Dr. Alkasem and her staff are amazing. I struggles receiving a proper diagnosis . With many visits in and out of neuro visits and some hospital admits withput my coherent knowledge . I had become frightened and hopeless . with realistic expectations i gave this practice a chance and a glowing review because theyre authentic and caring people.

Dr. Alkasem is wonderful, very professional and she has wonderful work ethics. She referred me to a top notch neurosurgeon and made my experience easy and manageable.

Dr Alkasem was wonderful and attentive. She listened with great care to all of my issues and concerns and made excellent suggestions for dealing with my migraines.

My wife went to Dr. Alkasem 3 months ago complaining of headaches. My wife also has a history of very low base-line blood pressure. Dr.Alkasem prescribed Inderal, which although has a secondary benefit to help with headaches, is first and foremost a beta blocker used to treat high blood pressure.It wasnt long before my wife started to have episodes where she suddenly passed out and fell to the floor. For 10 minutes or so, she couldnt get up then it was like it never happened. These episodes started happening several times a week. Needless to say, we were both concerned and frightened.I looked through her medications and the only recent new script was for this Inderal.When I found out it was primarily used to lower blood pressure, I could not believe that a specialist like Dr. Alkasem could be so negligent in prescribing this medication without taking into consideration my wifes naturally low BP. I would never recommend this woman to anyone..
