for vitals. I am a repeat patient and the office doesnt call you back or answer. I was never presented with a prescription or treatment plan. I was on hold after someone in schedule department was supposed to get that info for me. Instead i was placed on hold so long, that the phone transferred me back and it hung up. I have called a different times of the day, only the schedule people answer and apparently thats all they want to do. I paid for a visit that was not worth it.Update:Office manager reached out to me to discuss this issue. I still stand behind the level of care the office gives is not up to their usual standards. I understand this is hard because things went from in office to vitural and can be hard to adjust. Making the appointment was smooth, and having the zoom meeting with NP was great but it was the lack of follow-up that I would have received normally was not there. I guess I am old school, you get your prescription and treatment plan during the visit. I was told that I would be given that after review of my medical records/paperwork and did not. After everything, I would do this again.

This is the best weight loss clinic I have ever been to so far. The staff here is fantastic, and I love all the providers. I do see a lot of reviews of people commenting on being late and not being seen. This is still a business, and I recommend that if you have an appointment time and are a new patient to be there early. They do make you fill out paperwork, and that is not part of your appointment time. They are extremely busy with other appointments, and they do not cut into other patients appointments. So be respectful of their time, and they will respect yours.

Everyone was GREAT! The front desk staff was really nice, the medical assistants were very understanding and Dr. Garza was so sweet. I did read the reviews before coming in but these reviews are wrong. Arrive on time with everything ready and there wont be an issue.

Nothing but great experiences since I have been seeing the NP Katherine Collier in Frisco. Thanks to her I am back to a happy and healthier me. Unlike most doctor appointments, I actually look forward to going. Chelsea at the front desk is always so welcoming and friendly, and Karinna the Medical Assistant is personable. It makes a difference when you love what you do and let it show. Thank you!

I have been going for two months and couldnt be happier with the staff. Always smiling and very friendly and professional. I have already lost almost 20lbs and love that they dont hassle you to buy additional supplements or products. Not a crash diet. I still eat everyday foods just not all the processed high fat foods. I feel amazing. And I can still have a glass of wine or a drink with my husband on date night. Love love love their approach to weight management.

I’ve been seeing the NP, Katherine Collier for months and I am so thankful for her help! She is so kind and truly cares about her patients! I enjoy our appointments and learn so much as she makes my overall health such a priority when making decisions and recommendations on how to help me lose the weight! I’ve never been this successful and I owe it all to Katie! This office is staffed with wonderful people who make you feel safe and welcome!

Nurse practitioner Melissa Pham is really nice and knowledgeable! I have been seeing her for a year now and shes helped me so much on my weight loss journey. I appreciate all the staff; they always greet everyone with a smile.

Do not ever be late for an appointment. Called to let them know I was running late. They said thanks for letting us know and see you soon. Arrived at 10 min past my appointment time only to be informed that my appointment time had passed and I would need to reschedule, next available appointment time would be 3 weeks out. Seriously?!Ive been a patient for years and never been late so it seems that the front desk could have been more understanding or at least clear about this policy when I called.

Dr. Garza has been amazing at helping me manage my weight. At the beginning of 2018, I weighed 160 pounds. It was the heaviest Ive ever been. It was very disheartening and depressing for me. With her and her offices help, Ive lost over 20 pounds and hope to lose another 20 pounds to get to my 2014 weight. Dr. Garza is very professional, but also empathizes with her patients. She answered all of my questions and concerns, and also made me feel at ease during our appointments together. She is a master at her own craft! Thank you so much Dr. Garza and the entire staff at Weight Management Medical Associates!

