Dr. Kutikov is incredible! Not only is he a wonderful surgeon, but he is also very helpful and kind. It is rare to find a doctor that combines such personal care for a patient as a person with such outstanding medical care. I cannot be thankful enough. I had a cancerous mass removed from my kidney in August of 2018. It was a very difficult procedure because the mass was in the center of the kidney and surrounded by arteries and ureter. I also have a history of blood clots and was on blood thinners. This is my only kidney. The other one had been removed 8 years ago. During the first 48 hours after my surgery, I had reservations about my decision, but I bounced back quickly after that, under their care. Within 2 weeks, I was back to cutting the grass and other light chores around the house. Dr. Kutikov, his staff and associates, and the Fox Chase hospital staff are the most competent and caring professional staff that I have ever encountered in any walk of life. Dr. Kutikov personally called me in my hospital room on the Labor Day holiday to see how I was doing. I highly recommend his services.

Dr. Kutikov is absolutely amazing!! The office is spotless and his staff is the most professional, compassionate medical team I have ever encountered. My Husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer 4 yrs ago this month by his urologist who didn’t even look up from her computer when she gave him the diagnosis. She then handed him a booklet and told him all the information he needs to know is in it. He was scared and devastated by the news. She recommended a surgeon from Jefferson and I told him, “why are you trusting a Dr’s recommendation that you don’t feel comfortable with?” I then hit the internet and did days of research to try and find him a perfect fit, as we will be putting his life in their hands. After my research was done, I came to him with 3 Surgeons to choose from. Dr. Kutikov was our 1st visit and our last. Upon entering our 1st appointment we were greeted by his friendly, caring and most professional staff. We then were taken to the back and met with his nurse Linda. She entered immediately and went over every detail and concern. Shortly after, Dr. Kutikov entered. My husband is a man’s man and was extremely concerned about sparing his nerve. He was embarrassed about his diagnosis and didn’t want me to write this review due to the stigma that goes along with prostate cancer. Then I explained to him that others’ reviews are the reason we found him, so almost 4 years later he finally agreed. Not being able to be intimate was one of his main concerns, and haunted him as much as the life threatening cancer. Dr Kutikov listened to every concern with patience and compassion. He then assured him that if there is anyway to spare his nerve he was the Dr. to do it! As soon as we left the office we knew he was our choice. There was no need for other opinions. Dr. Kutikov performed his prostatectomy in Sept. 2015 . After the surgery he came to speak to our family in the waiting room to go over every detail of the surgery and spent a good amount of time answering every question and assuring us everything went well. My husband is now cancer free almost 4 years now and we still have a very active sex life. I can’t praise Dr. Kutikov enough!! On 2/5/19 I met with Dr. Kutikov to discuss treatment options for a left renal mass. Dr. Kuticov discussed my options in detail and explained what would happen during each step of the process. Dr. Kutikov performed a partial nephrectomy, laparoscopically and robotically to remove the mass. It was not necessary to remove my kidney. I was up and walking around hours after surgery. I feel great and Im cancer free. Dr. Kutikov is a highly skilled surgeon who cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a skilled, empathetic surgeon.

If you are unfortunate enough, like me, to have clear cell renal cell carcinoma, I hope you find your way to Dr. Kutikov and his team at Fox Chase.My cancer was in a very difficult area of my kidney and Dr. Kutikov was able to save my kidney through robotic surgery, where traditional surgery would have required the removal of my entire kidney.I went in one day for the surgery and left the hospital the next. After surgery, I did not need to take any pain medications which I attribute to Dr. Kutikov and his skill in robotic surgery.From day one on my journey to becoming cancer free, I was treated with kindness and respect by the entire staff at Fox Chase.I have nothing but praise for Dr. Kutikov and everyone at Fox Chase.

