Dave over at Levity made my experience today extremely comfortable. It was my first time doing a float and I gotta say it wasn’t what I expected in my mind after doing research on it. It was 10X better than what I could have ever expected. This was a Calming, relaxing and ABSOLUTELY healing experience for me. And the aftercare was very much needed, Dave was attentive in talking with me on what I had experienced today. The tea was a beautiful touch after my experience! I LOVED this experience, it was something I will hold as one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself in my life! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that people check it out. Its ironic to call it sensory deprivation because it actually activates your senses a lot but it changes the medium at which you interact with them. So its like eating an ice cream cone with a tooth pick. The very design changes your interaction with the object (the object in this scenario is the self both physical and mental). I cant recommend Levity412 enough for all your float needs. This was my first time trying out a float tank and the owner makes you feel completely at ease. The space is super clean and tidy and relaxing. Ill definitely be returning to float here again. One tip i would suggest is to go into the float with intentions so basically just questions big or small that are going on in your life that you would like to resolve or ponder. Youll be surprised at the solutions that may come to you while floating. Highly recommend floating here!

Nice place for a float! Its definitely worth trying at least once, if youre not claustrophobic. I had an amazingly peaceful experience and several days later my skin is still super soft. It was very clean, the employee was nice, and the rainfall shower head is a nice touch.

A few things...Cons: Not for the disabled. The beds arent easily accessible.Only soap after the float so your hair will remain....well... Disgusting.Pros: Emily. Went well out of her way to assist us with anything we may have needed.Very clean.Aesthetically pleasing.Decently priced compared to its competitors.Final summation: I would like to go again either alone or with someone I wasnt worried about. (80+ yo individual) If you have tinnitus, factor that constant noise in as its extremely heightened and distracting. A great place for an interesting experience.

I had my first float a few days ago and it was amazing! I didn’t know what to expect and I was super nervous about the whole process because I’m pretty claustrophobic. Dave gave a super clear run down of the whole experience and answered every question I had before I even asked. The hour goes by so much slower than I expected, i really got a chance to disconnect from everything and just focus on my breathing and my mind. It was so awesome being able to relax in such a therapeutic and healing way.

I absolutely love this place. It is a very clean facility with a relaxing atmosphere and all of their staff are kind and accommodating if you ever have any questions or special needs. The only downside is they offer plastic water bottles which is kind of a bummer for the environment, but outside of that, I have no complaints and I totally recommend this place!!

I have never been more relaxed in my life. I’ve tried massage and yoga and meditation and this is the first time I’ve ever felt fully relaxed. I’m a PhD student and am in the middle of finals. This is exactly what i needed. It was spotless, and everything was thoroughly explained to me. There were even thoughtful touches like makeup remover and Vaseline for cuts etc. I can’t recommend this enough.

The term sensory deprivation tank sounds frightening but the only thing to be afraid of is your own mind. At first I think I was only hesitant because I knew that every function my body was used to had to be let go. And once you can accept that and naturally let go of it, it is an incredibly surreal feeling. I swear at one point you would think you were floating in the hand of God, and Im not religious. I dozed off multiple times only to be woken up by my body jolting (as it normally does when falling asleep) but I got out of the tank feeling like my reality had been completely altered in the best way. The space isnt too small and it isnt as intimidating on the inside as it looks on the outside. You learn a lot about yourself in there, and leave feeling happy and relaxed. DO IT! Thats all i can say.

Ive had such a rad experience at Levity. Ive floated now about 4-5 times, and each time is a new experience. My first float, I had water in my ears and it took some time to get out. Since then, Levity has offered free custom fit single-use wax ear plugs and they were AWESOME. No water in at all. Dave and the whole team are super professional and really care about your experience from start to finish. Your first float youll take some time to get used to it. Your second float youll start to settle in. Your third float and beyond are just what the doctor ordered.

I was able to float for my first time a few weeks ago, and let me tell you, there is absolutely nothing like it! It’s a little intimidating at first, but the owner and workers are so friendly and love to answer questions. They show how everything is sanitized, and how it all works (which I really appreciate). The actual floating was, what I would consider, magical. As someone who meditates often, it was a great opportunity to reach a deeper level of tranquility. It definitely did not feel like an hour long! Getting out of the tank was crazy as well! Felt like I could have stayed in there for much longer. I will definitely be making this a habit. I had a really great experience with Levity! The facility was extremely clean and peaceful. I appreciate that the spa is decorated with local art. The music that is played at the beginning and end of the float is also by a local artist. The shop is donating a percent of proceeds from April to autism and plant a tree for every review they get! Its really wonderful they use their business for good. The owner was extremely accommodating, friendly, and genuine. It is important to love your career and he truly does. Speaking with him was very nice and he is very knowledgeable on the subject of floating. The float itself was a unique experience that everyone could get a different benefit from. The place also had a relaxing and calming ambiance. The only minor critique was that the tanks were not temperature controlled. So there was a temperature difference between the water and the air in the tank. It may affect the experience, depending on your preference.

Levity is a great place to try sensory isolation. Not only is the facility top notch, the owners are as well. I went for 2 hour session on my first shot, I only stayed in for an hour and a half, they discounted my session to the same price as the 1-1/2 hour session without my request. After my session I sat in their comfy lounge and spoke with David for over an hour. Bottom line the facility is great and the owners make you feel like friends the first time you meet them. I will definitely be back for another float.

Ive wanted to do this for years. Its definitely a unique experience and I highly recommend people give it an honest try. This was my first time and the experience was very complex. I felt relaxed but also came out of it a little tense. I tried following the guidelines provided in how to hold my neck while in the tank but I feel that I might have strained too hard. The hostess was wonderful. She was very sociable and friendly. Wonderful ambiance and I hear that supposedly the second time someone tries it they become much more relaxed.

I was given a brief run down of the procedure and was left to experience 60 minutes of pure relaxation.
