Wonderful place. Very professional and courteous. Help me find a great pair after trying pretty much everything that could possibly work with my facial shape. Very honest as well. Honored the discount that I didn’t even know is there . Totally recommend to anyone who is looking for glasses or contacts.

Heather is amazingly patient and as a store manager, addressed all our needs. Even said they could easily order clear masks in prep for my moms (hard of hearing) eye exam. I wish more offices responded that way. Thank you everyone for being so understanding and helpful!!

Worst service ever. Could not get things right after many tries and chances. Even went as low as saying the prescription not being right was my fault. Finally returned glasses and got refund but had to wait another 4 weeks and remind them about sending that too. I was told when i reminded them that the check was mailed out the prior week. Magically 2 days later it showed up dated the day i called to remind them. Seems they like to lie too. Would not recommend giving money to liars who can not do job right.Response from comment:Just to clear this up, it was the plainview office, I definitely wrote review for correct address and no I won’t call you.(that’s them blaming the customer again) I refuse to do business with you ever again.

Everyone at the office was very kind and helpful, they helped me pick out a frame and explained all the lens options. I was happy to see that each frame I tried on was cleaned. Thank you!

Optical Image has been my go to place for my eye exams, regular glasses and sport sunglasses. I get the best service and they have a great selection. Heather will make you feel comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend it.

Terrific experience - Great frames and genuine personal service

I was looking for a new optical shop and I had heard good things about Optical Image from my friends as I live nearby. I just picked up my glasses and I love them! They have a large selection of frames to choose from, and plenty of unique independent designers which is awesome. I tend to take forever to pick out a frame but both of the Heathers were super patient with me and very kind. I also highly recommend Dr. Maresca for the eye exam, her prescription was spot on!

Have to say was the most thorough eye exam I have ever received. The doctor used a retinal camera to take a picture and found a spot that no other eye doctor ever mentioned to me. The staff was warm and friendly and it felt more like a family environment. Highly recommend Optical Image. I will definitely be sending all of my family here! Great selection of eyewear too!

I absolutely LOVE Optical Image and it’s owner and employees. The most unique and amazing frames with personal one-on-one assistance to help find the perfect one. I gotta thank Heather for her awesome service, especially during this pandemic. I had just gotten a new pair of glasses right before this whole mess began, and accidentally broke them. Although closed due to the Covid situation, Heather took the time to come in meet me (masked up of course), and got my glasses replaced at no cost through a warranty. You just don’t get this type service anywhere. She truly cares about her customers and has fairly priced eyewear. Highly recommended if you’re look for a new eyeglass shop. I don’t leave reviews usually but this experience was so bad I feel the need to warn other people. I recently moved to Plainview. I went to Optical Image and I have to say it was probably the worst retail experience I have ever had. They were using very high pressure sales tactics to try and get me to purchase more expensive frames. The “manager” Heather was extremely nasty. It was so bad I just walked out. I live less than 5 minutes from there and will never go back and wouldn’t recommend anyone else go there either unless you want to be pressured and belittled. Awful experience.

The optician, Heather, replaced the missing nose pads on my prescription, free of charge. One of the few opticians open during lockdown.

I have been with Optical Image for more than a decade and each time I visit I get red carpet service. Heather works my me, my wife and my three children and knows the likes and styles of each child. When I once damaged my glasses and need them to drive, she met me hours before the store opened so I could go to work. In another instance, she stayed late and worked with my teenage daughter to enable her to get her contacts placed for the first time. I have never worked with someone who is so generous with her time and cares so much about the people who come in her store. She and her team are like members of our family and I highly recommend Optical Image. I recommended Optical Image to at least two dozen other families and they each share my opinion and are permanent customers of the store. The entire team is wonderful, but Heather is the heart of the business and she makes you feel like you are the only one in the store when you are working with her. We trust her judgement and skill 200 percent!!

Best experience I have ever had in eye care. My appointment was on time, they knew how to handle insurance, great service, all costs were fully explained prior to the service, had everything I need. I will never go anywhere else.

Do not trust this place. Sold me upgraded lens on Maui Jims....when I checked with the company rep, he sold me the cheaper lens as the upgraded pair. Dishonest.Edit to answer the owners question to me. Yes thats when it happened, 2012. I posted it recently, because that was the most dishonest retail experience that I have ever had in my life. It doesnt have to be recent for me to post my experience. Also, I remember Heather was a partner when I purchased my glasses, in fact I dealt with you while trying to resolve this when it happened. I know for a fact Heather was there and knew about this when I was sold the upgraded glasses that I didnt receive.

Very helpful and kind staff! My arm broke off my glasses and couldnt be fixed, but they found a new set that would fit on my frames so I didnt have to get a whole new pair!So thankful!

Love the place and the staff!!! Both Heathers, one I believe is the owner are so helpful. I had broken glasses that she immediatly swapped out a piece and had me on my way in minutes even on an especially busy Saturday.Highly recomend!!!

Horrible experiance. Tried to charge me extra ($50) for a test that I did not ask for and claimed I should pay since my insurance doesn’t cover it. The staff was unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable!
