BEST Pharmacy ever! The staff is ALWAYS friendly and kind. Consistently go out of their way to take care of their patients. Ive been with this pharmacy for years and I love them. If there are issues, I always get a call with an explanation and a resolution. Time frames have never been an issue. I get calls from live staff to advise of new info. When meds have expired they take the initiative to call my Dr, or then call me to tell me I need to see my Dr. Who does that?? McDowell specialty pharmacy that who! Thank you all for the work you do.

Completely unaware of some processed re refill. It has been continously delaying my prescription refills with no valid reason. Because of my insurance restrictions I cant switch, suggest to Stay away if you can.

This pharmacy used to be soooooo good! They were so flexible and had various options. I don’t know what changed but it’s so difficult to get a delivery at home anymore. I think someone assumes that because it’s covid and many of us are working from home that we can sign but forget we’re working and at times I cant get the door or put a conference call I’m leading on hold. Sadly I have to switch to Walgreens because at least they are still 24hrs near me and I can go at my convenience.

As someone that has suffered from IGG immune deficiency I have dealt with many Pharmacy providers over the years, but I have never encountered the level of incompetence that I have had to put up with this provider: Every shipment there at least 4 items missing or more, and if it was not because I have some items left from my previous providers I could not do my infusing that has to happen every week! We are talking about my upper respiratory immune system not about pimples here, and this people cannot even send an EpiPen with ice to Arizona! Twice so it is bad even when I have asked to please and we confirmed with their Pharmacists that yes the EpiPen cannot be over 86 degrees and needs to be shipped with Ice!! It is an ordeal to have to inject yourself every single week, but then to not have what you need to do it with, and have to expend an hour or longer in the phone every week arguing to get what you need and then make sure you are home not just for one delivery but for two is just too stressful: This people are incompetent however, there the only one approved by my insurance SO I AM TRAPPED how is this fair??

Horrible service have tried to get my prescriptions filled with three phone calls and then they say they wont fill it for one more day its a monkey job of a business that theyre running and Im at heart transplant patient and its the rejection drugs that Im trying to get I feel theyre putting my life in danger. They have been more helpful and corrected some issues

Terrible service. Had issues getting my prescription that went on for weeks. They will charge you for a shipment and never ship out medication till you call a few times.

I am so disappointed with the stress that CVS Specialty has caused me. Getting my medication shipped to me is a constant battle; so much so that I have to stay on top of them just to get my order shipped. They try to push for online/app orders and refills but when you do that they don’t contact you if there is something holding up your medication. When you already have to deal with the stress and symptoms of taking chemo, worrying about whether or not your prescription will be filled this month should not be another thing that gets added to your plate. My insurance has not changed, my prior authorization was just renewed, and I put my order in on time monthly. What else do I need to do to make sure I have my medication without any sort of interruption?

The pharmacists went out of their way to help me with an annoying insurance issue. They followed up with me throughout the process and always answered the phone promptly when I called back. Thanks for the great service!

I would give a ZERO but no option for that. I’ve had my immunoglobulin infusion approved since April 2nd. It’s the 15th and I can’t get it shipped by CVS Specialty Pharmacy. I’ve taken days off without pay to test to get this shipped. Spent countless of hours on the phone with multiple people, sent emails, MY INSURANCE has even gotten involved, my doctor’s office too. Nothing. Every time is a different excuse of why they can’t send it. It keeps changing. But it’s never resolved. And when you try to speak to a supervisor or try to get an address to file a complaint in writing with a higher department, all they do is add notes to your case and transfer you to the same person who has been giving you excuses. Apparently there is no management team there and nowhere to write. They take advantage that they know insurance companies only use a specific pharmacy for this type of medication, so we can just change to a different one. I have NEVER, in my 15 years of needing this medication, had to be without it because of the pharmacy’s flat out negligence!!! Of course, it’s also the first time I’ve ever had to deal with the incompetence of this one. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!

Once again meds supposed to be delivered today...even called to confirm yesterday. The representative who was hard to understand promised they would ship for delivery today. Now I see an update showing no delivery until TUESDAY! Unacceptable! I run out of meds Monday. Guess Ill be suing CVS!!!

Horrible! Cant get a delivery right or on time then on hold for an hour to refill medical then just left in a hold loop after they closed. My fiance has MS and this is very difficult for him. We want Acro pharmacy back!

Do not go here. They do not care about customers, I have had to call them every month for the last year because they did not get the delivery done right, the prescription was not right, always something. This last time I received a medication that was suppose to be refrigerated come with a warm ice pack, and I called and they did not care, they were not going to offer to replace the medication until I blew a stink about safety.

Very competent and friendly staff. When the lines started to build up; immediately, other team members jumped in to help out! Cannot beat that type of customer services when you are on lunch break.

I have been using this pharmacy for several years. They have been excellent. One my fitst visit my pharmacist sat with me on the floor in a casual relaxed state of being and took his time to explain every medication and the side effects I should look out for. Also they are always looking for discounts for me so that my co pay is less. They have even called repeatly to ensure that I follow through with my discount program. I would not change this pharmacy for the world. They make me feel well taken care of beyond expectations.

The Specialty Pharmacy is great but CVS itself their Pharmacy has gone downhill Ive waited on line on the phone for over 45 minutes to an hour at a time theyre short-staffed takes a long time to get your scripts filled