Update: I should have read the comments on this doctor first. Now I see that there is s lot of reported poor customer experiences!Wow what an experience. It was so over the top I stopped in the lobby to write about it. The office was recommended to me by a nurse manager I know. So I made an appointment. Over the phone things were great. I was actually excited to come visit the office. Sadly today Fallas had an awful rain storm and trees were downed. Yes by the time I got to he office I was 10 mins late. So I called and through the rain I’m asking for location. I gave them my name and let them know I was trying to locate the building. The nice lady in the phone was not sure if the name of the building so I said I would take a chance. She gave me office number and suite. I get inside. I’m soaked because of the torrential rain. Another lady who works in the office said she knew how I felt because she had come in from it. I told her who I was and she asked about paperwork. I’m an HR manager I know the importance of paperwork and following directions. I was honest and said they told me I could fill out paperwork when I got here. All of a sudden I was told we can’t take you. You need to reschedule. WHAT!!! After waiting almost a month, fighting the rain, looking for the building. Now I have to reschedule for the next month. I am actually so very disappointed. I have had a really terrible customer experience. I wish they would have just told me over the phone to go home. Now I have missed work, wet and disappointed. I’m traveling all month of September and can’t come in.

Very friendly office. Everyone who works there talks to you like a person and not just a patient. Dr. Pham spends as much time with you as you need to discuss your situations, goals, challenges, accomplishments and overall health. Very happy with my weight loss journey with them!

Absolutely love Dr. Garza , her amazing nurse practitioners and front desk staff. They are always so thorough on explaining everything to me for the best care and results I am wanting. Very educative on what their plan of action is on how and why. Very clean office. I also never have had to wait long like some other dr offices.

06/23/2018 - Update, 11 months 90 pounds down!03/05/2018 - Update, 8 months and down 75 pounds. I couldnt be happier!So far so great! I lost 31 pounds in the first 8 weeks. Im on week 11 and I am down 40. I told Dr. Garza she is my hero. She told me that it was all me. All I know is, at age 44, with Dr. Garza and her staffs help, I am FINALLY succeeding!

Wonderful experience. Great customer service from staff and Dr. Garza is very kind, and knowledgeable. Also, they have great products to add with your daily meals in addition to your weight management plan. Normally, I would never purchase meal replacements or protein mixes but these are really delicious.. Highly recommend her practice.Lynne Murphy

Very unethical Billing practices. Lisa in Billing is disgusting. I actually lost weight but not returning due to being lied to and talked to like Im not worth getting a check for being billed wrong.

Terrible customer service from beginning to end. When they first answered their phone I was shocked by their rude phone etiquette! This place was recommended by a trusted friend, but if it werent for that I wouldnt have gone. On my visit, I was rescheduled for a later time and so didnt mention it till after I paid my co pay. In my appointment, the nurse rushed the conversation, didnt explain their solution & instead gave me a packet to read and call back with any questions. They didnt complete all the tests that go with true first time visit because Im certain i was their last appointment. Instead, they scheduled me to come in again to complete that separately instead the day of and I explained how important it was to me. I gave it 2 stars because at least they have results, just not the customer service/ care knowledge.

I have been going to Dr. Garza for over 18 months. I have a great amount of respect for Doctor Garza. She is a working mother and I love she places motherhood first. However the treatment received by her Nurse Lucy is just unacceptable. I was extremely disappointed. She was very unprofessional and blandly rude.

My appointment was at 215 and I arrived at 220. I called the number as I waited in the lobby for 10 minutes only to be told my appointment was at 215. I expressed my arrival time and was met with attitude and disregard. I will not be back seeing this is how new patients are treated. I am new to the Texas area and am new on my job. I had to work over to make sure I was allowed the time off to make this appointment. I will be taking my patronage elsewhere.

After using vacation time and driving almost an hour, I was 5 minutes over their 15 minute widow due to traffic after waiting almost two months to be seen and was turned away even though there was NO other people waiting. Will never go back here. They could care less about you and just want your money.

Lost 60 pounds with Dr. Garzas help. Great doctor. Great staff.

Dianne and Cindy are so kind and helpful. We were having trouble finding a med that worked for me. They didnt give up when I wanted to. They keep me accountable and after years of the scale going up, it is now going down. They are more than PAs nurses and medical staff at Dr. Garzas, they partner with you and really care. After receiving terrible judgement from medical staff and doctors for years, their compassion for the difficult journey to get healthy is refreshing. I am treated like a worthwhile person at this doctor.

Wonderful staff and very professional. Understanding and vested in your weight loss success.

Was worth the 3 month wait to get in here. I felt like dr Garza really cares about my concerns. She even offered to take over my thyroid care. Cant wait to see some results in a month.
