Dr. Michael Sperling is a Great Doctor!I have been seeing him for years.And he is there when you need him..He listen,talks to me takes his time, explain it.... The Best Epilepsy Doctor!!!!

I have been taking my son to see Dr Sperling for about a year and have had nothing but positive experiences. I feel Dr Sperling is more than knowledgeable and doesnt speak down to us or at a level I can not understand. He always answers all of our questions and takes his time in the appointments. I dont feel rushed and I feel that he truly cares about his patients.

I’ve been under Dr Sperling’s care for 5 years, and I just started to wonder why I have continued for so long to waste my time with long waits, rushed visits and lack of professionalism.At my last and final visit, I waited the normal 2 hours for an annual visit, and then was asked the same questions by a triage nurse then nurse practitioner. The NP, Kelly, did not seem to absorb anything I was saying , but really got fixated on discussing my reproductive health. This was so important to her, that once Dr Sperling finally came in, this is all they seemed to want to lecture me on.I’m used to Dr Sperling making off-color, elitist remarks; however, at this visit, he made an incredibly inappropriate “joke” that finally made me realize that I don’t need to pay to sit for hours to have a guy come in and talk about things that aren’t his speciality.And after all that time, he never even performed an exam and let me know he’d see me in a year. He won’t.I understand he is a neurologist (and a knowledgeable one - so one star for that); however, it never seems like my visits are based on neurology or even me. I hear a lot about him, his family, accomplishments and opinions. So in this big city of medical professionals, I feel like I can probably find someone a little more concerned about my health, and hopefully anyone considering seeing him willtoo.

Dear future patients,I cannot even give a single star to that Star Doctor, but the website forces me to give one star. We came to him as second opinion doctor. He prescribed anti-epileptic drug to my daughter, NEVER talked about any side effects. She ended up in the psych ward, because the medication has psychotic side effects. And the saddest part.....it did not help her seizures. No one from the office of Dr. Sperling ever called to monitor my daughter on new drug. Sad. I wish I can report this somewhere else....
