Dr. Gujrathi is the doctor I was hoping for.I have been sent around to multiple offices and felt like none of the staff and doctors addressed my concerns. Despite a long wait, I am very happy with my experience here. Dr. Gujrathi sat down with me and reviewed images. He explained things to me where I could understand. He addressed all of my concerns, and I felt heard and cared for. Thank you!

I had an appointment with Dr. Chapel on February 16, 2021. After performing an examination and conducting a hearing test, I was told that that I would receive a phone call to schedule an MRI to determine if I have an acoustic neuroma causing my symptoms. Its nearly 4 months later and Im still waiting for this phone call. Uh, I think its kind of important to know whether or not I have a tumor on my auditory nerve. My condition has deteriorated since then and Im in no better position than when I saw him in February. Take my advice and dont waste your time on these clowns.

The previous location was great. It was on the 2nd floor of a medical building. The location in the building there was down a long hallway and was easy to find. The new location is on shea blvd. The building is a single story medical building. The location in the building is almost identical to the spot they were at on highland. The team that located the new spot should be given recognition for hte location. It is Awesome. The medical team at AOC is terrific. The Doctors and the assistants were informative and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend AOC

They are always behind! Always. At least an hour wait over the appointment time... every single visit. Then when you talk to the office they say oh it’s only 30 minutes why are you upset? How about my time matters too. Skip this place I won’t be back.

Dr Santorelli and every lovely person at St Joseph’s Out Patient surgery center give such exceptional care. My fiancé had to stay overnight and the staff caring for him during this entire process have been overwhelmingly kind to him. We appreciate the hospitality immensely!

I was diagnosed with a very rare sinus cancer. I was shocked by the diagnosis and terrified about the cure. Over the last three months I have come to realize that although curing the cancer has a very high priority to Dr. Santarelli, the top priority is the patient. I have been seeing him for the last three months and can say that Dr. Santarelli has met or exceeded all of our expectations. He is very professional, very caring and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Santarelli was the BEST! Got an appointment with him quickly and septoplasty surgery went great. The staff here is very responsive and I got in exactly at my scheduled appointment time. Seems like other people maybe had a bad experience with a specific doctor, or just like to complain, but I will definitely be back.

*** Do NOT WASTE time or energy with AOC ***I have had nothing but BAD experiences with AOC at 2222 E Highland Ave, Phx office. Since the day one, their office gave us run around to make appointment for over two months. Its a nightmare to get a SIMPLE information about medication, a referral or have their notes send to Primary Care Doctor. Office manager Sandy and front office ladies (general stuffs on the phone) have SO MUCH attitudes, act like they are Superior or something. They are full of DISCONNECT with the information that I get from AOC Doctor, AOC office stuffs, information AOC sends to Primary Care office. Also, EVERY single time i have been to the office, NONE of the office stuff NEVER smiled and talked to us. If they HATE their job that much, maybe they should find something else to do, besides being upset and try to talk down with their PAYING CUSTOMERS.

I’ve waited over a month for an appointment that was very needed and took time off work and got to my appointment that I was reminded of via text three days ago only to have the secretary rudely tell me FHE doctor I was there to see had a surgery and I should’ve gotten a phone call to reschedule my appointment. I went through all my calls and did not receive any call, so the earliest they could get me back in was 2 weeks from now. That’s 6 weeks of waiting. I would highly recommend you find a different ENT to go to.

Ive seen other ENTs and otolaryngologists before... None have been caring enough to listen to my problems and get me the help I need. Dr.Santarelli was very kind, makes good eye contact and has great office manners. Other doctors have not been that way. All of the PAs, office ladies and staff have been very helpful and responsive.

I am extremely disappointed in the office efficiency of AOC Physicians. We had surgery and other services performed in January of 2017 and did not receive a bill until over one year and three months later. When asked why it took so long to receive the bill they told me that they legally have 3 years to send bills to customers and that I should have been expecting it. I am so sad that they would take so long to bill my family. I will do everything I can to never use their services again.

I used to go to AOC years ago & was treated wonderfully. I recently went to this location & have had the worst experience possible. The doctor, his medical assistant & the staff will not return my calls & have overall treated me with total disregard. I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy!

