My 101 year old grandmother was admitted on 05-01-2021, She was transferred out on 09-20-2021. During several visits I notice her feet and legs kept swelling, I was told they would address the problem. The next visit her feet were swollen three times the normal size. I could smell her dirty feet through my mask.... I was told the Doctor only visits this facility once a week and her feet sweats causing the odor. My Grandmother cant walk, shes in a WHEELCHAIR!!!! SHE OUTTA THERE!!!!!!

Do not send your loved ones here! I had to get my mom discharged after being there 1 1/2 days out of 2 weeks because she was not given pain medication right after her knee surgery! Unbelievable. Both the hospital and the surgeons office faxed my moms medication schedule over and Ivy Hill claimed they never got it. Only said they got it once my mom was packed up and ready to leave. Shes also diabetic and told everyone there she cannot eat or drink carbs/sugary foods. Every meal was either waffles, pasta, juice & her sugars got up over 400 there because no one cared to listen to her or the dietians suggestions. The stress and worry that my mom and my family had to go through after such a major surgery is not worth it! Please find somewhere else for your loved ones.

I was at this rehab facility back in 2018 twice. The staff treated me very well. Alicia was the best along with others that I met during my stay. I was nice to them, so they were nice to me. I really didnt have a problem with no one. They came when I needed something or when wanted to put something in the fridge. The staff was very attentive. If I ever have to go to a rehab facility, this would be the one. Reading some of the reviews, I dont understand why ppl saying its bad now. I quess changing hands change ppl.

Place is terrible. My mom just starting going here. She told me the place is not clean. They make you schedule appointments to visit that can only be 30 mins. My mom feel while she was there in their “Care” it’s like a prison. IAm moving my mom from this place ASAP! They also make her wait for her pain medication. My mom is a recent amputate they don’t make it easy for patients. Please do not send your loved ones here! It’s awful ! They should be shut down! lol

My mother was sent to Ivy Hill in stable condition after suffering from cv-19. I did not make this decision unfortunately other family members did...She severely got worse with a bacterial infection in the lungs according to the hospital doctor when we pulled her out after just 7 days and sent her back to the hospital. She died four days later. They wont give you an initial plan of care, dont ever follow up on messages, cant reach your loved one sometimes and the night staff barely speaks english. They deserve O stars but its not an option. Dont send your loved ones its a terrible place all around.

My parents were at Ivy Hill and they were treated very well. I was please with the care provided. The Staff from Admissions to patient care givers were Kind & professional. They were personable knowing most patients by name. I recently moved them in order for them to room together. HOWEVER, should it become necessary that must reside in separate rooms - IVY HILL REHAB & NURSING will be the choice.! ! !

Well weve been at this place for many years in the beginning the care was awesome! But since they changed hands with all these different people the care has gone way down hill this past year has been the worst! People Please if you have a loved one at this place Please stay on top of things ! This new staff and administration just make excuses and put the blame for poor and slack care on your love one its very sad but they need to keep in mind one Day they may need care and how would they want to be treated ,remember what goes around comes around be very mindful of how you treat others. SMH!

I am so impressed the environment and staff in Ivy Hill Rehab & Nursing center after my father moved there. The staffs are very nice and know what my fathers needs. They keep the relatives informed in time manner and make sure my father feel comfortable. Strong recommend this place.

I was relative of an inpatient at Ivy Hill. Although, there are some wonderful caring nurses and aides, the supervision of staff needs to be greatly improved in the area of accountability. The Administrator seems to be a caring person, however he cannot oversee and administrate at the same time. While there are some good points, the overall rating would be to recommend this faciltiy if you are a family member who visits your relative everyday and makes sure the staff is doing their job.

Great experience, my father was in short term rehab for about two weeks. Staffs are very helpful and nice, especially who called Aliyssa assistance giving her big credit. Admission+social worker were helpful for paper work etc. Recommend this place.

My mother is an inpatient at Ivy Hill. Several concerns and questions I’ve asked during her stay and/or release date. Specificity I have spoken the first floor nurses station and the Social Worker, neither of which gave satisfactory answers to my inquiries. My mother is completely coherent and if asked would completely agree to her son being given information concerning her health and well being. The staff should be retrained in proper protocol and HIPPA laws when dealing with immediate family members.

I dont know how this establishment continues to get rave reviews! They allowed my mom to develop a decubitus ulcer by leaving her for days in the same position then called in a subcontracted agency ( Wound Care solutions) to care for it ,one day a week - then after it progressed to a stage 3 and we mentioned the word neglect they said that they were discharging her because she didnt show progress. Did I mention the fact that she was never seen by a medical doctor in the course of two weeks and didnt even have a bruise on her body when she first got there ,she was just there for rehab from a fall.

This is a terrible place. They would not let my friend leave when she was able. They have drained her bank account. They are trying to keep her drugged. She complains and cries to me when ever she is able to call. Lately she has not been able to. I kept calling and they would not let me talk to her. They say she is sleeping. When I called at 8PM last night. She said that they are lying. She does not go to sleep until much later. She has a house and she wants to go home. She has a good pension and can afford to have someone come and her son who lives there take care of her. Can someone tell me what I can do to help her. She has been there almost two years.

My father was a residence of Ivy Hill(9 yrs)until his death last March 30th.During his stay we got to get to know the staff and the administrator. We watch as they remodeled and the change of administrators as well as staff. While I could go on it is my dad who gave Ivy Hill its four stars. He made friends with both staff and residents. What I will say is that you cant place your love one and than forget about them they look forward to your visit. You need to be part of what is going on with them and not just at care plan meeting.

First off, this is my first time having to visit anyone at a rehab/nursing home. My grandma had a stroke a few months ago and nearly died because of medical malpractice at another nursing home. The staff along with doctors at Ivyhill have been extremely helpful in helping my grandma get back on her feet.Notably, I must make mention of Trefinia. She is always warm and welcoming, she would do great as the face of the company. Very pleasant and good with her residents. Shemika, she is a doll. She works well with her residents and not just attends to them but seeks to understand their individual needs. She is one of a kind. Elaine (she goes above and beyond) Margalita (very helpful and kind), Wallie ( he is one of the best they have there. A very hard worker and is understanding and accommodating). There are others but these are the ones that really stand out and have been of tremendous help and support to me and my family. No institution is perfect but I took this time to share that this institution with all its challenges has some very great employees that deserved me coming on here to drop a commendation. I would not have written a review otherwise but they deserve it.
