Great experience ! Rebecca was so helpful and kind. She was busy with phone calls and virtual appointments but she managed to fit me in for an appointment. She helped myself and another older couple. She went above and beyond with help ! I am so happy I decided to drive down to cave creek ! Worth every minute. We have a virtual appointment at the office with the doctor who was also kind ans knowledgeable.

Dr Burns and staff made the whole process really simple. Very good communication, I always knew what my next step was, and approval was quick. Would 10/10 recommend!

The whole process was extremely easy.With Covid-19 the doctor interview and appointmentwas done online. Using this online method was far easier and efficient than previous in person appointments.

These guys are super friendly, and make the renewal process ridiculously easy! I had my renewal remotely (yay for COVID) and the doctor was thorough and more than willing to answer any questions I had. They also have the best price for renewals that I saw.What really stood out though was there was trouble with submitting the paperwork to the state, and it could only be done by the patient. No big deal, got my renewal documents right away. Later that day though, I had several seizures and ended up in the ICU for nearly a week. Southwest Medical was able to get it submitted after all, so the day I got home, I had my PDF in my email. I nearly cried, thinking I was going to have to wait another week to get some edibles and help with pain.Thank you to Southwest Medical Physicians Group, and Ill see you in 2 years!

This experience was professional and quick. I made the appointment and two days later was in the office. They were on time, I filled out a quick sheet and was taken back. The Dr. was intelligent and answered my questions and their customer service is also quick and always helpful. I will be back for my next renewal!

Dr Burns has been wonderful. She has been helping me with M.S. symptoms and insomnia. If it wasnt for her I would still be getting only a couple hours sleep a night and fighting intense foot and leg spasms.I highly recommend!

I visited this clinic recently and was really blown away by how friendly the staff was, and how well I was treated. Dr. Burns was great. Very patience and very knowledgeable. 5 stars for sure.

This was the first place I went through to get my medical card and received good customer service the first time and only the first after that I renewed twice at the same location and experienced very poor customer service and I am proud to say it is only the reception staff and I will not be returning

I tried diligently to get an appointment with these people. They contacted me after I left a message and set up the initial appointment and told me they would email me the needed paperwork. That never happened. I called and left messages about the issue four times and never received a response from them. I waited 5 - 6 weeks to get the appointment for nothing. They seem to have a track record of this kind of behavior according to other reviews. Don’t waste your time with these people because that is all they do for their “patients” is waste their time. Call anywhere else, they will have much better customer care.

This is my third visit to SMMEC. I return because they are very professional and process everything quickly. They answer all questions you may have and make you feel comfortable. As a retired health professional I am pretty picky about who I give my business to and I highly recommend SMMEC.

Bad experience here. Filled out online forms in advance to have medical records released, for some reason they hadn’t processed them and waited until the time of my appointment to contact my provider. Also, the front desk rep was not well trained and gave incorrect information several times. I’m not even sure if I’m going to be getting my card or not, even after seeing the physician on site and having previous medical records. I also brought copies of my records and they didn’t want to accept them for some reason, stating they would just wait for my doctor to fax them over. Ok? It’s now been a week and they still have not received anything back from my doctor so now I’m on a paper trail when they could have just looked at the documents during my visit. They also charged me a doctor’s fee of $127, and said they would wait to get records to charge for the state fee. So they will basically take half of the money, not actually process the card to the state, and make you do all the communication with your doctor. I’m literally going to have to wait a month to get my card, my last cert was so much easier and well organized, I will never be back to this office. Feel bad for the doctor too because she was attentive and actually cared. I’m honestly shocked at how difficult this place has been to work with. Come on people, I need my medicine and your process needs serious improvement.

Great, the doctor was awesome when I went to get my card renewed, while on Medical Marijuana I havent needed to go to a regular doctor and hardly use any medications so I didnt have any medical records. The doctor was fast, and knowledgeable.My card is expires next week and Im planning on coming in this week to see him again!

I submitted a application to Southwest marijuana Center a week before March 25th and when I came in for a office visit the guy at the front counter never said anything to me about my online application having errors in it. Nor did he ask to see my supposed EBT card. So here I am waiting for my medical marijuana card and it never come so I contact them and they have supposedly emailed me in my Southwest Medical Marijuana email that I never even knew existed till I contact them then they act like all this is my fault. When I did get a email from them it went straight to my trash box on gmail account. Then when I asked to see my original online application and the original application in office cant provide me with the originals. A girl named Melissa did send me a copy of a application they had copied from my original with wrong birth date wrong address and here it is a month later and still havent received my medical marijuana card everyday I live in agony from head to my toes and these guys are supposedly professional people after Ive paid them $120 and state fee $150. I will be going to the medical board.

The person performing the role of Patient Service Representative was the worst I have ever worked with. I currently work in a medical practice and I had questions and concerns about the process and that I had called and scheduled a 12:30pm appt prior toy arrival. She replied, he has nothing to Do with what really goes on in the offices hes at a desk taking calls, your appointment is 1:30. She was very uncomfortable to speak to as her attitude was terrible and she lacked the customer service I Paid for in order to become a Patient. I have never felt more uncomfortable in a professional setting. Nate the MA was very Knowledgeable and courteous. The Provider Dr.Fitzgerald was prompt and attentive. She was very professional, I loved her bedside manner. She has a true passion for medicine even though she was restricted from giving me more educational information due to a pricing difference. I will probably not be returning due to being charged for a service and being treated like I was.Ps over the phone I was informed my card would probably arrive in 7 to 10 days, when.I informed the PSR she promptly stated no its 10 to 15. Thats wrong.Only reason I did not turn around and leave was due to the fact i went through a horrendous time obtaining my medical recordsId strongly recommend Dr. Erin Fitzgerald but, my dissatisfaction began at the front desk, and ended at the front desk. It was definitely a difficult process to be seen and to deal with poor customer service is a shame.Thank You Dr. E.F.

Horrendous customer service and negligence for patients. They could not provide clear answers to my questions, and it seemed like the receptionist didnt bother to learn how to master his job sober before coming heavily medicated. Fix your website before getting short with patients for not knowing all the information we cant access ourselves.
