There’s not enough I can say about Dr. Mark. I’ve been in pain for years with my neck and lower back. I tried everything. After only my second visit words can’t describe how much better I feel. This is the first time I’ve been treated by a Chiropractor and it has been a great experience! I am writing this LONG review with tears of gratitude in my eyes. I have been suffering from anxiety & panic attacks along with debilitating physical symptoms that tend to accompany intense long term “fight or flight mode” for over a year. They happened shortly after my son turned 1, and it happened completely out of the blue. I seriously thought I was going to die. Over that year, I developed digestive issues, unwillingly dropped 60lbs without trying, and had an extremely clouded head. After seeing 4 different Doctors who were quick to dismiss my suffering and just offer me an anti-anxiety prescription. I decided to look into more natural healing methods that could give me a little relief. I saw that chiropractic care could help with anxiety, but I was apprehensive because I was 1. Scared to be turned away due to not having severe pain that was associated with my spine. 2. Chiropractic care isn’t highly promoted to treat for other symptoms aside from back/neck pain. So I stumbled across Proactive Chiropractic Group and Dr. Mark had a new patient special going on, and he just looked like a kind soul. I thought, “I’ve come this far, what do I have to lose?” I AM SO HAPPY I WENT. Everybody in the office greeted me with genuine smiles. I told him how nervous I was during the consultation and he TOOK HIS TIME to diminish my worries. We went over my long medical history and he explained how a lot of my symptoms could be caused by the subluxations I may have. He did X-Rays and he showed me exactly where my issues are. That day I also had one of the worst migraines in the back of my skull and radiated to my temples. After going over the x-rays he asked me if I was ready for the adjustments and we proceeded forward. Each step of the way he explained what and how the adjustment would go. As soon as 1 minute after doing the adjustment to my neck, my migraine disappeared! Then proceeded to the other adjustments and instructed me to drink plenty of water. I was in tears after my appointment. He was gentle, thorough, and so kind. He actually CARES about his patients. He doesn’t rush you if you have questions or concerns. If he isn’t sure about something you ask him, he takes time out of his busy schedule and tries to find you an answer. I have never met anyone in the medical field who would even come close to Dr. Mark. He also called me the day after my first appointment to see how I was feeling and gave me more tips to a speedy recovery and the treatment plan for the following 6 weeks. They didn’t not accept my insurance, but they worked with me on a price per session and gave me options for payment plans. So helpful for a Stay at home Mother on a tight budget. I have been getting adjusted for 4 months now and my anxiety and panic symptoms are 90% gone. No more migraines, and my digestive issues are pretty much back to normal. I also haven’t had any sinus/allergy issues either. He has given me my life back. Even though he will tell you “It’s not me, it’s your body healing itself.” He has given me my life and my health back. I can now be the fun loving mother to my son, and a great partner to my hubby. I never knew chiropractic care could help me, but I am forever grateful that it did. I still have a ways to go with some other issues but with consistency and determination, I will get back to 110%. I also have brought my (now 2y/o) son to be adjusted as well and he looks forward to seeing Dr.Popcorn (Dr.Mark called the adjustment sounds popcorn and it stuck with my son.) I started having pain in my lower back area that traveled to my mid back area and started to feel like it was on fire. So I went to my primary care and they told me that its all muscle strain from being a stay at home mom and that I should do physical therapy and take muscle relaxers. I left the office more confused then I was when I walked in. So I went and saw Dr. Mark for a second opinion. He knew pretty much from me just telling him my symptoms what my issue was. I was having nerve pain from twists in my spine. Ive been seeing Dr. Mark now for almost 2 months and the burning is completely gone! My experience at Proactive Chiropractic Group in Plainfield has been great. With lower back pain and neck stiffness becoming more of a norm for me, I had been contemplating visiting a Chiropractor at some point. When I saw Dr. Marks Facebook video, I decided it was a sign I should make an appointment. The visit started with talking about some of my issues I was experiencing and how it impacted my day to day life. Dr. Mark was very detailed on the benefits of chiropractic care and really pushed me to come up with ways improving my back/neck would further improve my life. We took X Rays and went through them the next visit. Once again, Dr. Mark explained in detail the state my spine was in. We developed a scheduled plan that we were both comfortable with keeping. After my first adjustment, I immediately felt better in both my neck and lower back. I have been able to get back to day to day items that prior to my visit I would be in pain doing, such as cleaning the floors and shoveling. I started my journey with Proactive Chiropractic in December. I have been in pain for years. You name it, it hurt. Dr Mark explained everything and educated me on what can cause the problems and how it all stems from your spine. Since receiving care, my 3-4 a month migraines have gone away; my daily headaches have reduced to maybe 1 a week; my low back pain has reduced and he has guided me to keep up the care at home on my own. I was never one to think a chiropractor could fix my menstral cycle, but turns out i was wrong. Not that i enjoy this feeling, but after 8 months of not having my period it was crazy to see after a few sessions i got it back. I really believe in chiropractic because it works and it helps improve with your daily activities at work or your routine at home. I had a really bad back problem before I went to PCG. Almost right away my chronic back pain started to improve. I’m not in so much pain any more and I know PCG is gonna help me heal completely once a complete my treatment. All of the personal are very nice and very attentive. I definitely recommend their services.

There is so much that can be said about Dr Mark and his entire staff.Everyone there is so pleasant and they always greet you like you were family.For years I have had lower back pain caused by the sciatica nerve that would go from my back all the way down my left/right leg causing excruciating pain interfering with my daily life routines. After Going repeatedly to Doctors , therapy and taking numerous pain relievers and muscle relaxers I decided to give a Chiropractor a try.Dr Mark explained in detail how the spine works and went over a treatment plan with me to help get the lower back in working condition.After 1 month of treatment I have noticed a tremendous change in my pain level.1) No more radiating pain down my entire leg2) No problems for 5 weeks with my Sciatica nerve pain3) It doesnt hurt to turn over in bed anymore4) No more Dizziness and balance problems5) Went from pulling myself up by my railing to go upstairs to walking up the stairs normally.I am so pleased by Dr Marks treatment and enthusiasm and would highly recommend him for you. He feels the accomplishments right along with you every step of the way. Not believing in Chiropractic care during my life I now see was a huge mistake. Dont make it yours!
