Always short staff call bells are left on for 15-30 minutes at a time EVERYBODY IS QUITTING! SO that tells you how this place is ran! RUN RUN FAR AWAY! DON’T PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM.

A great place to work, and a great team to be a part of. Also, the facility itself is beautiful and the residents are happy and you can tell the difference.

Lucky to be a part of a team who works together for the best interest of our amazing residents and families. It’s a great feeling to come to work knowing you’re going to see smiling faces everywhere you go on people who truly care about each other.

Aside from the beautiful exterior and interior of The Sheridan, it is really the management and the staff that makes this community excellent. Every team member demonstrates dedication, passion and HEART for our residents and it is truly such a wonderful place to work and live.

The pictures of this place are beautiful and the staff was very inviting in this difficult time of social distancing. I had placed a $500 deposit for my Mom to go here and they even offered a discount approved by the Executive director since they will not have to feed her since she is on a full time feeding tube. This was very clear from the beginning, hence the discount offered by the facility. My Mom really didnt want to leave her home but I finally was able to talk her into going to this facility after so many discussions. Then I called about bringing her in the next day or two and they pulled the rug right out from under us. They said the person above the Executive Director wasnt comfortable with the feeding tube and told her she could not stay there. I spoke to my Moms nurse in the hospital and she said make sure they are clear it is a G tube which is very simplest to work with. My Mom could teach someone in 10 minutes as she has done with others as she does 90% of the work. They would not return my phone call on the tube and instead just texted me for the address to return her deposit.Nothing like scrambling at the last minute after working hard for months to find her a place to stay. If they tell these stories before your loved one arrives, are you going to trust them once your loved one goes in.

This review is for the Memory Care Enrich Program at The Sheridan. My mother became a resident in November 2019. The director of memory care is such a caring person and effective leader. She has taught me a lot about dementia. I was encouraged to text her directly with any questions and I always receive a prompt reply. The staff are attentive and patient. The activities director is clearly passionate about getting the residents engaged. Entrusting a loved one to a memory care facility is by no means easy but I feel confident my mother is being looked after in the best possible environment.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. My dad is there in the memory care unit. The staff is so kind and caring and loving and attentive and helpful! Every day I think of them and all the things they do for my father and Im extremely grateful. Hes been in a few facilities before and has always been begging to go home. He actually enjoys it here! I am removing a star because if your loved one can’t answer their personal cell phone ( out of batteries or have dementia and can’t figure it out) then the front desk only answers during business hours. There is NO way to check on your loved one and make sure they are ok off business hours. Or what if your loved one calls you in the middle of the night and they’re having a panic attack or delusional episode? You are completely unable to call and contact the staff to check on him. I feel that is totally on except a bowl. It’s too bad that they have this problem with staffing because the rest of the facility is amazing.HOWEVER - their palliative care was severely lacking. He wasn’t changed except once a day in his last week. If you’ve ever known someone in that stage of life you know there are issues where they need to be changed and flipped every few hours. I was disappointed at how they let him decline in the last week. They just gave him his pain meds and left him alone, not even checking on him for 12 hours at a time (I know because I was there all day at the end).
