I cannot find the right words to describe how grateful we are to Asasiyah and Titilola. From the very first contact with Asasiyah we knew that she was going to be our angel :) I changed my birth plan very late in my pregnancy because I was unhappy with my prenatal care provider and was getting more and more anxious to give birth at the hospital. It was a blessing to find Asasiyah. She and Titi were both so calm during labor that I felt absolutely secure and confident. This was my third baby and I only wish I could have met Asasiyah earlier !! We will be forever thankful for our sons beautiful natural birth.Florence & Theo

Asasiyah was our midwife. She always provided great recommendations throughout our birthing journey, and kept me feeling empowered ,even when I was tired. She was very resourceful and supportive. Her calming nature throughout my labor reassured me that I could deliver naturally. She made my natural birth feel natural and thats the feel I was going for.

Words cant even express how grateful I am to Asasiya and my entire birth team. I heard about Asasiya and Inner Circle Midwifery a little over 3 years ago when I read an article about her in The Philadelphia Inquirer. I knew that if I ever decided to have another baby I would want a home birth and for her to be my midwife, and I am so happy I got that chance. Our experience with Asasiya was amazing from start to finish! I felt comfortable and most importantly, respected at all times. She never touched my belly without asking first which is a big deal considering that not even my doctors ask before touching my body. She always answered all of my questions and asked if she had answered in a way that I understood. Having that type of treatment/care was invaluable. I felt informed and safe in her care. The day of the birth, Asasiya was always calm. She respected my birth plan and that made me feel like I was in control of my labor and my body. She would ask me if she could do a cervical check and if I said not at the moment or after the next contraction, she respected that and never once made me feel bad about it. I wanted to have a water birth and although I did labor a bit in the tub, Asasiya knew when I had to get out and switch positions to get the baby down. It always amazed me that she knew what had to happen and when by listening to the heartbeat with her doppler and when the heartbeat was decelerating she knew the baby had to come out quickly but she never panicked, always remained calm and that kept me calm. Even after delivering the baby, when it was taking close to an hour for the placenta to come out, she still remained calm, which for a hypochondriac like me was what I needed to not freak out. She really made my experience....amazing.Asasiya gave me the home birth I wanted, the home birth I dreamed of having. I am forever grateful to her, the second midwife Titi and my doula Paloma. They were my team and they had my back. I am honored Asasiya took me on as a client and these words dont even do her justice. Thank you Inner Circle Midwifery! Thank you Asasiya!

Exactly 1 month ago I welcomed my baby girl earth-side in the comfort of my home with the assistance of Asasiya, TiTi (second midwife), and Paloma (doula). My husband and I decided to transition care to Asasiya as a result of the quality of care due to COVID-19. Asasiya made our transition extremely easy and I immediately noticed the difference in my care. She not only focused on how I was doing physically but also how I was doing mentally and emotionally. She also asked my husband how he was and how our family was adjusting. Her approach to care is unmatched! As a black woman, I wanted to ensure I received quality care from an experienced midwife that looked like me. The black mother and infant mortality rates are extremely high. I developed anemia during my third trimester and actually began to hemorrhage right after delivering my daughter. Asasiya never panicked, stopped the hemorrhaging, and ensured baby and I were ok. As a CPM, her training and experience allowed her to handle the emergency without the need for me to transferred to the hospital. I am grateful I was in her care.

Asasiya provided well rounded care that was thoughtful, empowering and informative. She encouraged my agency in all decisions related to my pregnancy and the birthing process, and she took the time to get to know me and learn my preferences and experiences with this pregnancy. During any moment of decision-making, Asasiya made sure I was aware of all options, not just her own recommendations or what was typically done. She always took the time to educate as needed and make me feel like I could make well-informed decisions. As her client, I felt like Asasiya was genuinely prioritizing my well-being. She was engaged and present during all of our visits and interactions. I was always met with thoughtful care during routine visits leading up to labor as well as postpartum visits, and I never felt rushed in or out of an appointment/visit.During labor, Asasiya added a calm and trusting patience to the room along with the rest of my amazing birth team who altogether offered affirming physical and emotional support, giving me the confidence and certainty to move through labor pains and to eventually meet my wonderful baby girl. Im grateful to have welcomed my child into such an uplifting atmosphere, cultivated by my birth team. When my child needed to be taken to the emergency room a day after birth, Asasiya supported me every step of the way to ensure the health of my baby and my peace of mind. She went above and beyond to make sure I was getting all of the information and support I needed. Despite the unexpected call, she was invested in all aspects of our safety and care, from making sure I had a way to get to the hospital, to checking in after I was back at home the next day.Asasiya invests whole-heartedly in her clients experience through the transformative journey of child birth. She is a phenomenal person and midwife.