Made an appt at this office to tinnitus/pain/pressure/sinus problems. Apparently that didnt warrant the time of an actual doctor, I was given a physician assistant. All they wanted to do was give me a hearing test. I explained I did NOT need a hearing test since I had one done 2yrs ago (for the same problems). They insisted anyway and just told me I had some wax build up in my ears. Three months later still have the same problems. Obviously a hearing test did nothing to help me - waste of time and $$.

I had an appointment for my ear pain. By the appointment day I suffered for mor then 2 months.I came in 12 minutes late due to morning traffic delay, signed in, they charged me a copayment, and then 20 min later told me that the doctor don’t want to see me due to me being late for 12 min. Sorry, not even the doctor but one of the nurses practitioners.Funniest part - it took them lots of “efforts” to return the money they charged me with such a fake smile.I will report this case to the Arizona department of Health services. Outrageous situation. These people consider it is “ok” to wait 30 min in the lobby to be seen by the doctor, but they are so “above it” to see the patient who is 12 min late.

In December 2018 I learned of an approximately 3cm acoustic neuroma growing on the vestibular nerve running from my inner ear to my brain. What a shock it was, to me, someone that was otherwise healthy and active and a mother to 2 young daughters. Having never even heard of an acoustic neuroma before, I quickly jumped online and did as much research as possible. I scheduled appointments with a handful of different surgeries and ultimately opted to have surgery in San Diego. I’m happy to say, in March 2019, they removed the whole tumor and I had no issues with facial paralysis, an unfortunate complication that may occur with this type of surgery. Unfortunately, after returning home to Phoenix, my wound began to ooze (I know – gross!). I was able to give my doctors in San Diego a call, but the thing with having surgery out of state is that you can’t just easily travel back for a checkup if complications occur. Thankfully, they were able to connect me with Dr. Shawn Stevens who arranged for me to meet him at his Phoenix office that same day - please also note, he came straight from finishing up a surgery and met with my husband and I after hours on a Friday evening! He stitched up the wound and gave detailed directions on what I needed to do if it got any worse. Ultimately, it did get worse and I ended up in the ER a few days later. There, Dr. Stevens, met with me again and within no time I was back in the operating room to clean out the infection that was festering. Here I was, already having been away from my family for two weeks in San Diego and now back in the hospital about to have my head cut open from someone I had only just met. Mentally I was bummed to say the least. What really got me through was Dr. Steven’s constant check in’s and reassurances that they were going to be play it cautious and provide me with the most thorough treatment. Upon leaving the hospital, Dr. Stevens even provided me with his personal cell phone number if anything further transpired or I had any questions. Questions did come up and he was so quick and gracious in responding. Since surgery, I’ve had a few follow up appointments and during each he is both professional and personable. I haven’t once felt rushed or like my questions weren’t important. Dr. Stevens really went above and beyond for someone that wasn’t even originally his patient!

I have never written a negative review but feel this one is necessary. This offices doctor and office manager exhibited the most rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional behavior I have experienced in a medical practice. I had a 3:00 appointment scheduled, had received confirmation by phone for my appointment, and drove 1 hour each way for the appointment. I usually arrive early but due to a small traffic congestion arrived at the office desk at 3:04. The receptionist said the doctor already left for surgery. I pointed out that it was 3:04 and that I had a 3:00 appointment and showed her the appointment card. She said Dr. Weisskopf had to leave by 3pm that day. I asked why they didnt call my cell, reschedule the appointment, etc. She didnt even pretend that there was a mistake and he didnt know full well I would be arriving. I then asked to speak to the office manager and was told she went to the same meeting (not surgery now). So both Dr. and manager left knowing a patient was arriving without even a phone call. I asked her to call the manager as they must have only left a few minutes earlier and I drove an hour for the appointment but she refused. I pointed out that in coming to the office over 2 years, I have never no showed for an appointment, never been late for an appointment, and never waited less than 45 minutes from arrival to actually see the doctor. I asked when I would be contacted by the office manager to which she said she didnt know and didnt expect her back that day. One week later I have yet to be contacted by the office.

Worst experience ever. Doctor barely cared, met with me for all of 5 mins, just to misdiagnose me on my hearing loss. She seemed totally uneducated. I had a follow up appointment with another doctor in a different field and he informed me to find someone else due to the lack of explanation and total mishandling of my case. This ENT doctor told me I would be deaf for the rest of my life then 2 weeks later my hearing came back. Total stressful nightmare. WOULD NOT recommend.
