The Italian Market is a wonderful destination to spend a nice day wandering about. The market is comprised of some wonderful culinary destinations and this is certainly one of the center jewels that make up the Italian markets crown. Come in and see what they have to offer. When you realize that your favorite spot to eat may combine up to 50 ingredients between meats, vegetables, grains and all the wonderful oils and spices you realize that these flavors, taste and smells are proof of Divinity. They are there for your enjoyment and should be coveted for the value they add to the meals you prepare. Oils from around the world are grown with love, transported with caring love and prepared in dishes that we sustain our families with. Combining together wonderful ingredients and the meal becomes a treasured memory to enjoy. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are accessible from SEPTAs bus routes 47M, 47,45 and 64. Municipal parking lots are scattered around the market along with on street parking. Driving in South Philly and the Italian market area is not for the faint of heart. Ample public transportation as well as Lift & Uber should be considered to maximize the pleasure of your trip. This stuff is delicious! I put it on bread, in pasta, meat, soup. Great way to elevate a meal. Its also a great present. It lasts a long time! Completely worth it!

Went there for the first time today and was quite impressed. The owner, Irene, was friendly and quite knowledgeable. Such a treat to be able to taste the different oils from around the globe. Quite a vast selection of evoos and balsamic vinegars. They even have honey and hot sauces as well. What a tremendous find in the heart of the Italian Market. Will surely be back.

This taproom is getting a 2 because their basil olive oil is worth 5 stars, but their Tuscan Herb Olive is worth -1 stars. Please dear god do NOT buy their Tuscan Herb olive oil unless you enjoy tasting evergreens.

This place is amazing! As an oil and vinegar tap room, you get to sample all their merchandise. They have a wide variety of items to choose from that will keep you going back for more. Great place for gifts or just your own personal use. They have great combinations for salad dressings, marinades, bread dipping and more. They also sell honey.

Very customer friendly. Ordered on line and received products in 1 day. You must try Orange and Peach balsamic. Taste best in salads along with the 25 Star Dark balsamic.

The best thing of Cardenas is that you can taste all kinds of olive oils and vinegars before buying. The owner of the shop is very friendly. Designs of products and Interior of the shop are impressive: simplicity, clean, cozy.A little bit pricy compared to general products you can find groceries, but theirs were tastier and fresh.

If you cant tell good oil from poor, then dont bother. If you appreciate high quality, there is no other. This is my goto place for oil and vinegar.

I was skeptical that the oils offered here would be that much better than good oil in a grocery. But they are. Buy a flavored oil, cool some chicken in it and the chicken can taste like lemon, coconut, rosemary, etc. This place got me hooked on flavored oil & vinegar.

Pricey but well worth it - their blackberry vinegar, Persian lime olive oil, and Tupelo honeys are my favorite of literally all time. I also suggest just popping in to sample any and everything!

Beautiful place and you can tell they take their oil seriously. Even if you think you know what you want, go in with an open mind and you will be quite happy with whatever you get.