Words can’t express the gratitude felt by myself and my family for what Asasiya has done for our family. We recently welcomed our third daughter and the second of whom was ushered into this world by Asasiya. She’s very intentional and professional. With both births I felt cared for, protected, and most of all safe. I knew from my first experience with her that myself and my baby were in the best hands and and receiving the best care. For women of color in America birth can be a scary thing but with great care from nurturing and committed midwives like Asasiya birth can be whats it’s meant to be a beautiful journey that leaves you feeling liberated, empowered and in control.Asasiya will forever be apart of our family for helping me bring my beautiful babies into this world safely. I recommend all mothers especially mothers and families of color that are expecting to do yourself a favor and truly experience the fullness and greatness of birth by receiving your care from inner circle.

Upon meeting Asasiya, I knew I wanted to be in her care. Her mannerism and professionalism is top tier while at the same time being very down to earth relatable and personable. Having Asasiya in my corner, playing a major role in Zoe’s birth team was truly a blessing. Being diagnosed as a gestational diabetic led to doctors attempting to pressure me into getting induced. They looked at me crazy when I told them I was planning a homebirth. So grateful I had Asasiyas reassuring words and wisdom. She was very encouraging and the book she recommended “calm birth” helped greatly.Under her care, at 41w3d I was able to bring Zoe onto this earth, at home in my bathtub after only about 2 hours of active labor and about 1 and half pushes lol. There weren’t any complications, Zoe being 8 pounds even & I had no tears. This was my first home birth and first time laboring and delivering with no medication. This was the easiest, most peaceful birth of all my kids. With Eric and My mom being there as well supporting me I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Asasiya, Ray and Titi ❤️ SN:She had tickets to see Erykah Badu and was headed out when I called with contractions 2 minutes apart. She missed the concert to deliver Zoe. I am forever grateful

My experience with Inner Circle Midwifery was amazing. Asasiya was great and always made me aware of all of my options giving birth at home. The best part for me was having a low maintenance health care plan during my pregnancy and not being pressured to take any unnecessary medication. Asasiya is naturally empathetic which was the most important attribute for me. I knew from our first email prior to meeting in person that she would be my midwife. Being a healthcare professional myself, I’m fully aware of the lack of empathy that can occur and I am very appreciative that Asasiya always made me feel like she is me and I am her. I genuinely felt that her guidance during my pregnancy and delivery made me feel comfortable and I trusted her professional advice 100%, which in turn gave me the healthiest pregnancy delivery with a safe home birth that I anticipated and always dreamed of. I highly recommend Asasiya and her team for anyone wanting to have a natural birth at home.

Highly recommend! My oldest daughter was born via Cesarean. My middle child was born naturally with an epidural. My youngest? Born at home last month natural with no medication - hands down the easiest overall experience. Asasiya took over my wife’s care about five months into the pregnancy - after COVID turned our hospital system into a limited-access birthing center. I didn’t know if it was a good idea to switch from a trusted hospital to a midwife, but my wife asked me to have an open mind. I was especially concerned because the practice was not in-network with my health insurance (meaning I would have to pay for all of it). After one meeting with Asasiya I was all in and ready to cut the check.-She coached my wife on things like nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise/stretching.-She coached me on how to best support my wife through it all.-Asasiya made this experience feel the way it’s supposed to feel - NORMAL! Hospital births are supposed to be the alternative, today’s culture has forgotten that. I certainly had. With the right support system in place, home births are safe, amazing, comfortable, exciting, and BETTER THAN IN-HOSPITAL births! Best thing, my wife and newborn got to spend that first night here at home, and not in some cold hospital bed.-Inner Circle Midwifery provided that support system for us. They provided that experience.