I had bladder cancer surgery 5 years ago, cant believe its been that long. It was a tough decision whether to have neobladder surgery, which has a more difficult recovery, or have a bag put on. I could not handle the thought of a urine bag hanging on me the rest of my life so I went with the neobladder. Dr Kutikov built me a new bladder out my intestine. I am so glad I found him and his staff. Lisa kept telling me I can do this even though I wasnt sure about it. Thank you Lisa for helping me through it. I made this decision not only due to Dr. Kutikov’s renowned reputation as a great surgeon but I received a recommendation from a former patient of his.I am more than pleased I selected Dr. Kutikov because 11 months post-op, I am now cancer free with no issues at all.I would recommend that you highly considered Dr. Kutikov if your method of PC treatment is a prostatectomy. From the very first moment my husband and I met Dr. Kutikov we felt comfortable and positive about my husbands diagnosis of prostate cancer. It started with a simple handshake. Dr. Kutikov explained every option and gave us his opinion and we felt comfortable with them. His surgery went exactly as it should have. I was impressed when I received a call from the operating room not long after surgery began just to assure me that things were going according to plan. When Dr. Kutikov came to see me in the waiting room following the surgery I sensed that he was extremely confident that he got rid of all the cancer. I didnt worry about the recovery at all. After the first post operative week when he had to wear a catheter 24/7 we were a bit apprehensive about bladder control but he was able to control his bladder as soon as the catheter was removed and never had to wear a diaper or shield. He called me directly with all the pathology a week after the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Kutikov on his skill and his compassion.

He saved my life! An abnormal mass was detected on one of my kidneys. I went to a highly regarded specialist for their opinion and I was told that it was nothing to be concerned about. I went to Dr. Kutikov for a second opinion and he told me that the chances were low that the mass was an issue but to be 100% certain, he requested that I have a biopsy performed. It turned out the biopsy came back positive. Dr. Kutikov performed a partial nephrectomy at Fox Chase. The operation and recovery went very well. The office and hospital staff were always courteous and professional. Dr. Kutikovs experience and compassion differentiate him from others in his field. If a family member or friend every have a situation like mine, Ill insist they see Dr. Kutikov.

In early 2015, my family doctor discovered a mass next to one of my kidneys. He immediately referred me to a very qualified Urologist who explained what he could see in the radiology and said this type of mass was most likely malignant. The thought that I had cancer was quite disturbing to say the least. The Urologist said he could remove it via a minimally invasive procedure but recommended I use a surgeon who did many of these operations each month and the best one in the region in his opinion was Dr. Kutikov at Fox Chase Cancer Center.I met Dr. Kutikov a few days later and he immediately made me much less apprehensive about the outcome, explaining in detail what I had, what he would do, how he would do it, and the long-term outcome he believed I could expect. We scheduled the surgery but I told him if an opening would come up any sooner, I would strongly consider it. I wanted this thing out of me. A couple weeks later, his nurse called to say an opening had indeed come up two weeks sooner so we immediately rescheduled. I was very grateful that his staff was so accommodating and sensitive to my needs.On the day of surgery, Dr. Kutikov went over all the details with me and my wife, answered all the many questions we came up with and made us feel completely at ease with what was about to happen. I honestly couldn’t have been more relaxed going into that operating room. The operation was a complete success and two days later I was discharged. During my stay there, Dr. Kutikov visited me a few times and although he said the growth had all the appearances of being malignant, I remember him telling me “We got all of it!” which made me very relieved. Pathology later confirmed it was malignant but I found a lot of comfort in repeating the Doc’s words in my mind about getting all of it.Since then I have had a number of regular surveillance appointments with Dr. Kutikov and each time he has given me my complete status in a friendly and professional manner, always telling me I’m as clean as a whistle! That is so good to hear. This is a serious subject but each time he puts me right at ease and makes me smile. I truly enjoy visiting him. He always takes time to answer any and all questions I might have, regardless of how crazy some of them might be. I have great confidence in his abilities and would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation as mine. I will be forever grateful to my Urologist for introducing me to him and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Kutikov for eliminating such a major threat to my life.
