Not good. Went there for a hunting license and the Clark didnt know what he was doing, took forever then he finally got to help but ended up with two pieces of paper because of his mistake

Convenient parking right in front (Green zone). Well lit store & easy to find merchandise. Staff member helped me search for exercise equipment & graciously tried her best! They were out of 10 & 15 pound dumbbells, but she advised me when the next shipment would arrive :) 😃

This store has got to be one of the most poorly managed stores that I have ever been to in my entire life. They have workers just standing around or sitting around staring at customers until someone stares at them, then they offer help. And rude! just plain rude workers. If a customer doesnt hear you correctly after you ask them to wait outside until their number is called, have some patience and/or repeat yourself and talk in a nice manner. Dont shout at them and tell the to get out of the store until I call your number. This store needs a whole new staff. PERIOD.

They had me waiting to check for availability of a chair for 10 minutes and no body helped me.I had to ask them again if they would help and finally some showed up, they need better customer service

Store is kept clean and organized. Employees are very helpful without being annoying. Good brands at decent prices, especially if you bring in coupons that they have on the store website. 5 STARS!

I came into Big 5 looking for a folding chair they had advertised online but they didnt have any in stock. This happens more often than not when I come to get an advertised item thats on sale. Thus the 3 star rating.

They restocked the store. Customer service is still a little slow, but precautions are being taken. Must wear mask when shopping. We buy fishing gear and licenses to enjoy the outdoors.

Do not buy a firearm here. Just went to pick up my shotgun before I move to LA. They had called me two days ago asking me to pick it up and I said I would be by today or tomorrow, I was too busy with moving so I came today and was asked “did you call us”. I said no and the woman behind the counter refused to release the gun saying they were too busy. There was one person in line behind me. After going to my car I came back in and told them I don’t want to buy it any more but she refused to give a refund without receipt....hello, you still have my gun!! I will be filing a dispute with credit card company as I’m not coming back here any time soon.

Decent stock for the store size. Nobody goes out of their way to help, but they will help when asked. Clean store and you can find coupons online. Not a specialty store for sure but a stable place especially in a pinch for shoes, baseball/softball, football and soccer gear. Athletic and workout gear, basic snowboard/skiing gear can be found, as well as camping supplies. You can also check out availability online before you make the drive.

I went about thirty minutes before closing and received great service. Prices are decent compared to others who have similar products. I will visit again for sure.

A bit disappointed with the customer service at register. First time there I had a question about their return policy and the cashier pretended not to listen but was so interested in a conversation with another employee at the other side of the counter...😏🤷‍♀️

Very helpful! One of there staff helped me take my sister both in and back to our car. She can not walk and uses a wheel chair therefore, taking her in to buy shoes for her was made so much easier. Thank you for your help. Big 5 in pinole. We will be back again.

Went inside to purchase some heavy bag gloves for my son and the place seemed like no employees were around except for the very cute Filipino gal up front. Grabbed what I needed and went straight to the counter. Was lucky enough to be in line next and get help from this big 5 cutie. She was kind and her smile even added more to her beauty. Id definitely go back just to check her out and maybe make my move. Or perhaps buy a gear for Isiah.

Big 5 has really gone down hill. I stopped buying shoes there 7-8 years ago because of the poor quality. The quality hasnt gotten any better, the service has been really poor & like everything else its more expensive. Its time to boycott all corporations people! Enough is enough!

They have a wide variety of sports equipment for sale here and lots of sneakers too.

Good place to buy your sports needs. They have weekly sales. Some sports things are missing, and can use much more shoe choices. But overall the best place for your workout gear, sports gear, and hunting gear.

The staff is always helpful. The selection is pretty good, not amazing but good since they always have exactly what I need.

Been going here along time havent had a real problem. Ammo prices on sale have been good.. CA cant get home delivered ammo any more. They also have gun maintenance supplies.And t- shirts shoes and stuff.

Deceded i wanted a crossbow one day so i walked out the door with one. rad.

Good for cheap shoes, but thats about it. Big 5 used to have a huge fishing section, but now its just a few rows of garbage. They have altered their business plan to cater the soccer mom instead of the outdoorsman. Sucks for me

They have a great selection of all seasons merchandise, all you will need to make daily home, work or outdoor tasks manageable. The staff here is friendly and very helpful, thank you guys.

Decent selection. Mostly friendly staff... At first they were kinda strange and ticked me off... But I frequently visit and buy things so they dont follow me around as ask questions.. Id you know what I mean. I get it, but I dont like that kinda stuff.

Ice always liked big five and I had a bad experience there today.Im so upset I wanted to call corporate headquarters.my brother said just let it go.I dont think I will go back there again.something was signed wrong and instead of the manager working with me she basically said customers change signs.I am 67 years old and am not going to change a sign for three dollars. I dont appreciate being treated that way.