We met Asasiya in July 2016 and haven’t let go of her since. Once we met her we knew right away that she shared kindred spirits with us and our family. Now fast forward she has caught 4 of our 6 children. We only wished that we had met her sooner so she could have caught all of our children. The first 2 children were birthed naturally in the hospital. Having experienced the hospital with the first 2 children and being told when to push and when not to push by a staff that looked nothing like us we knew we wanted a home birth with the rest of our children. I really can’t speak enough on Asasiya’s skill and spirit. First let me talk about her skill. Asasiya has successfully caught four of our children including a breech birth 😳with no complications and no hospital transfers. With every birth she made sure me and the baby were safe and all the proper measures were taken. Unlike the hospital and many birthing centers she has at least 4 follow up appointments to make sure the father, mother, siblings (of child) and baby are healthy and adjusting well both physically and emotionally. With our most recent birth which was the breech birth we were given only two choices which were a ECV and/or a C-Section none of these were an option for us. After speaking with Asasiya, Titi (as back midwife),and Aba (as backup midwife) we felt confident and safe with having a homebirth. Asasiya and Titi came poised and ready for the expected and unexpected the day I went into labor. We were told that the baby was butt down which would have been a frank breech birth however the baby came out knee first. Once Asasiya realized the baby was coming out knee first Asasiya remained calm, poised and quick to make any necessary adjustments to assure the baby’s safety. Asasiya and Titi made me feel confident through the entire process and constantly reassured me that the baby was safe, that I was safe and that my body was doing exactly what it was suppose to do. Breech births are not recommended to have even in hospitals let alone at home however we were determined to have a homebirth especially because we trusted God, we trusted our baby, we trusted my body and WE TRUSTED ASASIYA . Without our trust in Asasiya we could not have done a breech homebirth. Asasiya’s spirit is always calm and confident there is no situation concerning home births that I feel she’s not well equipped to respond to and handle in a appropriate and safe manor. She always makes sure that her clients and the baby safety is her number one priority. The level of character and integrity that she holds herself to concerning her standard of care is like no other I have ever seen. Asasiya and Titi have truly become our family and I recommend both of them to whoever is considering a homebirth especially our young black women. I’m literally a walking billboard for Asasiya and Titi they’re a blessing to the black community because they not only protect black women through their impeccable work as midwives they protect the entire black family, what they do is truly priceless we can’t pay them enough for what they provide to our community and to this world.🌎

With overwhelming confidence I scream from the highest mountaintop about the exceptional care I received at Inner Circle Midwifery. My first experience with motherhood, a missed miscarriage, altered everything I believed about pregnancy. Completely naive to the process of labor and the mental preparation it required, I experienced immense physical and emotional pain as everything passed. Moving forward without my baby, I knew how I didn’t want to feel during any future pregnancies— but most importantly, I knew how I wanted to feel. Validated, valued, seen, respected, encouraged, empowered.. just a few ways I hoped to feel during my most vulnerable time. Asasiya and her assistant Ebony exceeded every expectation and have imprinted on my heart. Birthing while black during a global pandemic carries its own uncertainties, but with each appointment I was reassured my life and my baby’s life mattered and that we were capable of having our desired birth. Birthing in my home surrounded by my family was as transformative as I imagined it to be! When doctors challenged me and tried to discourage me, Inner Circle was my safe space. Thank you Asasiya for advocating for me! Thank you for allowing me to be myself. Thank you for caring about my mental health and for caring about my family. We are so humbled and so thankful your practice exists. A solid and well earned 10/10!!!!!!

On 9/6/2020 I had the most smooth and peaceful home waterbirth to welcome my healthy baby boy, and I have Asasiya and my birth team to thank. At Inner Circle Midwifery, we received personal, individualized care, where Asasiya showed genuine interest and concern in my overall physical, mental and emotional well-being. Asasiya always kept us well-informed and offered further evidence-based resources when it was time to make any decisions regarding pregnancy, labor and delivery. The information provided never came from a bias standpoint, nor did I ever feel pressured to choose one option over another. I felt empowered knowing I was able to make the best decisions for myself and baby. Asasiya also offered diet recommendations to ensure I was getting the necessary nutrition during each step in my pregnancy. I became iron-deficient anemic towards my third trimester and Asasiya informed us of the necessary precautions we would need to take to ensure a healthy and safe delivery. I also began a recommended iron-rich food and supplement regimen to increase my iron levels, which was successful. Aside from food, she also made it a point to encourage me to be aware of what I was consuming (current events, bad news etc.) that may not have necessarily served me. Keeping this in mind helped me maintain a positive experience during a time when there was a lot of uncertainty going on in the world. It was also comforting being able to have my partner with me every step of the way. Men are sometimes forgotten during this process but Asasiya did a great job with making him feel included and important as well. Leading up to labor and delivery, I felt very prepared and confident that my delivery would go according to plan, as it did. I received dual prenatal care at an OB/Gyn and I couldn’t help but feel the clear difference in care and felt much more comfortable at Inner Circle Midwifery. As a first time mother, I’m very grateful to have had such a positive pregnancy and birth experience. It truly set the tone to the beginning of my journey in motherhood. I would definitely recommend for other first time moms who are looking to have a home birth.

