If I could give this company 0 stars I would. As a former employee I recommend everyone that truly love their family members to look elsewhere. The employees they tend to hire aren’t qualified to take care of patients looking for short-term or long-term care. Staff members are very unprofessional and they DO NOT have your family member’s best interest.

I haven’t worked here myself but it have had a colleague who’s come from this workspace. Overall, I haven’t heard anything good about this company. Checks were deposited late, employees were angry as a result, and they deny most unemployment after termination through offering the same job you were relieved from. Not to mention, at one point my boyfriend was working with bedbugs and even brought some home from one of the locations. Conclusion: They require better management and have a lack of compassion for their workers.

A horrible place to work. I wish 0/5 Was possible. The management is so arrogant and disrespectful. The owners incapable of operating the business. The turnover rate is insane. No one stays long term for a reason. They are concerned about the bottom dollar and not the quality of care. 0 training. Shouldn’t even be allowed to operate if you ask me. Save your time and effort and work/ send your loved ones elsewhere

Despite all of the 1-star ratings that this company is getting from people that cant even spell correctly, I personally think that this is a GREAT company. They care for their residents, and do all that they can for them. Caremore House provides food, clothes, a bed, laughs, and so much more. Ive been around this company for many years now and I know a lot about it. One thing that I am absolutely sure of is that they do not treat anyone unfairly, and that they meet the requests of their residents at all times. Every year the company grows better and better. Highly recommend working and/or residing here.

This is one of the worst home health care agencies in the city of Philadelphia. Every aide sent to my mother looked like a drug addict. The residential homes are bad...very bad. At first glance they look nice enough in the inside, however the staff is horrible. It’s a bunch of young, underskilled people (who you can tell are only concerned with a paycheck) charged to care for your loved one. There has been mention of bedbugs, lack of heat, lack of food, and residents not receiving meds or quality care in general. The aides always complain about not receiving their pay or having to wait a week after payday to cash their check. This is a very ghetto company. If you care about your loved one you will not enroll them in this agency. You’ll do it only to have to report an incident to the state later. If you don’t believe me just google them. You’ll see that they’ve had much trouble with the state in the past.

The worst company I’ve ever worked for. I’m employed by them to help my brother in law with muscular dystrophy. You get paid $10 an hour and are lucky if your check gets deposited. 6 times I’ve had to drive to Philly from Maryland to pick up my check. It’s in the middle of the ghetto. I dk how they’d ever get clients in wheelchairs to the office when there’s no wheelchair accessibility. Then multiple times I’ve tried to cash my check and the company has no money in the account to pay me. The people working in the office are the most atrocious people I’ve ever met. I dk if it’s bc I’m white , but the way they treat me is disgusting. This will now be my 7th payday having to drive to philly (4 hour trip all together. $25 in gas each trip. ) just to pick up my $10 an hour paycheck. Why they can’t get my direct deposit ??? Even though I’ve been told over and over that it will be in there next pay.

Management is horacious. The director is a tree killer her forms make no sense at all and are waste of paper , get in 2014 the phone is used in agencies for payroll and computer is used for training. The attitude of big women with big mouths Is very unprofessional and gets a lot of laughs. Sreaming only makes you look stupid. If you were a nurse and only a lpn , miss director, why are you pushing papers for a bunch of inadequate aids who half dont understand the language. The homes are full of problems, from neglect, to bugs, to abuse of the clients by the aids that gets overlooked. I am in contact with our state representatives and they will sending out teams at improtu times. You will see their cards in the door if they have come and missed seeing you. I was told some of these homes will be fined and some closed due to these issues being under investigation. So keep on you toes, and keep the best to keep the residents first, not your egos and silly stupid paranoia. OH by the WENDY I made a copy of the incident report for me the Murphys and the investigators. I dont take likely to being a scapegoat and being told my client could not go to the hospital, when he needed to talk to a therapist and was unable to get the behavioral health team on the phone. John Sweeney is being abused by Darnell Shockey and everyone in management is looking the other way. He told me he has to purchase a special fone because the caremore house and behavioral team blackberries are always. down,This is NO WAY TO RUN A HOMES THAT CARE FOR TBI CLIENTS. I WILL DO MY UTMOST POWER TO STOP THIS NONSENSE.
