DR. NIZEN IS FAR AND AWAY THE BEST DOCTOR IVE HAD.Read this review:I am very picky when it comes to doctors. I have learned in my 40+ years that all doctors are not equal.Ive been with Dr. Nizen for the past 15 years. She is fantastic and I cant believe I found her.First of all -- shes brilliant. She really, really, really knows her practice.She explains everything in grave detail, understanding that Im a person that wants to know how things work and whats happening with my body. I learn so much when Im with her!Secondly, shes cautious and issues just in case tests. I love this! If theres even a remote possibility, she simply tests for it. She knows the doctor community when I need a specialist and candidly tells me who to go see... and why. She also tells me who not to see.With Dr. Nizen, I feel that I have a personal representative watching out for and taking care of my health. She goes way beyond basic doctoring and asks health questions related to my age, remembers the intricacies of my life -- and asks about them as they relate to my health. .I never feel shes rushing me out of the office. She has my best interest in mind at all times.Shes proactive. She reminds me of age-related things I need to do when I dont remember. Also - her approach to medication is the most intelligent Ive ever seen.She utilizes medicine when necessary. But, if it has an addictive quality (like sleeping aid, for example) -- she has her eye on it. Under her care, shes not only making sure you have a solution -- but she wants one that doesnt damage you. The sleeping aid example is a real one.I am not a person that trusts doctors easily. With Dr. Nizen, I am at full ease. I dont feel the need to run home and look things up to make sure I understand.Its pure laziness that no one has reviewed Dr. Nizen here. Its also likely that shes not accepting new clients because shes so, so good.Philadelphia is lucky to have her.