On September 2,2020 I gave birth in a very peaceful atmosphere in the comfort of my own home. My baby was delivered by my midwife Asasiya along with her assisting midwife TiTi, not to forget my amazing support team. This year my son was diagnosed with cancer so my husband, myself and my sons care team decided that home birth during Covid-19 would be the best also most safe option to avoid the risk of possible exposure due to him being immunocompromised from chemotherapy. With constant worry about my sons illness I was concerned with bringing a new baby into the world while carrying so much stress during the course of my pregnancy. With that being said it was extremely important for me to feel spiritually connected to my midwife and build a strong trusting relationship. It was important for me to peacefully labor and to survive delivery! I felt very secure in Asasiya’s care unlike previously when having my other children in a hospital setting. Asasiya was so calm, collected, caring and mainly reassuring from the moment I met her. During my laboring process seeing her walk in released a massive amount  of weight off of my shoulders because I knew I was in great hands! She constantly reiterated the importance of being mentally prepared just as well as physically because this was an imperative factor in having  a healthy baby and successful delivery. It made me comfortable knowing that Asasiya genuinely had my best interest at heart! She’s a natural in her scope of practice, I couldn’t have asked for a better memorable experience then the one I experienced with inner circle midwifery! I’m still in awe of the fact that I birthed a beautiful black baby girl caught in the hands of a black woman!

I was blessed to be chosen as the birth grant recipient for midwifery services from Asasiya and Inner Circle Midwifery. Due to Covid-19 and the policy changes in the hospitals I started the search for a midwife late into my pregnancy. My care with Asasiya did not start until I was 30 weeks pregnant which isn’t ideal for a home-birth but it was not an issue it was as if I started my care with her from the beginning she was warm, welcoming and professional at all times. I knew I made the right decision when I received my grant and she stated she prayed for a safe and peaceful welcoming of my baby girl. I’ve never had a medical provider openly expressing prayer or any form of worship for that matter and that really resonated with me. Although I was a grant recipient I never felt like a charity case at any point, I know that I received the same care that her full priced clients received which speaks volumes to her character and professionalism. During my short 8 weeks in her prenatal care Asasiya suggested I have a more nutritious diet, checked on my mental health, gave recommendations on how to prepare for my home birth and more, always making herself available for any questions (I even called her from my ob/gyn office and she was readily available to answer questions I was unsure of.) During labor/delivery Asasiya had the most peaceful/calm energy which I know helped keep me at ease. There was a point when the baby’s heart rate was decelerating with each contraction but she delivered the news with such calmness that I never felt worried I just prayed and kept laboring beause what else could I do! Asasiya suggested I try different methods to get the heart rate up, she gave me oxygen, we tried different labor positions and she allowed me to trust my body. Shortly after on 06/07/20 my partner and I welcomed our healthy baby girl at home and that’s when the impeccable postpartum care started. I’m currently 4 weeks into my 6 week postpartum care. She checks in, does home visits, answers calls and texts making it comfortable to reach out with any issues or concerns I may have, not only for myself but my baby as well. Answering question ranging from cord-stump care to lactation support and anything everything else in between. I highly recommend Asasiya to anyone considering a home-birth and if I could give more stars I would. Should I decide to have more children I definitely plan to work with Asasiya again she’s a beautiful black woman inside and out and she’s confident in her work and in my opinion most certainly fulfilling her calling!

