Dr.Carey is by far the best doctor/surgeon I have ever worked with. Last week he performed an arthroscopic labral repair on my shoulder, and I couldn’t have asked for a better job. He was spot on with his prognosis, and really helped me mentally prepare for my recovery set ahead. So far my recovery is going fantastic thanks to him, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr Carey also takes my wrestling career into great consideration, and he did a fantastic job helping me make decisions that will allow me compete on the mat as long as possible. He is a 10/10 doctor/surgeon, and I would highly recommend him for anyone having shoulder issues.

Dr Carey was compassionate , Caring !! He was reassuring and got me out of pain with a so called miracle drug called cortisone!! He is the true definition of what a good doctor is. Not only educated but treats you like a human. I trust him with all my current and future orthopedic care. since his expertise is in cartilage.

My friend had a shoulder surgery performed by Carey and it was a horrible experience for him. After the surgery, my friend experienced pain and discomfort that lasted for almost a year. He received 4 other opinions from different surgeons and they all recommended another surgery. Carey told my friend that another surgery would never fix his problem and wouldn’t operate on him to fix his initial mistake. I would highly recommend you not go to Carey because he has a strong ego and he tends to place that before the well-being of his patients. My friend is doing great after his second surgery and it just goes to show that you should never just take the opinion of one doctor who thinks he’s God.

Amazing doctor with educated caring staff. Dr Carey and Sabrina answered every hard question across multiple visits until I was ready to endure a very detailed knee reconstruction. We met with multiple other well known orthopedic surgeons who were not personable, caring or committed to helping me choose the best options for me. They didnt offer ACI as an option. The care and commitment I received was like no place we have ever been. Dr Careys approach is first and foremost educated and honest. No smoke and mirrors. More than that they walked through every post op question I had, they didnt disappear after surgery and provided ongoing access to them when ever needed. I never felt like a number. They earned my trust and our family would not go anywhere else. Most of all my knee is better than its been in a decade and has given me many aspects of my life back. I couldnt imagine going to anyone else in the future.

I had a knee injury, went to him for a diagnosis, told me I was fine and to give it time. I walked around in extreme discomfort for about a year, I finally decided to get a second opinion from another doctor, it was discovered that I had torn my meniscus severely. I cannot respect any doctor who turns away a patient in pain, without ordering any tests, maybe it was because I was young, or a women, who knows.

Dr Carey performed shoulder surgery on me (I was 46) on 12/30/15. He has a great personality and is a skilled surgeon. The best part was that my calls or emails were always returned promptly and once even on a Sunday night after my surgery I (in a moment of extraordinary pain I emailed him and he got right back to me)( I regret doing that. Sorry doc. ) He managed my expectations well and I always felt well cared for. I have made an excellent recovery and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I tore my rotator cuff pretty badly playing volleyball. My boss had a surgery to repair a similar injury in the past and his shoulder still hurts so he recommended against me getting the procedure which made me pretty hesitant. Dr. Carey was VERY confident he could fix my shoulder and it would be back to full strength within a year... and he was right. Its literally stronger than the other shoulder now. I cant recommend him enough. Follow up visits to monitor my progress were great as well.

I called in to schedule an appointment, and omg, the assistant is extremely rude, clearly that type of people who do not enjoy their work. Also, when you try to schedule an appointment be carful of their rules you can only be seen for one single body part and thats it. If your knees hurt, he can only check either left or right and not both. I don’t know if I have ever heard this before. in other words, if you have finger Arthritis only one finger can be checked. Ridiculous.
