After 20 years of bouncing in and out I finally was able to sit still and do something just a little bit different... First stop recovery has played a huge part in my journey and Im forever grateful for what they have done for me... God willing in January I will celebrating 2 years sober....

I visited First Stop Recovery to research a paper I am writing for my bachelors in nursing program on substance abuse. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They made me feel so welcome and answered all of my questions. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the statistical significance of the work they are doing to rehabilitate those in the community who are suffering from this horrible disease of addiction. They are all amazing people. Thank you for everything you do for our community!! ❤️

This place is great for our community. They help homeless, alcoholic, drug addicted people get a second chance in life. They have a training program that helps people learn how to make pizza and gain jobs. Turn helpless and homeless into productive members of society. Thank you First Stop for your contribution to our community!

First Stop is more than recovery... Its a home and a family for the broken and hopeless. There is something about living in the middle of a war zone and getting sober. You want soft and kushy, buy a pillow. If you want recovery and a new way of life, come to The Stop, it might save your life.

FSR is a big family brings people in recovery together. It has started 2016 after property sold by the last stop owner Eddie Z who told he is moving to Camden. The place has been serving to people in sobriety close to two decades. I came to picture with promise if we can make it better.FSR became a nonprofit entity changing name to FSR achieving a bronze status in guidestar. Recently, we have been attracting people with various backgrounds who are willing to help. I m proud to be part of the solution.