During our consult Asasiya was so calm and i knew I wanted to be under her care. Beside providing excellent prenatal care she was and is highly concerned with me as a woman as well. I will never forget at one of my appointments she told me she could sense I was checking the boxes in a way. She emphasized that i need to take time to enjoy the experience of pregnancy for myself. I took her advice and I am forever grateful. Additionally when my water broke prematurely she was constantly monitoring myself and my baby the entire time. I was given choices with Asasiya and I really felt supported my entire pregnancy and would highly recommend her services to anyone who is up for the reward of home birth. My partner who was hesitant initially also has no regrets. He felt apart of the process vs in the hospital where men are often times tossed to the side. She is decisive and intuitive about when medical care is appropriate, and she has connections and recommendations to make getting that care easier. When I had some spotting in my second trimester, she recommended we head to the ER to check on baby; she met us there and helped us navigate the hospital protocols. Asasiya also connected me with a doula who was a perfect fit for us.In labor, Asasiya was calm and present and gave space for my preferences. Thank you for bringing our daughter into the world! We had a long labor, but Asasiya was adaptable and available through the process.I interviewed a few midwives, and felt comfortable with her blend of medical knowledge and ability to manage the birth process. I needed to know that someone in the room would be able to say you need to go to the hospital if it was necessary, and she definitely would have. However, we were able to give birth successfully at home, and she made it clear that we were still in the safe zone. She places a high priority on making the birth process work. When I was about to give birth, she taped up smelling salts... I was a little nervous about that. I mentioned that I hope I dont need them, so she joked that they were for my husband. (He didnt end up needing them either.) It felt good to know that keeping me calm was such a priority.Since then, I have talked to many people about giving birth at home. Most who had long labors (like mine) ended up being induced and getting a c-section. One had a $13,000 bill (with insurance!) for a long, vaginal delivery. One was given an antibiotic that she was allergic to. Ive heard very few positive hospital stories.Home birth is wonderful. My husband felt so much more involved, and we both felt so much more capable of handling our new addition. Our daughter has never been to the hospital, and we are so confident that we can find a way to handle problems as they come.Thank you.

Going to Inner Circle Midwifery was the best decision and investment my wife and I could have made. Asasiya Muhammad is one of the most professional individuals I have ever met who is very passionate and serious about her work.Unfortunately, the pain that my wife was feeling required her to be taken to the hospital where she ultimately gave birth at. Asasiya was present every step of the way and was able to help be a liaison between the hospital and my wife and I. Not only was her presence at the hospital re-assuring, Asasiya was also firm in her advocacy for my wife and I in making sure that the hospital respected and honored my wife and i’s wishes with respect to our baby. When it comes to business, some folks are driven by money. Asasiya is an individual who’s business practice is driven by love, compassion, understanding, and courtesy. She went above and beyond the call of duty and if my wife and I plan on having more children Asasiya would be the midwife for the job... on behalf of my wife and I, we highly recommend Asasiya Muhammad for your midwife needs...

To say that I had a great experience would be a understatement. From the moment that I met Asasiya I knew that inner circle midwifery was the place for me so I signed up that very day. From that moment on I have literally enjoyed each and every appointment. From the knowledge that was shared to the support that I received from her, the assistant and my doula i literally felt at peace and ready to bring forth life. Their energy is unmatched! This was my first pregnancy and if I do decide to have more children I will absolutely be doing things the same exact way. The appointments were pesonal and fast. The birth was better than I though it would be, to say that I was at peace would be a understatement. The preparation that took place reminded me that I was made to do this very thing and my baby girl was in my hands in exactly 45 minutes after pushing. Asasiya you are special - made to do this very work and I pray that you will continue to grow, expand, share your knowledge and help more woman to understand/ experience the joy of a home birth! Inner circle midwifery for the WINNNNNNNN! #ShesTheBest #BlackGirlMagic

When we met with Asasiya for our consultation it was clear that, as long as we could, we had to have our first child at home. Asasiya is calm, patient, encouraging, nurturing, informative, all the things that we needed as new parents. We never left an appointment confused and we never felt rushed into a decision. The biggest lesson was that pregnancy and labor are not scary, they are beautiful experiences. After understanding this, I was able to enjoy the connection God blessed me with. We cannot thank her enough for being a presence in our community and helping us bring life into this world.

I had a very pleasant experience with Asasiyah and her team. Asasiyah was always there when I needed her and helped keep me motivated through the process. My labor was long and although everyone was super tired at one point, she stayed positive, professional, alert and patient. She kept us abreast on information, possible outcomes and solutions. Im grateful to say that she helped me safely deliver my baby in spite of minor setbacks that prolonged my labor.

We loved working with Asasiya for my pregnancy and the birth of our baby. She cared for us with great skill, compassion, thoughtfulness and emotional intelligence. I felt consistently amazed at how quickly she responded to any questions or concerns and at her total availability to us at all times. Asasiya is very warm, and holds high standards of professionalism. It was important for me to have a good relationship with an OB backup and Asasiya was collaborative, open-minded and easy going within that model of care, so that I felt that I was totally able to construct and be author of the care I needed and wanted through my pregnancy. Most importantly, I felt that Asasiya truly respected me and my decisions, intuition and desires, and that she really understood the processes of true consent, and the development of trust in our relationship. It had been so important for me to find a midwife whom I felt I would trust and respect fully when in a state of vulnerability. Asasiya was every bit that midwife. We had a very short and intense labor and Asasiya was so calm, so fully present and such an amazing guide to me and my partner, even through the most tense and uncertain moments. We were able to have an even more beautiful and peaceful birth experience than we had hoped for, and that had much to do with Asasiya’s humility, tenderness and skill. We are so grateful. Our son is blessed to have been born into her hands.

Going into the birth of my first child, I thought that arming myself with knowledge (all the books, documentaries and classes I could handle in the 9 months of pregnancy) would be enough to have a positive birth experience. Well, I learned from that birth that knowledge is certainly important, but trusting your care provider is ESSENTIAL. That birth was in a hospital with a team of midwives. I didnt even have enough time with a single one of the midwives before the birth for anything resembling trust to develop and, as a result, had a traumatic experience. Flash forward to my pregnancy and birth working with Asasiya. Prenatal appointments with Asasiya are not simply to check your blood pressure and babys heart rate. These appointments are where Asasiya learns about all the aspects of you that can influence your pregnancy and birth: your medical history, birth history, diet, emotions, aches and pains, physical activity, family situation, desires, fears, etc. She takes the time to get to KNOW you and SEE you, which is the foundation of trust. Because of this I trusted her fully as my midwife. She is highly skilled, experienced and pragmatic; always keeping the health of me and my baby as the priority. She took the time to explain my options and choices along the way (from ultrasounds, blood and glucose tests early on to natural induction methods near the end), acknowledging that these decisions were my own to make. She was extremely responsive to my texts and calls. When labor started, barely a word needed to be exchanged because as soon as I called Asasiya she knew me and my family and my home and showed up immediately, set up her equipment, and ensured that the process flowed safely. My birth wasnt completely straightforward. There were moments where my daughters heart rate dropped and Asasiya calmly yet firmly told me exactly what I needed to do and provided me extra oxygen. After my daughter was born, my husband and I were able to be completely present and focused on her because Asasiya knew and respected all of our wishes. To have this type of support in one of the most vulnerable yet powerful moments of your life is invaluable. I cannot recommend Asasiya and her team (I was fortunate to have her amazing student midwife, Titi, and assisting midwife, Ray, at the birth) enough. I wish that the level of support and respect that Asasiya provided were the norm and not the exception in the world of birth. Thank you, Asasiya, for having such a profound and positive impact on my life.

Asasiya and her team were such a wonderful find. As soon as I walked into Inner Circle Midwifery (after being told by my Brooklyn doctor that “home birth is dangerous, especially at your age), I knew it was the place for me. She believed in me and my innate female power, she REALLY listened to me, she provided me with valuable information and she never laughed at my partner’s dumb jokes haha. I could NOT have done it without these amazing women. I was able to have the birth I wanted, at home with the people I love. Asasiya is knowledgeable, professional and caring...all the qualities you want in a midwife.

I am so happy and 100% satisfied with my experience with Asasiya! We had our bundle of joy Dec 5th 2018 and you couldn’t tell me nothing before I gave birth but you Definitely can’t tell me anything now!I found her through Instagram #phillymidwife@thepeoplesmidwifeAfter having my Son (4yrs) at Jefferson Hospital and hating every bit of my experience I vowed that I would have my next baby at home and my husband supported it.I received all my prenatal care from asasiya she kept me on track with everything. At times I felt as if she was being “hard” on me but I couldn’t be more grateful. No preeclampsia & no Gestational Diabetes !Our birth was amazing. Forget a birth plan I just appreciate all the love and support of my family and birth team! All I could focus on my bringing my angel earth side !Asasiya helped my labor move/progress so well with her techniques. She allowed me to listen to my body. I had complete confidence in her and my team that if something where to necessary go wrong that the proper steps would be taken and way before it was too late.We will definitely be using her for baby #3 ❤️*baby #3 was born January of this year. Winter & champion were born 13 months apart and of course we used Asasiya again!

I met Asasiya while interviewing midwives in the New Jersey/Philadelphia area back in Fall of 2016. Having had met with some midwives prior to meeting Asasiya, I have to say that it was her knowledge, warmth, hospitality, willingness to answer questions, and overall spiritual vibe that drove my husband and I to ultimately choose her as our midwife for our first born child. Throughout the process of meeting for checkups and leading up to when my prince was born, Asasiya was always a text or a phone call away, and always had a way of reassuring my husband and I when we were uncertain. Without a doubt, I will definitely be utilizing Asasiyas services again and will certainly recommend her to anyone who is looking to go the route of having a home birth. I am forever thankful to Asasiya and her team for helping to bring my baby boy into the world in such loving and caring environment.
